A Non-Fiction Science-Fiction novel.

I know it sounds like an oxymoron, and it is an oxymoron but it's also a legitimate literary genre. I just bought a book called The I-Files: True Reports of Unexplained Phenomena in Illinois. It's filled with "true" stories of ghost sittings, close encounters, big foot, a killer kangaroo who the writer believes to be a Chupacabra, vampires, and crop circles. All these stories are backed up with eyewitness accounts taken from newspapers and police reports, photographs, and scientific evidence that the writer twists a little to fit his theory (that's what all non-fiction writers and most scientists do, actually but that's another conversation for another time). It's all true. Sort of. So, you're probably asking yourself why I'm reading this book, or maybe you aren't. Either way, you're still going to find out. This quarter I'm taking a c l a s s called Writing Non-Fiction. It's similar to the one I took over the summer only less annoying, and more fun. Instead of having to write a research paper, I get to pick a topic and write a story with it. Think non-fiction novels and short stories or articles VS research papers. It doesn't have to be a regurgitation of what I read but rather a true or somewhat true story told in an interesting way. Anyway, enough explaining how this course is different from last quarters. I'm really interested in this c l a s s. I can't wait to read all sorts of non fiction articles and stories from books and magazines that I've started to collect about flying saucers, werewolves, vampires, and all sorts of other X-filesy stuff. Speaking of the X-Files, I got the term non-fiction science-fiction from them, in an episode called Jose Chung's From Outer Space, which is about a writer who went to a small town where UFOs had been spotted, and the body of a dead alien was found. It's a Rashōmon episode, wherein a story is told from the point of view of multiple characters and they all have a different version of events. I highly recommend the episode, even if you don't like the show itself. I haven't decided exactly what I'm going to write about now, although I might right about my own UFO sighting, in a sort of multiple point of view sort of way. Anyway, I'm really excited about the whole thing, and just wanted to share. Now I'm off to write a journal entry for class about the non-fic Sci-fi stuff and about how I'm not the sort of person who journals—mostly because we're supposed to keep a journal for class.

what happened?

I'm so angry at myself. This site means the world to me, I've met some really great people here,.. but nowadays I just can't seem to find any time for this!

I know I should just sit down and write. and comment. but what the h.e.l.l. is this damn block I keep getting when I should. okay, this blog is mostly about complaining, but usually I wouldn't like to complain here. I have my finnish blog for that. but when I get the urge to write, it's when I feel sad and when I need to vent it off somewhere and to someone, though probably no one reads it. even the thought that someone might helps me.

but there's just so much going on in my life that internet has lost a huge part of its meaning to me. there are only a couple of pages I visit (including fb.. shame on me! ) and even during that time I'm on messenger aaaaaaalllll the time. (even now I'm "talking" with two, which makes this process really slow)

today I just wanted to stop by and tell (like nobody cares, but still) that I'm still very much alive and constantly watching tv. though now during the summer only top gear. and with work and all even that much seems impossible. I'm just waiting for fall and new seasons of lost, house, office, pushing daisies, desperate housewives, brothers and sisters,.. the lot.

funny how I feel I'm doing nothing and still I have no time. guess I'm doing something wrong.

I did do something destructive though.. I broke my glasses last week during my four day holiday. and today my phone started to seriously fall apart. not to mention my computer has just been fixed *again*.

but I'm happy with my life. I really am. what else matters when you have those around you who you love?

I've made up mind, I've accepted the inevitable

So, first off, I want to say something so I don't feel obligated to post on EVERYONE'S blogs like I've been doing (I really did and it got really tedious since no one seemed to ever post in mine). So, if you post in mine, I'll post in yours. Simple. I seem to have a lot of "friends" on here who only post there own blogs and expect everyone who they are friends with to comment. Well screw that. So like I said, post in mine and I'll comment on yours.

So, it looks like the Tigers' season is over.

Brandon Inge won't have to do this anymore!

At least the hockey season starts soon! That'll keep my mind off my other favorite team!

The Wings are currently 3-1 in the pre-season and from what I saw, they are looking good.

Every commentator always, always, always says the Red Wings aren't going to be good, but they always, always, always prove them wrong.

Henrik Zetterberg is looking REALLY good and a lot of good things are being said about him.

For the next two weeks, I'll be going crazy with tv shows as well as the Red Wings!

This Thursday is the season premiere of CSI, but next Thursday is even better! Nick and Greg have their own case!!! I'm excited for that, screw Sara, bring on the subtext!!!

This Wednesday Ghost Hunters continues with a brand new episode! Next Wednesday South Park continues with a brand new episode!

As always stayed tuned for continuing episodes of As the World Turns and Power Rangers Operation Overdrive. Luke and Noah will be on this Wednesday and Thursday. I'm so excited the story is getting really. Col. Psycho is totally creeping me out. On Power Rangers, Mack's a robot, but there hasn't been a new episode for two weeks!

Well, have a super day everyone!
