When I first heard about the DS I was mad at Nintendo at the same time that I was excited. They are basing the rest of their future in thus little handheld and the one thing that I’m worried about is that the DS wont be used to its full potential. What I mean is that the DS has tons of features which all sound exciting but will the developers use all of these features I’m personally not sure. Most of the launch titles seem to be using most of the features well but when the system starts to age I’m afraid that these features will be abandoned. And the thing that makes it a big possibility is the possible huge success of the PSP. If the PSP wins over the DS we will see PSP ports with a map or something to fill up the bottom screen and none of the features will be used. But it is a double edge sword because if the DS succeeds then the PSP will be in a worse position with the PSP not being able to use any of the DS features besides wireless play. All I know is that only 1 winner will prevail from this handheld war.

Katamari damacy is one of those games that every one talks but never gets around to playing it but you should at 20 dollars this game is a steal. Just because it has primitive graphics dose not mean that it’s a bad game namco made the objects in the game blocky because there is a hidden agenda behind it in katamari damacy you are trying to roll things up into a ball witch is round and the objects are square or blocky which don’t get rolled too well what im trying to say is that the graphics are inducive to the game play. Not every day do you see a truly Japanese game make it overseas and when ever I see one of these games I have to pick them up just for a change of pace besides the more "American" violent and vulgar games I usually play. This game is truly original and if you don’t want to buy it for only 20 $ then at least give it a rent its worth that and more.

As Christmas approaches all I can think about is games and I sure that the game companies want it this way and as each new game releases I am more and more concerned about my wallet. I know it’s the holiday season and all but I don’t have 3000 dollars to spend on games. So now I have to decide which games are worth my money first off im getting the Nintendo ds just because sometimes im sick of playing games the same way. Next im going to buy halo 2 of course. But after those two choices im stuck. I’ve never been to big a fan of GTA and I don’t know if ill have enough money for DOA ultimate right around the time of Halo 2 and that leaves me down to two games and two excellent games 1 is Metal Gear Solid 3 and the other is Metriod Prime 2 both have good and bad qualities and im torn between the two. Maybe ill get both if I can spend less on Christmas and if I cant decide maybe ill get another game for DS I dunno.
