This is the beastie boys first album! It is hard core new york punk rock! This music is some of the best stuff to dance to! A really good song on this album that everyone can sing and dance with is Brass Monkey (#7) If you cant dance to this your crazy. This whole album is upbeat and happy and sure to cheer you up when you are down low! It is also plain and simply great music!

I cant understand why people dont like to the 5 boroughs as much as the other thier other CDs. The first song of the beastie boys that I heard was ch-check it out (which is on this album) and it sure gave me a good first impression. How could anyone not like a great song like the brouhaha or shazam!?

This is the best band ever!!! I have never seen a band even come close to them, belive me!! Thier songs and albums are incredible! I cant belive that some people dont like to the five boroughs. Yes, it is a little bit diffrent than thier other CDs but it still rocks!! Unlike some other rappers the beastie boys have energy and style. Infact I dont even like rap, but I do love the beastie boys rap! That shows how much I love them! My dad, who also hates rap, says that the beastie boys rock. If you have never heard these guy before, you should really check them out!
