Snow Days/ Halloween Taco
Blog Post- 139
Hey!
So this week was my first week back to school since Fall Break. However, I only went to school Monday and Tuesday. There was a huge blizzard that snowed everyone in on Wednesday and Thursday and today was kind of a bonus snow day. I'm so excited that we got a five day weekend out of what was supposed to be a normal week. I got some homework done, but I still enjoyed the three days off. And my gums stopped hurting at right about Tuesday night from last Thursdays surgery.
Before all of the blizzard madness, I got my costume for halloween. I don't trick or treat anymore, but I am going to two parties on halloween night. So, I picked a taco! I have a sombrero to go along with it and am going to draw a moustache on halloween night. It looks totally ridiculous. lol.

Gum Surgery/Stupid Essays
Blog Post- 138
Hey, everyone!
So today I had surgery on my gums (at 8:30 am- SOO TIRED)to correct some tooth issue. Now my teeth/gums hurt so much!!!!! I took vicodin twice now, but all that has done is made me loopy and made me act all chill. It's a strange feeling. So I can only have milkshakes for the next few days (which sounds quite nice actually). Oh, and I can't raise my heart rate. I actually am told by a doctor to be lazy (That's a first!). So... yeah
I'm on Fall Break until Monday, but I still have to write two stupid essays, read 9 chapters in my book, and make a ppt presentation. I just took an online chem test (and got a 65%. I suck this year). I don't get it. Fall BREAK doesn't seem much like a BREAK. And this week came out of our summer break, which was an actual BREAK.
Anyways, I better get to them.

MIA No more/ Criminal activity/ Fall break/ New favorite music
Blog Post- 137
So this has been one of the longest gaps in the past year or so of me not writing a blog. I am totally inconsistent, so sorry about that. BUT, I will be writing more often for the next week or two because of fall break (which I'll later get into in this blog). But, I am not MIA anymore, so yeah. Here I am blogging!
So today was one of the scariest days of my life. It happened at about 5:00, so I was home from school by about 2 hours. Anyways, I was working on some school thing when I heard a noise that sounded like a plane. But it kept getting louder and louder, so I looked out my window and there was a car that came at about 85mph going around a corner (It's important to mention that I live off of the corner). So the car kept swerving, eventually getting within three feet of breaking through our houses wall. I swear I thought he was going to demolish our house. But, he turned so hard on the wheel that his tire virtually exploded, and another one was ripped into shreds. He kept pushing on the gas with 2 1/2 wheels and smoke was getting kicked up. I knew something bad was up cuz he was urgent to pull out of where he was stuck with 2 1/2 wheels. Before I knew it, an armed cop came up to the car and ripped the guy out of his seat and pinned him down on the road. The guy was then handcuffed and put in the police car. I have no clue what he did, but wow. I was freaking out. It was like watching Law & Order or some crime show, except it was actually happening ten feet in front of me. So freaking scary.
Anyways that was a major part of my day. I am now down to just tomorrow and friday, and than it is 9 days of fall break. I am totally stoked cuz teachers are being REALLY mean. I swear they think that fall break= the apocalypse. It's a friggin' week. That's it. BUT they have been assigning tests and projects that should take two weeks time in two days time. I don't understand why they have to cram in everything before the break, but really, can't they just wait? I am exhausted because of the extra work. Sometimes I wonder if there really is a purpose to their homework methods. It's just crazy.
Finally, I have recently gotten into some more musicians (all that had success in my favorite decade- the 1990's, and some still have major success today). So here they are and what I like from them:
Dave Matthews Band- Crash into Me, Ants Marching, Everyday, Where are you Going?, and Don't drink the water (featuring Alanis Morissette!!!!)
Fiona Apple- Criminal, Sleep to Dream, Paper Bag
Joan Osborne- One of us, St. Teresa, Lumina
Oasis- Champagne Supernova (LOVE), Wonderwall, Live Forever
Collective Soul- The World I know (brilliance), Shine, Staring Down, December
Meredith Brooks- Betch What would Happen
And yeah. Just thought I'd throw some names of interests out. TTYS!

Stupid Cookies/ Homecoming/ 14 Days
Blog Post- 136
Hey everyone!
So I know it has been 10-11 days since my last post, which is partially cuz of school/ homecoming events. However, another problem was that I couldn't log into TV.com because of probs with my "cookies". It was so stupid cuz I kept following their instructions and it still wouldn't log me in. So frustrating. BUT, the last time I did it it just worked, out of the blue (even though I did the EXACT same thing for the millionth time).
Anyways, this week was homecoming week at school! It was really fun. First, there was spirit week. Most of the days involved weird stuff to do with clothing like wearing as many shirts as possible and wearing clothes backwards and wearing all black. But it was cool. Friday I didn't have school, but had a rehearsal for the play cuz it debuts this upcoming week. But I went to the homecoming football game (and we SCHOOLED the other team). Finally, I went to the dance on Sat. night and it was so fun. I'm usually a really shy person who doesn't talk much unless I really know someone, but dances have a way of insiding-out my personality. I danced my @$$ off! I went up to different groups of my friends and just started dancing with them. I must have danced with like 10 or 15 peeps.
And finally.... I only have 14 more school days until fall break. I must say that this schoolyear is going by REALLY fast. This week will be our 8th! I SO need a break. I just powered out an essay today about the Salem witch trials and how they connect to the Lavender Scare (which was the persecution of gays and lesbians in the 40's and 50's...so sad!). Plus, I can actually write like 3-4 blogs during that week instead of one!

Mid- September in Life
Blog Post- 135
I knew a few weeks ago that I'd have a blog slow down at about this time, and so far that is correct. Partially this is because of MAJOR school work. Teachers forget that we have other classes sometimes. Like, they think that we want to succeed in ONLY their class, but really they are only 1/7 of my worries. Anyways, I have been in school now for six weeks. I'm already exhausted and am counting down the days until Fall Break. It's been hard because I am up at 5:30 AM for school, but have to stay until 5:30 PM for play rehearsal as a stage manager. And then I get to do homework for who knows how long!
The good thing is that whenever I get a spare moment to actually watch TV, there are interesting things to watch. A) The Biggest Loser is back, which is a great show so I'll watch that and B) the NFL just started up a new season last weekend, and I'm a huge San Diego Chargers fan (and they won!).
So yeah, boring blog!
