Brandi Carlile proves in her debut album of the same name that she has a versatile voice with a timeless quality, and persuades the listener that this is only the beginning.
Her voice is, simply, unique, and its beauty helps to capture the essence of the songs which it performs. Each and every song is a jem, and no doubt we shall see a lot more of Brandi in the future.

Those who expected the original Razorlight style of Up All Night will not be dissappointed, whilst many of those who had not previously been fans will not doubt be converted with this, Razorlight's second album.
Blending lyrics worthy of Lennon and McCartney with melodic genius and broad musical influence, Razorlight are sure to become international superstars. Showing influences from punk, ska, and various rock and indie genres, Razorlight's sound is impressive and innovative.
Every track is a masterpiece, the highlight, if one has to be picked, being the fourth track, 'America', which ironically, is probably this song that will ensure their success on the other side of the Atlantic.
The beauty and skill with which Razorlight plays makes this perhaps the best album released this year in its genre, and will excite those who are set to see rhem in their upcoming tour.
