"Rotatin Round Its Axis" may be a failure as an album but what it demonstrates is incredible riffs, the ability to be very original and, on occasion, brilliant melodies with such notable examples being the unforgettable riff to "Still Time On The Clock Of Life", the only too immense melody for the chorus of "Building Blocks of an Ideal Society" and the equally brilliant chorus melody of "The Revelation". "Incitatus" is too anxiously awaited.

SOAD has more variation than every other act in history combined. They can do anything right by what I've heard so far. Already I ask, when's the next album coming out?

Brilliant back then and just as good now, KoRn can do no wrong. Their unique drum sound which sneaks into many of their songs is nothing short of legend and their videos are absolutely immense. Who says Nu Metal isn't hardcore?

NIN seem to know that it doesn't necessarily take a guitar to become hardcore. With dark, deep industrial sounds NIN are nothing short of unique although their lyrics may at times seem slightly emo: "Hurt" for example. Nevertheless an immense song.
