So I pre-ordered the 2010 Merlin Calendar a couple of weeks ago and then the postal strikes were announced. I was worried that it wasn't gonna turn up for ages but then "Hey Presto!" it was here when I got home from work on Thursday!

It's very pretty, lots of nice pics and bright colours. Lookit:

My favourite month has to be March, cause it features the lovely Colin Morgan, the rather dashing Santiago Cabrera and the utterly gorgeous Bradley James:

Today I am thinking of Michael Jackson and his family and friends.

Whatever you may have thought of him as a person, whatever questionable choices he may have made at times, his impact and influence in the world of music cannot be denied.

Rest In Peace Michael, you will live on forever in the incredible music you gave to the world.

I just..I don't really know where to start. 4 years I've invested in "Prison Break". 4 years of watching and hoping and learning to love these characters and then they end it like that.

Up until those last 4 mins of the show, I'd been loving it. Characters coming back and Michael finding out that Sara's pregnant and then Kellerman... And then the end came and ruined all that.

Now instead of celebrating the end of a fantastic show and congratulating all involved, all I feel is anger, disappointment and sadness. What they did to Michael has forever tarnished a once great show for me.

In these bleak times, I NEED happy endings in shows. Why is that Writers seem so adverse to that? Why is it that they nearly ALWAYS seem to go for the lazy option of killing someone off?

WHAT'S SO WRONG WITH EVERYONE LIVING HAPPILY EVER AFTER FOR A CHANGE?

It really makes me question whether these ppl give a damn about the fans cause they just seem to do whatever the hell they want anyway. Why do we even bother watching?

I've not been this mad over a death in a show since they killed Marian in Robin Hood last year.

I really don't what else to say right now, I'm just so disappointed.

Yes, as just about all Backstreet fans will now know, Howie's wife Leigh gave birth yesterday to a healthy baby boy (a month early!).

I'd just like to offer them my sincere congratulations on behalf of my self and BSB fans everywhere.

Now that there are 3 Backstreet Children in the world, we nearly have enough for "Backstreet: The Next Generation"! LOL

Hello all!

Now EVERYONE who lives here in the UK will know exactly what I'm talking about when I say that it's been one hell of a snowy week this week! I don't think I've seen so much fuss over snow for quite some time.

Now I realise that it's caused chaos for many and not everyone's enjoyed the experience but personally I've loved having all the white stuff around, particularly as I've been on holiday from work this week so I have been able to make the most of it!

Whilst sadly I've not been sledging (boo!) I did get to have a snowball fight and my mum built a lovely snowman which we called "Fred" (don't ask me why, I have no idea where that name came from!). Plus I've also played out in the snow with our two cats who find the whole snow experience both bewildering and fun.

Today, is a special day for fans of the Backstreet Boys.

Today, on the 28th of January, in 1980, one Nickolas Gene Carter was born.

So in honour of the occassion, and cause I love him to pieces, I've decided to write this short blog to wish Nick a very Happy 29th Birthday from me and all his fans all over the world!

Thankyou for your music, your passion, your dedication, your love, and your quintessential "Nick moments"! Thankyou for always being able to make me smile and laugh. Thankyou for being you. Never forget how special and how inspirational you are. We love you.

So these are rather late as my Birthday was last month but I just thought I'd share some pics of my Birthday cake. It was a "Supernatural" themed one. It was very simple but I liked it and it tasted great!

So I've just read that The Backstreet Boys had to cancel their show last night cause my poor Nick Carter was really sick. Now they wouldn't cancel a show lightly so he really must have been bad.

Apparently he had a fever of 103!!!! The Doctor strongly advised him not to fly or perform yesterday and he had to be taken to the ER for fluids and antibiotics.

So I just wanted to say that I hope he gets better soon. Nick has been so amazing with his fans this year and has been working so hard for ages without a rest.

TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF NICK AND REMEMBER THAT ALL YOUR FANS, INCLUDING MYSELF, LOVE YOU LOADS AND WANT YOU TO BE OK.

So I just realised that yesterday was my 2nd anniversary here at TV.COM.

Has it really been 2 years?

WOW!

I know that I've not really been around as much during this 2nd year and I don't tend to post very often in the threads as I now spend quite alot of time on a few other sites but I want you all to know that I'm still extremely glad that I'm a part of the TV.COM family.

I've met some truely wonderful and fantastic people here and I'm very proud to call you all my friends. I could list the names of everyone here that means something to me but we'd be here a while, so I'm just gonna take this opportunity to thankyou all as a group and give each and every one of you a HUGE hug and tell you all that I love you!

I'm quite pleased by most of this, the only bit that freaks me out is the 8 Kids part!

I went to see The Backstreet Boys in concert on Thursday Night (yes I'm a 25 year old BSB fan) and OMG, it was amazing!

I can honestly say that out of all the Backstreet Boys Concerts I've been to, this "Unbreakable" one was by far the best. I was only 8 Rows from the front so I had a really great view of the guys. From the moment it started to the moment it finished, Brian, Nick, AJ and Howie were on top form. I sang and danced along to all the songs. They had a really great mix of stuff off the new album and also plenty of original BSB hits. Their own individual solo performances were brilliant as well and gave the show a nice extra element.

The whole show was unbelievable but here's just a few of the standout highlights:

The Opening - They started the show with "Larger Than Life" and a Boxing theme, which got the crowd going straight-away!

Nick On Drums - Oh my god can he play them well, even if he was wearing a dorky blue safety helmet!

AJ's Solo performance - All 4 guys rocked in their individual performances but AJ really stood out for me, he was fantastic!

The Hat Routine - They did this during "All I have To give", very smooth indeed.

Funny moments - AJ chucking first Water at the rows in front of us and then his water bottle; Howie playfully hitting Nick in the stomach area during one of the perfomances, causing Nick to double over with laughter and almost unable to sing his part; Nick climbing down off stage and then getting stuck!

Plus many many more things. Basically the whole concert was a highlight, there wasn't one bad moment in it!

I left feeling the happiest I've felt in ages and both my mum and myself said straightaway how we wished we could go again.

It was one of the most wonderful experiences of my life.

Oh and I'm completely smitten with Nick again

Hey all,

I just realised that although I've sorta been around in the Threads, I haven't yet given you an update on the whole "Do I have Glandular Fever?" thing so...

Well I went back to the Doctors the other week after my Blood test and the good news is I DON'T HAVE GLANDULAR FEVER! Plus my sore throat is gone!

WOOHOO!

Bad news? The Doctor now seems to think that the constant tightness and pain in my head and my neck is Muscle Tension due to Stress.

Anyway, she's given my some relaxation exercises to do and I've had this week off work (I go back tomorrow) and so far I seem to be doing better. So, keep your fingers crossed!

So it snowed on Sunday here in the UK.

I woke up early in the morning and looked out the window to see real, proper snow!

It hasn't snowed like that where I live in quite a while and it cheered me up no end. I mean, ok, it was all gone by early afternoon but still...

Glandular Fever.

Yep it's true, I might.

As some of you are aware, I've been ill with some sort of Virus for the last 6 to 7 weeks now and it's just not going. Well I went to the Doctors yesterday, for the THIRD TIME and saw a different Doctor who says that she thinks I may have Glandular Fever. I'm not so sure but anyway...

She took a swab from the back of my throat and I went for a Blood Test today. I have to go back to the Doctors on Wednesday to find out the results.

*sigh*

I really don't know what I want the results to be, to be honest. On the one hand, if it's Glandular Fever then at least I'll know what I have and can work on getting better but if it is GF, then it can last for ages and who knows when it will go.

Oh well, not much I can do really until I get my results next week so... I just really wanted to let you guys know and kinda explain why I've not been around here OR on MSN as much lately.
