My Xbox Went Boom!

My Xbox got the bloody 3 reds

This is the second time this has happened to me so I'll be getting my third Xbox when it returns. The first one lasted from release until Christmas '07. That one lasted until yesterday. I've just spent ten minutes on the phone with some stupid robot thing before I got the chance to speak to a real person. She was actually really helpful and we got everything sorted in about five minutes but that robot made me want to kill someone.

Now I have to go two weeks without my xbox and I've just bought Test Drive Unlimited nice and cheap

You have my sympathy especially as it will be your third! So many people I know who have 360s have suffered the RRoD, it's almost a case of when and not if. I'm scared *ulp*

Aww crap ... my condolences!
Exactly how long did you get from each before the problem? Despite being an inveterate tinkerer and itching to try out some mods on my newly-purchased 360, I'm making damn sure I won't do anything that might void the warranty before it's due date. Even though it's one of the new Jaspers, is meant to be less troublesome and seems to be running well, who can really tell when calamity may strike?

Awch that sucks major.. Hopefully you get back it soon. It goes to show even though the 360 I think gameplay waise is a better machine its seriously lacks in decreasing in age and just conking out randomly.

Im sorry beamish....but you deserve it, with the court case coming up and all those lawsuits, its gonna be a few years before you get to play your 360 again..but I guess you'll enjoy being in prison
