This is my personal list for the top 30 games of the last ten years (2000-2009) with the system I played it on in parenthesis. It's a list of the top 30 games that most moved me, captivated me and addicted me to their siren song. Many of these games also trigger emotions and memories of times gone past and people gone away. In that sense, they aren't just just the best games I played, but games games that have actually helped shape who I am. It has been a great ten years for games, In fact, if I were to make a list of my favorite games of all-time, this list would hardly change. What do you guys think, what were your favorite games of the 00's?
1.Kill boosting for nukes
2.Kids boosting with riotsheilds in HC SnD
3.Kids boosting in general really
4.akimbo 1887's are completely over powered and have ridiculous range.
5.impossible to get into game ever, and if you playing by yourself most of the time the game has already started and your team is losing by alot.
6.javelin,stinger,etc glitch that when you die you kill everyone around you.
7. airdrops that give the losing team chopper gunners and ac-130's which is retarded in the first place.
8.nukes being only a 25 killstreak, with things like harrier strike and chopper gunner it has become way too easy to get a 25 kill streak. it should have been moved to 30 or 35.
9.levels where you can get into stupid spots. ex: on top of the higher buildings on highrise.
10.thermal scope and heartbeat sensor and the kids who camp with them excessively.
11.how none of the high powered sniper rifles have theability to one shot kill consistently.
12. assault rifles are stronger than the LMG, and kill much faster.
13.they give you only one claymore now and it doesnt even work that well most of the time.
14.the fact that i play on xboxlive and the ridiculous amounts of people talking trash. especially when they can't back it up.
15.kids (especially ones on HQ for some reason) who justify losing horribly, by saying they had a good k/d. ("eah good job camping buddy... did your controller come with a left analog stick?) then telling me im bad cause their k/d was better than mine, even though my score was sky high from capturing and destroying objectives. ( "eah i did die almost twenty times, but i still went positive, i played to win and accomplished that goal, and my score was almost triple the guy who came in second, but no excuse me what do know about call of duty.. i one have a 3.00 w/l ratio.")

i dont get y i am so happy to receive a platinum trophy???? its just a computer generated image with which i get a higher level. What is it about these trophies that makes us gamers so crazy for them?? maybe its the satisfaction of proving the completion of the game i dunno but i sure as hell will be wantin to collect some more trophies after spending another day collecting all the light seeds in prince of persia, something i wudnt even bother doing without trophies. How strange!!!
Question: Randy, one question has weighed on the minds of WWE fans for years: Why are you so damn angry ?
Answer: Look at what's happened to me during my career. I've always been on the main-event scene, always been chasing the title, but people-whether it's a GM or Triple H - keep getting in my way and giving me the short end of the stick. I'm not as angry as i used to be, though; I'm very happy right now, actually. The IED was obviously a hoax. I needed something to blame my anger on. Now that i am WWE Champion again, everybody knows that we are in the Age of Orton. But if anyone gets in my way, my anger will flare up, and I'll lash out and do what i need to do.
Question: With all due respect, how does someone as high-strung as you unwind at the end of the day ?
Answer: When i come home, the first thing i do before anything else is kiss my wife and roll around on the floor with my baby girl. That relaxes the hell out of me.
Question: Wow, we thought you'd say that you pummel a Triple H effigy. Is The Game still Public Enemy No. 1 for you ? And do you think you've earned the same distinction fromhim ?
Answer: Yes and yes. After what i did to his wife, father-in-law, brother-in-law, and even his friend Shawn Michaels earlier in my career, he'll never be able to forgive me. Whather we're on the same show or not, we're always going to bump heads. There's going to be a fight when we run into each other.
Question: In past interviews, you've discussed your early training in Ohio Valley Wrestling. While there, you felt you were the least likely talent on the roaster to succeed. Were you told that by trainers, or was it just an extreme lack of confidence ?
Answer: When i first got down there, I hadn't receive a lot of training. I remember throwing my first dropkick and barely getting above my opponent's knees. Everyone was looking around thinking, "Are you kidding me?" Basically, i had the job because my dad my grandfather and my uncle were all wrestlers.I was a legacy. So i had a tough time starting out. I was around guys like Brock Lesner, John Cena, Shelton Benjamin. Everywhere i looked there were Al-Americans and Olympians, including strongmen like Mark Henry. I was 20 years old and out of shape. I couldn't do anything. Guess i turned out to be a natural.
Its been a while now and both Nvidia and ATI have stick with their graphic cards, only doing small refreshes or name changes with Nvidia.
Though in these economic conditions its no wonder they have not released new graphic cards and they are hoping to sit out the first half of 2009 before they risk it into the market.
The latest graphic card from ATI is the 4890 and 275GTX from Nvidia, both cards are pretty cheap considering we've seen cards go up to amazing $650 especially from Nvidia, so this is a good sign.
But what will it come next, what strategy will ATI have and how will Nvidia respond since they've been the follower in this latest generation of graphic cards?
From what its known the new generation would be based on a 40nm manufacuring process, ATI is going to make 2 chips, 1 will be for the mainstream market, while the other chip for the performance segment.
Nvidia on the other hand is probably going to go for a 1 chip design for all cards as always, in which it will bring the big guns first and then slowly start bringing out slower variants.
One thing is certain though, Nvidia will not go out developing an expensive chip and wait for manufacuring improvement to bring slower variants, but it will be a mix of power and cheap to make.
The next graphic cards should be an evolution of the current graphic cards and likely we are going to see more streams/processors/shaders, higher clocks and support for DX11.
Nvidia is likely to follow ATI with GDDR5 technology since its cheaper than going for a 512bit bus.
The biggest improvement that we are probably going to see is in the coolors department, neither Nvidia, nor ATI have particularry good reference coolers and they are quite inneffective, loud and consume quite a bit of electricity.
So I'm going to guess that we are going to see some different coolers from both companies, since ATI cards with reference coolers run very hot, as much as 90 degrees and Nvidia cards are pretty close running at 70 degrees on load.
The final high end cards would be close to these:
ATI 5870:
960shaders
850MHz core clock
3500Mhz memory clock
1GB GDDR5 512bit
Nvidia GTX390:
384shaders
750Mhz core clock
3500MHz memory clock
1700MHz shaders clock
1GB GDDR5 512bit
Lower models would probably have smaller bus, i would guess 256bit or 384bit, less shaders and lower clocks.
Just beat Infinite Undiscovery a couple of minutes ago. I have to admit it's was a very good game. It had it's flaws but defiantly a all-time favorite of mine in terms of rpg games. So what's new? Not much other then this. Next week I get my hands on Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. Never played a star wars game so I don't know what I'm expecting(something good from what I've seen but ya never know...)

putting it in the 360 was probably the second most greatest time of my life. Up to now this was a happy moment for me and this
blog may sound somewhat over exaggerated but this game is that good, all the hype that has been building up to now exploded!

Yep, it was good. I was just looking forward to the cut scene. It was a very different game to most other zelda games. Tje menu is in real time which can make battle pretty hard and the dungeons ALL have the same music. But hey it was a good game.
Also level 26 Cyber-Lip but who cares about that

I bought a Xbox 360 yesterday, got the premium version. I got Perfeck Dark Zero for it. I'm a Perfect Dark fan. I'm planning on getting Smackdown Vs. RAW 2007 next. I also picked up Morrowind GOTY Edition for Xbox. Always wanted to play that, good thing I still have my original xbox too. Hope everyone is well.

Many paintballers look down upon airsofters, there's two reasons for this. 1. A lack of understanding and 2. EVERY AIRSOFT GUN PERFORMS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT, (for instance, someone who has only experience with a $20 spring gun or mini won't really think of airsoft as incredibly painful) unlike paintball guns that all hurt about the same , airsoft guns are all very different. The pain could be as insignificant as a small sting, or as bad as you having a bb sized open wound in your leg because your friend with the $600 gas powered sniper rifle thought it would be funny to shoot you just for the hell of it. Big difference there...
Spring guns and low powered electrics= CRAPSOFT (hurt very little)
Multi-hundred dollar Automatic Electric Guns, "REAL" springers (high end shotguns, snipers), Gas BlowBack pistols and such=AIRSOFT (make you cry and bleed)
MY POINT: "Real" airsoft is played with high end guns, not what you see at WAL-MART or the local sporting goods store

Airsoft is an intense, adrenaline-rich game that I am junkie of. Paintball used to be fun, but now it's all about this speedball arena crap that doesn't even make use of tactics or skill. Most people don't know that airsoft has been around for a hell of a lot longer, it just didn't become popular in the US until recently, before it was just an Asia and Europe thing. Airsoft is not played in a backyard (that's crapsoft) it's played in a indoor field, woods, recreated battlefield, or a cqb setting (S.W.A.T. kind of battle)
I even have an airsoft armory in my closet...

Thank god for my summer job to pay for it all...

Why I put this on Gamespot I have no idea, hopefully there's someone out ther who'll benefit from it... I guess this is more for paintballers so that they can better understand Airsoft.
P.S. I wasn't trying to bash paintball in anyway, I was just stating a few thoughts of mine...
400 bucks! That's crazy! I know it's a good system, but it doesn't have the games to justify spending that much money.
I'll wait until Halo 3 comes out, and then I'll probably give in. I won't be able to see that game and not have it.
Until then, my Xbox and Gamecube are just fine.
