Good evening you all.
It's been awhile. A whole fifteen days. That's awhile. In those fifteen days I have managed to write one hundred and thirty-two blogs on my other blog. I am crazy on that thing. There are some days where I don't blog at all and then other days where I spent an hour writing entry after entry about whateverness comes into my head. I had a meltdown last Sunday I think. Or Monday. Either way. I think I wrote like 50 blogs about and I am barely exaggeratiing.
*Sidenote. I am watching Zoey 101 right now. And Abby from One Tree Hill is on it. You know the girl with diabetes in 316.*
Last blog. Obsessiver texting guy. Gone. Now dating Katie's other cousin who he met the same night as me. He backed off after Katie and Dylan told him to. And then he started dating Becca and they are "in love." They are old enough to be way past that falling in love after two seconds phase. Kat and Kaia. Still being lame. I talk to Kat but not really Kaia. They make me mad. There was a big long a$$ paragraph about me and Henry and our lacking of being friends. We have hung out twice this past week and talked quite a bit. It's like old old old times. He is even back to joking about us getting married. So that's all good.
Lately. I have finals coming up. And as always I am procrastinating. Tonight I am writing my paper. I am. I am. I am. I am. And then hiding out in the library tomorrow and doing chem. And some geography. I am. I have to.
Yesterday I was at my sister's basketball game and one of the mom's was talking to me and found out that I go to my school and she points to Treena and was like her brother goes there. I was like I know. Treena is Henry's sister. And she just started talking like crazy at me about how nice he is and all this stuff and obviously didn't understand when I said I know. I know him. Hahah. It was funny.
TV. One Tree Hill is good. Good. Good. I really like it. Even though it's not really One Tree Hill anymore. Gossip Girl makes me mad. I hate Serena. Vampire Diaries, needs to be on. I can't wait for Glee this week. I fall more and more in love with Puck every episode. And I can't think about anything else.

My
of the Day. Can You Guess Who Does It?Blades of Glory
I’m a lone wolf in a cage
Lost my partner to a lie
Like a bird with broken wings, yeah
It’s impossible to fly
I tried to live for two
But only trust in one
Is there nothing that we can do?
Are we truly done?
Every day we do or die
As we’re sailin’ across the sky
Now we’re comin’ home
On these blades of glory
Settin’ fire to the ice
Is the dream that keeps us alive
Now we’re comin’ home
On these blades of glory
Could this be the end
of our mythic story?
I don’t know what to say
I don’t know where to turn
All I know is if I stay
Ooh this ice it sure can burn
A man who’s scared of truth
Can only trust in lies
A boy who’s scared to dream
Can never touch the sky, oh yeah
Every day we do or die
As we’re sailin’ across the sky
Now we’re comin’ home
On these blades of glory
Settin’ fire to the ice
Is the dream that keeps us alive
Now we’re comin’ home
On these blades of glory
Today is the first chapter
Of our mythic story
We’ll never part
On these blades of glory
And we’ll cross our hearts
On these blades of glory
What do you say
Tonight we celebrate
By going out our way, yeah
O-oo-oh, let’s go all the way, yeah
It’s our calling
Every day we do or die
As we’re sailin’ across the sky
Now we’re comin’ home
On these blades of glory
Settin’ fire to the ice
Is the dream that keeps us alive
Now we’re comin’ home
On these blades of glory
Blades of glory
We’ll go all night
‘Til we finish the story
Now we’re comin’ home
On these blades of glory
The dream is alive
And we’ll never be sorry
Now we’re comin’ home
On these blades of glory
Or
She was more like a beauty queen from a movie scene
I said don't mind, but what do you mean I am the one
Who will dance on the floor in the round
She said I am the one
Who will dance on the floor in the round
She told me her name was Billie Jean as she caused a scene
Then every head turned with eyes that dreamed of being the one
Who will dance on the floor in the round
People always told me be careful what you do
Don't go around breaking young girls' hearts
My mother always told me be careful who you love
Be careful what you do 'cause the lie becomes the truth, yeah
Billie Jean is not my lover
She is just a girl who claims that I am the one
But the kid is not my son
She says I am the one, but the kid is not my son
For forty days and for forty nights the law was on her side
But who can stand when she's in demand, her schemes and her plans
'cause we danced on the floor in the round
So take my strong advice
Just remember to always think twice
Do think twice
She told my baby we danced 'til three And she looked at me, and showed me a photo
My baby cried, his eyes where like mine
Can we dance on the floor in the round
People always told me be careful what you do
Don’t go around breaking young girls’ hearts
But she came and stood right by me
Just to smell her sweet perfume
This happened much too soon
She called me to her room
Billie Jean is not my lover
She is just a girl who claims that I am the one
But the kid is not my son
She says I am the one, but the kid is not my son
Not my son
Billie Jean is not my lover
She is just a girl who claims that I am the one
But the kid is not my son
She says I am the one, but the kid's not my son
Not my son
to listen This is all kinds of music that I am listening to mostly the 70's.

A man walks into a bar and asks the bartender, "If I show you a really good trick, will you give me a free drink?" The bartender considers it, then agrees. The man reaches into his pocket and pulls out a tiny rat. He reaches into his other pocket and pulls out a tiny piano. The rat stretches, cracks his knuckles, and proceeds to play the blues.
After the man finished his drink, he asked the bartender, "If I show you an even better trick, will you give me free drinks for the rest of the evening?" The bartender agrees, thinking that no trick could possibly be better than the first. The man reaches into his pocket and pulls out a tiny rat. He reaches into his other pocket and pulls out a tiny piano. The rat stretches, cracks his knuckles, and proceeds to play the blues. The man reaches into another pocket and pulls out a small bullfrog, who begins to sing along with the rat's music.
While the man is enjoying his beverages, a stranger confronts him and offers him $100,000.00 for the bullfrog. "Sorry," the man replies, "he's not for sale." The stranger increases the offer to $250,000.00 cash up front. "No," he insists, "he's not for sale." The stranger again increases the offer, this time to $500,000.00 cash. The man finally agrees, and turns the frog over to the stranger in exchange for the money.
"Are you insane?" the bartender demanded. "That frog could have been worth millions to you, and you let him go for a mere $500,000!" "Don't worry about it." the man answered. "The frog was really nothing special. You see, the rat's a ventriloquist."

This is my first blog in at least over a year. I am dedicating it to the memory of Megan Meier.
Many of you may have been following the story of Megan Meier. Megan was a 13 year old girl. According to news reports, she has had problems fitting in and had been battling with depression. But things were looking up for Megan. She struck up a friendship with a 16 year old boy named Josh on MySpace. Megan found him attractive.
They never met. "Josh" said that his family had just moved to the area, was home schooled and he did not have a phone number yet. Then one day, "Josh" had turned on her. He told her in a message that she was no good to anybody and that the world would be a better place without her. After receiving the message, Megan had hung herself. This was on October 17, 2006. Just weeks before her 14th birthday.
As it turns out, Josh did not exist. Josh was a hoax created by Lori Drew. Drew is the mother of a classmate of Megan's. Lori created Josh with the motive of gaining Megan's trust, making her think that Josh liked her, only to turn on Megan later. This was all because Drew was trying to get back at Megan for allegedly spreading rumors of her own daughter. I guess it worked.
On November 26, 2008, a Federal jury found Drew guilty on misdemeanor hacking charges. This comes 20 days after Megan would have celebrated her 16th birthday. Drew had violated the terms of agreement for MySpace by creating a false profile with false information. Drew could spend three years in jail.
The charges were a bit of a long shot. There was outrage from the community, and demanded justice. Murder was not an option, as there was no intent for Megan to die. Manslaughter really doesn't fit the bill either. Long shot or not, I was happy to see the verdict. After all, a young girl is dead due to Drew's actions. It would have been bad enough if it was a real 16 year old boy, and did all of this to tease a classmate. But this was a grown woman who resorted to childlike antics. And what kind of lesson did she teach her own daughter? If someone is spreading rumors about you, strike back with mean and immature practices?
Three years for faking a profile seems to be a harsh sentence, but really is a bargain given that there was a death involved. Some worry that this may affect freedom of speech, but I don't think it will. Sure, people are free to say and write anything they wish. But there are still consequences for what you do publish. If you lie, are not charged with Libel or Slander? If someone yells, "Fire!" in a crowded, public building, are you not charged with causing a riot? The freedom of speech does not give us a free pass to publish lies or to cause physical or mental harm. Drew did both of these, and it was right to press for charges against her.
I think the real lesson for the rest of us, is to try to remember how are actions affect others. You never really know how close to the edge a person is. You never know how much of a push may send them over that edge. Perhaps, instead of giving someone a push, we should all look for ways to give out a hand to bring someone off of that edge.
I haven't picked up a person editorship in a long time, so I figured it's a blog-worthy occasion. The ironic thing is, this is one of the first people I submitted trivia for and it took me this long to get 40 points.
The person in mention is Max Kellerman, former host of ESPN's Around the Horn and host of the longe since cancelled I, Max which aired on Fox Sports Net. He currently hosts a radio show on ESPN 1050 in New York.
And a sad note, three years ago today Max's younger brother Sam was found brutally murdered in his LA apartment.
I just posted the news that TNT has renewed The Closer for its fourth season (yee-ha!) and what did I notice but it was post 17,000.
SEVENTEEN THOUSAND POSTS?
Lordy.
okay. so. it's been like almost a year since i last posted a blog on this thing. things have def changed since then; i'm older, wiser, and more mature.
i also read my old blog posts and MY GOD how stupid did i sound. haha. okay well um, yeah tha's it. just wanted to say that i'm not that gay anymore. hah.
kbye.
2 weeks ago, 2 teens living in suburbs died after cops rushed into them; then some of teens who are living in suburbs wanted to take revenge on cops and government, and began to burn cars, then some sports all, and even bus and metro (particularly in Lyon, the city i live in)
but violence in french suburbs is not new
here, differently than in USA, poor people living in suburbs (not in downtown), and there're a lot of reasons pushing teens to prefer violence than education and school
no hope to get a job, because of racial discrimination (the major part of suburb population is muslim), and teens prefer steal, racket, or drugdealing ... and don't want to see cops in the suburbs to arrest them
it's near war between teens and cops, and all these tensions burst with end of october events
today, situation seems to be a little more quiet; but a few cars was burned again last night, particularly in suburbs of Lyon ...
and i still don't see how government has to react to stop this ...
And now I'm going offline, off to Berlin. Yo non parle allemand, ci penso. U mienia solo seventy-five jewro. Jeg tylko spero que festa sera gut.
The questions is: what's a person to do with all this free time on their hands? I mean, some are into repeats, but for those who want new shows with their fave cast, what's a person to do to occupy themself through the drought known as the summer of reruns? And some poor souls are constantly searching for spoilers, just trying to quench their thirst of the unknown.
Fear no more, for I have thought of new and exciting activities for a person to do during this trying time.
1. Reading a book.
You have seen them in stores. There are these buildings that house a ton of them and if you have a certain card, YOU CAN GET THEM FOR FREE (That is called a library, by the way). Pick up one and it will take you away for a while. It will do your brain good.
2. Go to the park and feed birds.
Ok, this sounds moronic. But, it is quite therapeutic. The birds always look for food and you probably have some old bread in your house (and NOT green molded bread. Then, you would be killing the bird and then you would be trying to watch Dr. Phil to handle your guilt, which negates the idea of alternate activities to watching TV). I always seem to relax while doing this. Plus, my 2 kids get a hoot out of it and it actually keeps them our of trouble for a little while. Besides, you are outdoors. Fresh air always does a body good.
3. Buying school supplies.
Ok, now I sound like the character in that movie "You Got Mail". But every year when August rolls around, I go buy notebooks and pens. I am also a part time writer whenever I can find the chance, so these are essential supplies for me. But there is something about fresh paper and pens. Also, trying writing a letter to a friend the old fashioned way.
4. Taking a walk.
I know you have heard about this one. You leave your house and walk. That's it, not rocket science. I am sure there are places you would like to go - the park, shopping, a friend's house to have some interesting conversation. Pick one and go today!
5. Blowing bubbles.
Another great activity. Bubbles use cost about 50 cents (cheap, right!) and last forever (unless you have 2 kids like myself who will not go inside until the jar is empty!) And if you are really cheap, you can use dishwashing liquid and mix with water and, voila! Now if you don't have dishwashing liquid, then that would be a problem.
Well, here you have it. I have tried to offer up some suggestions as how to make this inevitable time pass for many of you. Maybe some of you will take up my advise, maybe some of you will create your own ideas.
And maybe a 6'4 Croatian will come to my door in an Aston Marton.
The only 2 drawbacks I would give to the show is that if so many villans know how capable MacGyver is at what he does...why do they not just kill him when they capture him instead of tying him or locking him up? And the second is that I can always predict that everything will work out by the end of the episode. Those are the two reasons why I would rate it at about 8.7
it says im only 14, but im 16! i want it changed
