If there is one time in gaming that i am excited for that would be for E3. I am always excited to see whats coming out for Microsoft and Nintendo. So My countdown on Monday was awesome until the actual moment when Gamespot started to brodcast the live Microsoft show and all it was for me was a white screen. I refreshed and refreshed but still nothing. SO i had to go to IGN where the audio was choppy but it worked and no video which bittered me. Then i found Gametrailers.com where you could watch a minute of the video and then stop and you had to refresh the screen. I was so angry.
So i watched the brodcast on Tuesday on Gamespot which worked and i must say I was super excited for what Microsoft is doing. Modern Day Warfare 2 Stole the show. Thats going to be an amazing game and I can't wait for November. But I must say that I was in awe when i saw Project NATAL!!!!!! I watched that bit several times. I showed my son and my wife. The only thing that i could compare it too is a Star Trek Holodeck program. WOW. That was amazing how the girl interacted with Milo.
So I couldn't wait for the Nintendo show because I am also a big Nintendo fan. So my countdown was on and the exact same thing happened where it was a white Screen. Again super bitter. But i went to Gametrailers.com again and there was no issue with that site this time. Nintendo put on the worst show that i have ever seen. It was so dissapointing. There was really nothing that was exciting about the show. It was borring and no big announcements. A very casual approach to the biggest gamming convention of the year.
I didnt realize that the Sony show was on after the Nintendo disaster so i had to wait until today to watch it. It was good they had some big announcements and their Wii remote knockoff is looking way better then what the Wii has done. MAG is looking so fantastic I couldn't believe it. I didn't know anything about that game until this morning. Imagine 256 players all at once????
My final thoughts are that Modern Day Warfare 2 stole the show and then MAG looks liek a pant load of fun. As for innovation PROJECT NATAL was incredible. Well onto the Tokoyo game show and then anticipte some awesome releases this year and then E3 2010. Thats it for now.
I've finally reached my limit. I'm leaving for good.
I've just finally had enough and I'm moving on for good.
I'll miss the people here, but not the place. I'm sorry this is abrubt, but I just don't feel right giving this site my hits anymore. It's not worth it.

Hey Back again !!! the Shinedown show was awesome !!!! I couldn't believe how small the Tabernacle was, I guess it holds maybe 2000 people, but it totally rocked !!!! we saw Number one contender, Halestorm, and of course, Shinedown !!! NOC is a band from Charleston, and they were pretty good, the lead singer came out with no shirt on from the beginning, so the girls were with him from the get go. They also had a guitar player who wore a shirt and tie and a sweater vest and looked like Lance Armstrong, we called him the professor. !!!! Then Halestorm came on, and they totally rocked !!! my wife was not a big fan, what a shocker since Halestorm features Lzzy Hale as the lead singer !!! her brother is the drummer, and the band did something I have never seen- the drummer (Arejay) did a solo, and really got the crowd going, and then when he had 'em going good, he pulled out a pair of drumsticks that were like 3 feet long, and he kept playing with them !!! THEN, the rest of the band came out and set up a set of 4 drums in the front of the stage, and the whole band played drums together, Lzzy and her brother and the 2 other guitar players, all together, VERY COOL!!!!!!! PLUS , when Lzzy came out, she had a white Flying V, and she later also played a explorer guitar, and I think she really sings very well, she also gets the crowd into it, which is VERY big !!! i just checked out a youtube video of halestorm , in a radio station, Lzzy sang Heart's All I wanna do is make love to you, one of my favorite all time heart songs, in an acoustic version, also super cool!! Watch for Halestorm, they will be big one day !!! Then, Shinedown came out, no pyro, no big intro, very litttle lights, they just kinda showed up: Barry the drummer came out and took his spot, and then Brent and the guys came out, and they just started playing and rocking, and the whole place was really INTO IT , ya know?? I LOVED IT !!!!! they rocked the place, we were on the second floor, and we could feel the floor bouncing up and down, A LOT, we were a little worried, but we just said, screw it and we had a fantastic time !!! I would easily say it was one of the best concerts i've seen yet, (EVER!!!) just from the energy and the love for the band, it was something special being in an old building that now just lives to rock it!! I truly hope the belugas and the rest of the fish at the georgia aquarium were at least feeling the music and , Iknow they would enjoy it !!!! the belugas love to dance, you know ?? we got a Halestorm cd, and I got the wife a Shinedown t shirt, and she had a really great time, maybe even more so than the Nickelback concert!!! my wife made friends with a woman behind us, and she didn't know Shinedown before, but she likes them now !!!! SD didn't play Simple Man, which was a letdown, but I watched some stuff on youtube where Brent said they basically said they just didnt feel the same playing the song now without Jasin, and that it was kinda a tribute to Dimebag Darrel when they did it. I can understand that, and I think it's so cool they are a band that actually has that much feeling and attachment to their songs and the music and the people who inspired it, to them, ya know ??I would easily pay to see the show again, tomorrow, a month from now, a year from now, whenever!!!
ps , Shinedown announced they are touring this summer with Halestorm,Chevelle (another very cool band) and Staind !!
pps ROCK SO LIVES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
listening to : Audioslave, right this second!!! ( so awesome!!!) also, Halestorm (duh!!) (I GET OFF !!) and Seether (check out the videos, they have some awesome ones, a great use for youtube, Seether is really great !!!!) as well as metallica, Kill em all and Death Magnetic !!!! both are awesome
lifelong shooter, dr pepper's biggest fan, Jack Reacher fan !!!
After 13 months I am Back on "Gamespot"

Hello everyone! How's it going? Wooh! I beat GTA IV about two weeks ago, and I am recovering quite well. I was awfully scared there for a while. I stayed up the entire night once during my GTA addiction. That was a bit too much, even for me. As I said though, I beat it, and I am better now. I still have more to complete to get 100% though, but I'm going to take my time. So what now then? GAMING BONANZA TIME!!!!!
This is not a real event, except that I am making it up right now. If it's not copyrighted, yeah I'm copyrighting that now, consider it copyrighted, done! Anyway, what I'm talking about is a massive shopping spree for video games. Maybe you've done it before, well guess what now it's called a GAMING BONANZA. The all caps is essential to the "bonanzaness." There I just made up a word too. I'm going on one! A big one, whether my wallet likes it or not! I don't care. I need to fill this craving for games. So what I would like to do is tell you guys the games I'm thinking about getting, and maybe you could do me a favor and tell me what you think of them (if you have played them). Basically a "Yeah, definitely get it!" or a "It really wasn't that great." (with some explanation)
For the most part right now, I want to buy some games that were released a while ago as opposed to new releases. Hopefully, by the time I finish the older and cheaper games, the new releases' prices will have been reduced. Got to save all the $$$$$ I can if I want to go on a GAMING BONANZA. Some of these games I may already be sold on, but your opinions would really help me out.
?games I'm unsure of getting
$games I'm waiting for the price to drop
Nintendo Wii
No More Heroes, $Mario Kart Wii, $Super Mario Galaxy, $Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Bully: Scholarship Edition, $Wii Fit?
Xbox 360
Crackdown?, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion("game of the year edition" worth it?), F.E.A.R.?, Hitman: Blood Money?, Mass Effect?, The Orange Box?, Saints Row?, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas, $Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2, Fight Night: Round 3, Dead Rising, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare(is it worth it if I don't utilize the multiplayer because I hear single player is too short)?
Also, if you have any games that I have not listed that you highly recommend, please share!
Lastly, I would just like to say: "If you have not seen The Dark Knight yet, GO AND SEE IT! I saw it on opening day, and I really liked it. The joker has always been my favorite comic book villian of all time, let alone my favorite villian of any media of all time. Most villians have an agenda or goal (money, power/world domination, revenge, etc.), but not the Joker. That is why I love him. He has no reason to do the things he does, other than for the fun of it, to promote chaos. He's just so cool like that. His style, his lack of sanity, his poor sense of humor; He is simply the best in villiany. The movie was brilliant in my opinion. Lengthy, about 2 1/2 hours. Very, very dark (hey, it isn't call "The Light Night"). Tons of action, amazing action. Twists, turns. Overall, just a darkly fun sort of ride. So please, I would love to have your gaming opinions, and I'll let you know how the GAMING BONANZA turns out!
Why so serious? (see that movie!!!...seriously)

One of the truest things I've read. The TC was saying sheep were desperate for having a "Buy No More Heroes" campaign.
Of course they are desperate. They are desperate to get out of the completely illogical and idiotic cycle of self-fulfilling prophesies created by developers towards Nintendo.
Basically, developers just assume that Wii users only want kiddie games or Nintendo games. So they make a crap kiddie game and when nobody buys it, it must be because they only want Nitendo games...and not because their game sucked. Or when it comes to NON-kiddie games, they say "Mature games won't sell on the Wii because if they did people would be making them" or "Mature games don't sell on the Wii because people only want Nintendo games which are kiddie". Both of these are wrong and totally make no sense at all.
Then when somebody does finally put out a Mature title for the Wii that is good, nobody buys it because it's made by some small company that casuals don't know of and has a crazy look that casuals don't typically identify with. Yet if this game fails for its lack of commercial appeal...it will only once again fuel the developers self-fulfilling prophesy that Wii owners don't want real games.
So of course the sheep are desperate to help a Mature Wii title get the recognition it deserves. Imagine what lemmings would be like if developers looked at the RPG sales compared to FPS sales and said, "We're not going to bother making RPGs for the 360 because 360 owners only want FPS" and yet when they do bring out an RPG it isn't Mass Effect but some crap PS2 port that sucked back on the PS2 and sucks now.
