My friends are split between the two so I want other opinions. I'll give you guys some stuff for both. Personally, I don't like either nickname, but oh well.
Treehugger- (My friend Michelle's lovely nickname she gave me)
Ok maybe I do care about the environment A LOT. I just became a vegetarian which has been really easy. Plus I am a freak about recycling. Everyone in my grade is sick of hearing lectures about recycling and how important it is.
Treehitter- (My friend Brad's nickname for me)
I am the worst skiier alive when someone points out everything I could possibly hit to me. (My ski partner was having a blast messing with my head). I hit my head on five different trees, a rock, and a snowbank (which I did do a flip off of only to land on my head).
So which one do you guys think? Am I a treehugger and a treehitter?
I'm practically going insane. My best friend was really scared about a recent experiance, so I tried to get her to go top the guidance counselor.She went and then she went home. I'm so worried about her. It's driving me insane. I tried calling her, but her dad said she was sleeping. I don't think I've been so worried about anything in a long time. grrrrrrr.... I just really hope she's ok.
I started reading this book that my reading teacher recommended for our class. Its really really good, but its extremely hard to read. The pages are big, the print is small, and half of the words are Vietnamese. I really want to keep reading it because its soo good, but I wish the book was completly in English. I still really recommend this book. It is sooooooooo good.
Yesterday I went to branes and Noble to spend my gift card I got for Christmas. I got this awesome new book. Its called Stake That and it's about this girl named Rayne who wants more than anything to become a vampire and instead she becomes a slayer just like Buffy. I didn't finish the book yet, but so far this book is soooo good. i really recommend it.
Yesterday, I spent 10 and 1/2 hours in various medical facilities. First it took 2 1/2 hours just for my regular doctor to tell me to go to the emergency room. At the emergency room, we had to wait just over two hours to be admitted into the pediatric area of the emergency room. There, it took a total of 6 hours for them to diagnose what was really wrong, give me an ultrasound, inflict unessesary painful tests, just to give me a two minute fix at midnight last night. When I got home, it was already like 1230 and i hadnt eatan anything since noon, so i had been starving. I ended up going to bed at after 130.
Yesterday i went on my school's second ski trip of the year. It was so much fun. My two best friends were taking lessons and trying the easier trails because it was their first time, so I decided to hang with some other people. Did we ever nail some sick trails! There was this really difficult black diamond trail that I totally nailed and I still dont know how to stop. lol. My friends, Adam and Brad, were laughing at me when the only time I fell the entire run when I couldn't stop at an intersection. It was still mad fun.
Does anyone know when the glitch that causes someone to be temperaraly (however you spell that) banned wears off. My best friend, was banned for no reason at all and I really want to know when she will be unbanned considering someone said it was just a glitch.
Today, my best friend forever3charmed was banned from tv.com. I am really angry for her because she didn't do anything wrong. Does anyone know why she was banned?
Happy Valentine's Day everybody!! I wish i had a Valentine to celebrate with, but I doin't. But hey Valentine's day is still a great holiday. And my parents gave me Buffy season two for today. Im so happy. HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!!
I hate when tv.com has a glitch and it makes you a level one at 0%. I know that it's only temperary, but I have a lot of submissions to make and you can't submit anything until the thing says your normal level again. grrrr....
Today at exactly one thirty four, the superintendent clled to say school is cancelled for tommorrow. I will be laughing so hard now if it doesn't actually snow. My readint teacher was hilarious. He was all like, "Oh, if you were expecting your papers back, forget it, because the sjow is gonna be good t.m and it higher on my priorities." It was really funny. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!I love Snow days!!!!
Today we had the most boring assembly ever. This naturalist that is also a photagrapher came in to talk to us and show us his pictures. He talked more about how bald he was than the pictures. And my friend kept making the noise from the grudge. Everytime she did that, the science teacher kept glaring at me. Then the guy next me kept rubbing his feet on the floor and made a really loud noise. I guess she thought I was making a disturbance, but at least she didn't give me a lunch detention or anything.
We had to take way to many tests today. It was really annoying. First we had to take a chapter test in Math. Then in reading we took a quiz on the elements of poetry. After that we took a vocab quiz in english. But wait there's more tests. Finally we had to take a stupid Benchmark test in social studies. If u ask me that's wayyy to many tests for one day.
AC DC = love. lol.
Grrrr. I hate when I'm so rude. A lot of times I do something that's really really rude or mean and I don't think about it until after I do it.; And then i feel really bad about it for like a bunch of weeks. And today I was soo mean. Yesterday, when I got home from school I was so bored and just got stuck sitting around my house doing nothing. So I asked my friend to come over right in front of my other friend. And its not like I didnt invite my friend over, but she had orthodontist. grrrr. Now I feel really really bad and I;m so sorry. grrrr I hate when I do really stupid stuff and then decid to think about it afterwards.
Happy Birthday Bob Marley!!!!
Today is Bob Marleys birthday!! In case nobody knows, Bob Marley was a singer that sang about the terrors of racism and civil rights. His songs a free verse poems. Wake up and Live and War are two of his songs that i really like. Bob Marley also sings "I shot the sheriff, but I didn't shoot the deputy."
Grrr. My friends can be so annoying sometimes. Today in reading we were reading a really cool Japanese poem. I was actually liking it, cuz that class is usually very boring. Well, the teacher started to make a small reference to his personal life and my friend blurted my name out, and stared at me. If my teacher didn't know that I had like him before, I think he does now. He turned around and gave me a perplexed look. I was soo embarrassed. My face was broght red, which one of my other friends just had to point out very loudly. Grrrrr. Friends can be soo annoying sometimes.
Today was the most boring day ever. This morning I was soo bored, so my parents decided to make me go to my grandma's house with them. When we were there, they just needed help with thier taxes the whole time. I hate taxes time, cuz everyones really grumpy, and its so boring. So now we came home and I'm supposed to be cleaning my compuiter desk, cuz its like a total mess, but obviously, if I'm online, I decided to take my chore as a friendly suggestion. lol.
Does anyone have any ideea what "subtle, but not too subtle" means when someone is using it to describe someone? Some of my friends were being idiots and they asked someone what he thought of me. One of the things he said was that I was "subtle, but not too subtle." Does anyone know what that is supposed to mean?
Recently in reading class, we started our poetry unit. I love poetry, but I don't usually understand a word of it. Well anyway, we had to write this poem. Our teacher gave us the first two words of each line. Mine went something like this. It's incredibly depresing:
I am gone and left astray
I wonder how long I can hold onto this lie
I hear the jovial voices of those around me
I see them attempting to help
I am gone and left astray
I pretend to be content with this life of mine
I touch the escape from my fate
I feel it drifting away
I cry out of the agony I have suffered
I am gone and left astray
I understand the end may be near
I hope I can escape myself
I try to save myself from what will happen
I dream of seeing happiness again

(I had to change a lot of the lines becuz my poem is now ion the hands of my reading teacher and I don't remember exactly what I siad for most of the last verse.)
Tommorrow is going to be sooo much fun. Me and my two best friends are going over one of their houses. We're going to sing some really cool songs and make videos of us singing them to put on youtube. Its going to be sooo much fun!
