Closing Chapters

I went ahead and signed up an account at Giant Bomb. It shouldn't be too hard to gues the screen name I used. Its something i don't plan to use often, if at all, but its an opportunity to finish some pages and close the book. Figured I might make some note of it anyways.

A Good Investment

Even though I'm not the type to watch the E3 coverage, being far to lazy and self-centered, I do happen to hear about things from those who do. The Wii is definately a strong investment. With the way games are looking now, I can only see good things forthcoming. Seriously, just look

A Friend

A person whom I know through Steam, my current addiction, went ahead and fixed up his Gamespot account and informed me of it. Interesting fellow. Ding56

Used Wii Provides More Than Expected

I went out today and fulfilled my obligation of purchasing the newest console from Nintendo. THere goes my sweet, almost worthless, American dollars.

For some reason, the local electornics store was entirely out of the things, so I had to get a little sneaky in ym efforts to find one. So, with a few friends in tow, I went out to the used 'nerd' store. Gloriously, behind the counter sat the box containing the infared sensor goodness, as well as right next to the entry way there was a pretty little copy of Fire Emblem. With the game in one hand, and my money in the other, I bought the used Wii for market price: $249.99. No Wii Sports. No brand new smell. No bubble wrap. It sounded like a bit of a jip, but I happened to aquire a copy of Wii Sports in my adventures, so that didn't bother me as much as not having the bubble wrap to preoccupy my time in setting the white monster up. I really like bubble wrap.

After a long walk home, about 2.38 miles according to Google Earth, the box was on the floor and the system was being brought to life like a Frankenstein monster. Charlie ahd to tinker with it, and I wasn't going to keep him from my little white and blue box. The thing had its juice running, Wiimote set up, and LAN codes entered.

At some point or another, it corrsed our minds to look at the downloadable content. A hidden value to this system. Just about $100 of content had been downloaded by the previous owner. I happen to also have Ocarina of Time amoung that amount. A happy boy, I am. Happy indeed. The fact of it being used actually saved me money in the long haul, now if I were to get some more Wiimotes than it would be a full blown party, well, Mario Party would be required to have it be a party by any means. Not my preferance of a party anyways.

A new dilema faces me: how am I going to afford Spore, Metal Gear Solid 4, Fallout 3, and Sins of a Solar Empire? The hoarding begins now, starting with the mountians of mulah I have left. Well, scratch that thought, its more like $20.

About Me

There is nothing much I can think of to say when given a broad topic, such as describing myself. The basics would be that I am currently 15, living in Kansas. I am a furry too, if anyone really cares or knows what that is anyways. I tend to be a little strange as well, and my view points on life are a little be out of the normal spectrum. That is it I guess.
