Falling back onto the face of the Earth

Sounds painful huh? Not so much actually. Just difficult

So.....umm....yeah. I totally fell off the face of the planet there. It's really hard to catch up on the forums, but I am working on it. I missed everyone so much!! Life just gets the best of you sometimes I guess. I know my life isn't bad, actually it's pretty blessed and a lot of people have it much harder off, but I had to mope and learn to cope for a while. Going from living on your own to back with your parents is brutal no matter how much you love them. Also, ending a 5 year relationship is all sorts of drama. The good news is that life is good again. Figured out a routine that works with the 'rents, got over my ex, in a relationship with a guy who totally treats me like a Princess, taking bellydance class again (should have some pictures in the near future), and my Sister is home for the summer.

What has everyone else been up to??? I need some details!! lol actually, I will probably go through and read people's blogs, but if you want to drop me a line and update me it would be nice too.

Miss you all and hope to talk to you soon!

Undeprived

So it seems like everytime I write a blog lately, I'm going somewhere or coming back from a trip. To keep up with this, I'm back on the internet after a horrible 3 weeks away from it. I've arrived in Alberta safe and mostly sound. Not sure about my sanity, but then again I never really have been. So after packing, driving for 5 days, unpacking, fights with internet and phone providers (in both locations), I've come to verify 2 conclusions of mine from previous experience: 1. Moving bites the big one. Seriously. 2. Canada is a freaking huge country with a whole lot of open and unpopulated space that takes forever to drive across and there's not always a gas station or 24 hour store when you need one. All in all, I don't recommend moving about 3800km or 2400 miles (give or take).

Moving

I hate moving, but here I am, getting ready to move half way across the country again. Oh, and I'm driving the whole way. I probably won't have much internet access for 2 weeks.

I'll miss you guys!

Firefly fan girl freak-out

I suppose I should start with: I'm the fan-girl that freaked-out. Didn't think I would, but at least it wasn't out loud. I didn't embarass myself, but I could barely get words out. I think I only managed to say "Can I get a picture?" when I met both Morena Baccarin and Christina Hendricks at the same time (They were on Firefly for those who don't know the names). I was at the Sci-fi convention in Toronto, and I knew Morena was scheduled to be there, but Christina was a suprise . I got their autographs and I got my picture taken with both of them...it's on my cell phone though, so I can't download it onto the computer and it's not great quality. And they both thought my chinese purse was cute, which made me squeal in my head. They're both so beautiful in person, and they are really nice. I just can't wait for the intimate and interactive tomorrow. Also, I have to try to meet Juilet Landau (Drusilla from Buffy and Angel), and Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia). Must find time to track down an Angel puppet too. They're sooo cute.

I'm back!

Hi all!

I'm back in Ontario once again and my lungs are still adjusting to the smog. *cough* I sound like I have asthma. Anyway...I had a blast on my week off. I had 2 birthday parties, which was great, spent time with friends and family, and ingested more alcohol in 2 nights than I have all year thanks to the buttons I got from my cousin ("Today's my birthday" and "It's my birthday, wanna spank me?"). Turns out people love to buy you drinks on your birthday. Who knew?  I didn't even mind that everyone kept telling me that I'm a quarter century old. It just sounds worse that way, but meh, I was having too much fun.

I wish I could perfect a way to transport these to you, but pie is very fragile.

Take your pick and have a slice. There's chicken and veg, beef and veg, beef, salmon and potato, sheppard's, and chicken sheppards. And for dessert there's lemon merangue, blueberry, chocolate cream, cocount cream, and banana cream. Oh, and pumpkin for Dani cause I promised her a piece. Ice cream and cupcakes are to the side.

Talk to you all soon.
