Wow, saying goodbye to a second doctor since the series restarted again. I remember when Christopher Ecclestson started up the series again as, Doctor Who. He did a wonderful job along with castmate, Billie Piper. They were the perfect couple traveling through time making things right. As a kid and teen, I remember watching the old ones on the public access channel and remembered the cheap sets and compared them to how far along they came from that time. I mean, wow! They even kept some of the time lord enemies, such as the Dalecks (awesome). All around it's been great to reexperience those days since I was younger. How great is it that a newer generation was getting to experience such a wonderfully updated Doctor Who!! Then, it happened. Word came that Christopher said he didn't want to be "type cast" so he decided to move along after one season. How disappointing
. I mean who would be the next actor to pick up the eccentric, Doctor Who. Who, no punt intended, would meet the challenge??? David Tennant was named to be his successor. At first, it was a little odd to see Billie Piper up on the small screen with Mr. Tennant. However, it maybe only took a couple of episodes to really take to him. So charasmatic and what a smile. He had Doctor Who down to near perfection. The electricity of Billie Piper and David Tennant on the screen couldn't be denied either
. We've seen assistants come and go through the last few years but now I think it will take more than a couple of episodes to get used to our newly evolved, Doctor Who. Good luck, sir, you've got some big shoes to fill! Also, thank you, Mr. Tennant, for those wonderful few years as Doctor Who, what an awesome job you've done....I wish you all the best in your future endevors!!!
I know that no one misses me but what the hey, and if you do for some odd reason well then I'm sorry for keeping all of you in the dark for so long but school called, and basketball season ended a while back, made it to City Semi- Finals before losing to the eventual city winner....(I still can't see how that happened but it did *le sigh*), I've also been helping with the freshmen/sophmore basketball team in preparation for there season as well as preparing myself with training on my soon to be home, Parris Island, South Carolina where they make MARINES.

Yes, that is right. No spell checked needed or fogging of glasses and wiping them with your sleeve. I've enlisted in the Marines, (No help from my boys Mac Taylor, Leroy Jethro Gibbs and Danny McCoy) fully kidding of course. Kidding about the fact that tv characters prompt my decision of becoming a Marine, I meant. I've talked to my mom about it as well as my brother and they both fully support me on the decision, I weighed it, pros and cons, for, what seems the better half of high school, and have come out to say that I am going to do it. So after high school, I shall be shipped out to Parris Island, South Carolina and will attend the gut wrentching, OMFG! (according to many of my friends) what was I thinking, I should quit right now, pain staking, tiring, boot camp from hell/expirience of a lifetime and make it out with triumph and be able to call myself a Marine and have gained further more respect from many. It'll be a heck of an expirience I'll say that much, but It'll get me that much more closer to becoming what I want to be, and there is nothing wrong with that. That and I'll be in super duper shape man
Well on to what many of us here actually care about...TV! YAY! Say it with me now...YAY!!! ![]()
I've had to re-think and think some more as well as think some more after thinking abot the rank of my shows. Some have fallen and some have risen, tremendously.
1.House
It's officially taken over as thenumber 1 show for me. Hands down. It was in a heated battle with Dexter and CSI, but lately it's blown it out of the water and it's officially resided in the number 1 spot.
2. Dexter
|
The only reason that its NOT number 1 is because I'm painfully- I mean patiently awaiting for the next season to finally come around, so slowly I am dying inside...No, well, my box seasons still keep me alive, and I always love re-watching the episodes so thats good....right?!
3. CSI:NY
I have been going on a CSI:Ny overload man. I have been re-watching and re-watching episode after episode and I have fallen in love with the show again. I love it when that happens dont you?
4. 30 rock
I just love this freaking show. It's so unique in the sense that theres refernces that pop out from nowhere which I manage to capture like 7 out of the 10 and even when I reflect back onto the references and finally catch what the hell they meant or said, it makes it that much more of an amazing show.
5. X-files
Well now. Lets see, first show that I ever watched. Captivated me since....I was 6. First show that I ever bought a box season for, had posters up, wanted since forever to meet the people playing the main characters (which i totally did!
), followed with such a passion that I think I shed a tear when the finale came. Yea, that's right, I said that I cried when it was over! ![]()
(ONLY TOP 5 GET PICTURES....AND NO! I WILL NOT GO AGAINST MY DECISION OF POSTING PRETTY PICTURES WITH COLORS....OH NOW THAT JUST SOUNDS LIKE FUN...:p )
6. NCIS
Marines. Navy. Gibbs. Need I say more?
7. Jeeves and wooster
It may just possibly be that I love Hugh laurie that damn much, but I mean with an amazing show like this to boot...who wouldnt love this man? Brilliantly based, with Stephen Fry to also boot, their chemistry can not be ignored as I love this show way too much.
8. Nip/Tuck
Sex. Plastic surgeons. More sex. Unfiltered words and...sex. Los Angeles. Hmmm, need I even DARE to say more?
9. Stargate sg-1
10. Heroes
Sylar. Yea, that's right I said it!
11. Without a Trace
Gruffy Jack. Ha ![]()
12. As the World Turns
I mean if you thought that your life was pretty effed up, watch one episode and you wont even consider complaing again. Someone either gets stabbed, shot, pregnant, loses that kid, kidnapped, broken up with, cheated on....ummm....well everything horrible that you could think of could pretty muched be summed up on a week of this.
13. SVU
14. CSI
You've...dissapointed me. With the leave of Grissom, I knew that it wouldnt be the same so I continued to watch it and hoped that some familarity would surface but everything seemed thrown off completely. It turned into the Langston show...I mean even when Grissom was on it, it didnt completely revolve around him, but now it seems that everything revolves around Langston. *sighs* I've stopped watching it, and havent bothered to continue to go on with it.
15. Las Vegas
16. Weeds
17. The Mentalist
18. Scrubs
19. The Ultimate Fighter
With only 3 episodes in...I know that this will jump up in my stands in no time. Henderson and Bisping, with their teams in tow, will make out to do some ridiculous training as well as teach these men some things or two about fighting in the octagon. damn....just an opportunity to train with them....lucky punks....
20. Intreatment
I didn't write something for all of them, as I made that quite painfully aware.
Sooo...until next time, I'll see you cats on the flip side. Have a goood weekend!!! ![]()
So I have been formally accepted to the U of O now, and I have also put in a request to live in the residency halls. I'm pretty excited about that.
So the weirest thing happened with the guy I was dating. He said he didn't want to be in a relationship and I was really really really really broken up about it. But then I went over to his house (he's a great guy and I really wanted to still be friends with him) and it was almost like nothing had changed. I even asked him what kind of relationship he wasn't ready for (he said he wasn't ready to be in a relationship when he broke up with me) and he said that he didn't know. He also feed me all these lies about turning 18 soon and needing to find a job and a place to live and just growing up and being respoinsible and all that and he hasn't done any of that. So I'm upset about that, but also because I just really miss him. He doesn't call me as much and he rarely ever has time for me and well...I'm pathetic. Really, I am. And I know it. But he's all I think about and well...yeah. He also said that next year I was going to go away to college and he was going to be staying here, but it's only a three hour drive and I'd be home on weekends and holidays and...so finally he said that he wasn't happy with our relationship. So I locked myself in my room for about the entire weekend and cried. And then I felt so much better and I talked to him and...yeah. That really is all a mess. I don't know what to do about any of this. Ahhh... well I have two papers to write, a book to read and a whole bunch of stuff to do for the Mock Trials. So, until next time!

Home, the highly antisipated virtual game for the Playstation 3, has been rumored to be released this month on the 24th. Did sony finally set a date so that we...the ps3 owners, can finally have fun with our own space. Getting to create your own rooms, going around town, watching real cinamatics(movies). What more could you ask for??? Creating your own person with dowloadable items. I hope sony is true about this release date, or is it just a rumor??? Either way, we're hoping that we can sit back, relax, and go Home!!!
*Theres alot more that I havent said about it but search home, and expirience it yourself ![]()

Hello!
I know it's been entirely too long, but as some of you know I have been hanging out at LJ much more than this site recently. If you want my LJ just ask. The reason for this post you ask? Well...XF2 has finally been anounced!! And to my great relieve it's going to be with David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson!! Funny thing is just one day before I read the happy news I had finally completely given up on ever seeing new XF ever again.
Erm...maybe I should have done that sooner? Either way, I feel like I deserved this, because major crap has happened to me this week! OK relative ofcourse, but still...I have been sick at home all week with an upper respiratory trackt infection with ear nose and throat problems and to top it off some problems with my balance (cos of earprobs)
and because I wasnt feeling **** enough, the pc gremlins kicked in and made my HD go crash again. Yeah cos that didnt happen to me just 2 months ago! grrrr!!
Anyway...YAY XF2!!!

Said the joker to the thief
There's too much confusion here
I can't get no relief
Businessmen they drink my wine
Plowmen dig my earth
None of them know along the line
What any of this is worth
No reason to get excited
The thief, he kindly spoke
There are many here among us
Who think that life is but a joke
But you and I, we've been through that
And that is not our fate
So let us not talk falsely now
Because the hour is getting late
All along the watchtower
Princes kept the view
While horsemen came and went
Barefoot servants too
All I got is a red guitar
Three chords
And the truth
All I got is a red guitar
The rest is up to you
There's no reason to get excited
The thief, he kindly spoke
There are some among us here
Say that life is just a joke
You and I, we've been through that
And that is not our fate (at least today)
So let us not talk falsely now
Because the hour is getting late
Late...

Ok a lot of stuff is happening this summer holidays so I'm not really going to be able to get on much, so just saying to the XF forum I'm not abandoning you! and I'll be back... but maybe not regularly till like August/September. ![]()
I'm really excited cause I'm going to the Lake District for a week with my half sister and her kids and it will be about 9 of us all staying in this house, so hopefully it'll be fun!! I'm also going to Edinburgh for a while - not quite sure how long, but I'm pretty sure there won't be a computer anywhere! And I'm in a dancing show so there's rehearsals all the time now and I'm going to be late coming in from the theatre at night so I'll go to bed and not come on here!
So anyway I'll miss you guys and maybe I'll come on once in a while but I will probably not speak properly until I'm back in school when my routine can start again!!
Thats it really - just wanted to post and say so properly, love you all xxxxxxxxx
THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE! ![]()
Lets start with the bigwigs shall we...
CHRIS CARTER - Series creater and therefore considered by some to be a god. He has however also achieved a name for himself as being a pr1ck about continuity and character development. He has a had a hand in most of the Myth arc eps and is responsible for MOTW's like Triangle, Irresitble and Syzygy but also the much disliked Space.
FRANK SPOTNITZ - A major writer from early on that stuck with the show. He is most known for being the man behind the Myth Arc but he also wrote a few stand alones such as Alone and Leonard Betts.
MORGAN AND WONG - A great writing pair that wrote alot of the early MOTW episodes such as ICE and Squeeze. They left the show at the end of season 2 but then returned for a while in season 4 with Never Again and Home. They also dabbled in the Myth Arc in that they are responsible for One Breath.
