Actually finished it last week but been busy with other stuff to post this. After 3 months, 70 hours of long and grueling gameplay, and multiple fake endings, I finally completed it with the True Ending! Just in time for Persona 1 for the PSP to come out. Already got it pre-ordered, along with Demon Soul for PS3.
So now I've finished Persona 3 and 4, going to work on SMT: Nocturne until Persona 1 arrives. If you have even the slightest interest in JRPGs or RPGs in general, give the Persona games a try. Evenif you hate RPGs try it. I despised RPGs, the only one I ever really got into was Fallout 3 and KOTOR.The Persona gamesare long but easily some of the best games I've played, right behind Metal Gear Solid series. It even surpasses MGS in some ways I feel. Not going to write a review on it as I don't feel I could without spoiling a lot of key things.
For those of you who have no idea what Persona is, Giant Bomb has been running a Persona 4 Edurance Run for the past couple of months and are almost finished. If you are bored watch a few episodes (watch as early as possible to avoid lots of spoilers), it shows the gameplay and is pretty funny.

Okay, one of my favorite shows on the Disney Channel when I do watch it is The Replacements. Frankly, I'm just a huge fan of the humor, the plots and well...the animation! Atleast, I was... That is until someone at Disney decided to pull an animations facelift with the show!! Just like AD:JL, The Replacements will premiere season 2 on March 10th with an all new style.
It's soooo hideous! I can understand if they're trying to make Todd and Riley look older but there is just no need for what they've done. Tod looks like he's much older now. Honestly, the animation *which some condemned for not being too good from the get go* is horrible. I'm just praying the quality of the show doesn't go downhill with it. It seems to me that they are attempting to appeal to a larger audience, but personally I don't get the point.
What sucks is...I saw it coming... At the end of season one, the episodes like London Calling and Clueless started having darker paints used on them. SOMETHING I'VE ALWAYS DESPISED ABOUT DISNEY: somehow I think that they equate darker colors for either maturity or better quality. Just look at Kim Possible. The further the show progressed, the darker the colors became. It really really bothers me.
Oh well, I can forgive animation *as I did with AD:JL-which in my opninion actually worked although it could have been tweaked just a lil bit more...* so long as the show itself doesn't fall apart. From what I've heard, the show is going to be actually taking a sitcom route. I think they started trying that with TENS too, but it never fully developed. What I mean is, before, The Replacements was just a fun shtick to watch when you needed a laugh but not a complex plot to follow from one episode to the next. There was no fear of missing whether or not Jake and Rose had a moment. There was no fear of wondering if Ron would ever become a great boyfriend for Kim, etc. It was just funny 15 minutes at a time (or 30 for two episodes) for a good dose of entertainment.
But now, there will be 30 minute segments which further pushes me in my theory. Basically, I think they're going to turn The Replacements into a show that one can follow and take devoted interest in, root for characters or plotlines, etc. Okay, so I'm torn about this if it does turn into that. Why am I torn? Well, I love the show as it was in season 1, so simple. But at the same time, I love writing fanfiction for it, so I would definitely love to see more development. I especially want to know more about how Dick and K met, how they came to want to adopt, if there was a reason why Conrad chose them specifically, etc. So I can't deny that this really gets my attention. Plus, I think it's hilarious that Buzz has become more a part of the group and would love to see some development on his part...the same with Jacobo. In fact, I've always been a fan of the Riley/Jacobo pairing and alright with the Riley/Buzz pairing. I guess Johnny Hitswell just annoys me a little too much. And he's not developed nearly well enough to change that...so, unless they do...
I also hope that nobody changes voice wise. That includes all characters including Sierra and Sheldon! Seriously, I hate it when voices change. The only one that could change to an actual boy would be Jacobo. He is currently voiced by overused but extremely talented Candi Milo. And, if you're a fan of Candi the voice can be irksome and not in a good way. Basically, too many times when I hear Jacobo, I immediately think of Candi's work as Dr. Wakeman on My Life as a Teenage Robot. It's just so very similar and it takes away from the character in my opinion. However, that's the only change! I love all of the other voices, and changes would just ruin it! And I especially hope they don't change Taksumi's voice! I'm okay with them ridding her of the armor, but please don't change her voice. That would just ruin it for me. I'm also a fan of Todd/Taksumi
Alright, I guess that's enough rambling on The Replacements. I'll reserve actual judgement until March 10th...However, until then, my apprehension will remain.
I know I havent been on for a while and no Im not dead if any of you thought that at all. Ive just been busy with school and trying to keep my grade up. But whats the point Im going to summer school again anyway for biology probably (which btw I hate that subject with a passion). Anyway I got Burnout Paradise and it KICKS ASS!!! I like the new free roam feature, it gives the game more atomsphere if that makes any sense. You get to roam the city, crash into stuff, discover super jumps (really fun), find shortcuts for later use and just have fun. I havent played the game online yet but if any of you have the game feel free to send an invite and we can crash into stuff. OK thats all I have to say right now but Ill keep you guys up to date, if any of you even care.

Yes, it seems..... not good, but the lyrics are really deep, as is the rest of her new album Kala (which you should buy/steal/illegally download this instant). MTV has the audacity to actually edit the gun sounds, even worse than the David Letterman edit.
If this network is afraid the air a harmless video with gun sounds, yet can air a show that has lesbians making out, and pretty much having simulated sex, which can be seen at 1.pm in the afternoon, perfect for the kids!
So if MTV won't air this, but they happily air pretty much softcore porn on Saturday mornings and The Hills, then I have no hope for them. (not that I had much hope for them anyway.)

First off, let me start by saying...WOW. I haven't blogged in literally a year. My last blog said that I was 13 and in the 8th grade, lol! I'm a freshman in High School now and I'm 14 now, so yeah, it's definitely been a long time. So today's the 20th of December 2007, and Christmas is in five days! Wow, I feel like the school year has flown by. I feel like it was just Halloween yesterday! Anyways, I can't believe I haven't blogged in a year...I've been on as much as I can, but nowhere near as much I used to be. I try to get one once a week, if not however, I'm one at least once every two weeks. But what I really want to say is... WHAT'S UP EVERYONE!? I miss all my friends over here at TV.com and one question that's been on my mind is...Do I still have the most forum posts on the whole site? Lol!
Well, onto my first announcement in this blog. I've got a new editorship! I just realized that when I did get this editorship, that there is already a profile for the same person. I was slightly confused, because there is already an editor for the other profile of this person. But what the hey, I still got the editorship! Ladies and Gentlemen...drumroll please!

Right...uh...well my editorship is for the lovely... Olesya Rulin! She is very well known for playing Kelsi Nielsen, aka the "playmaker" in High School Musical and High School Musical 2. She's beautiful and is a talented actress who also starred in the film Major Movie Star along with the one and only, Jessica Simpson! Here's a gorgeous picture of her!
So I'm really happy about that even though I'm the editor of the second profile for her, lol! Now, onto my second announcement...I am now a new Trusted User for a gorgeous boy! He's not very well known because he only has a small role on a short Disney Channel show, but he is a very talented actor! Not only that, he has an AMAZING voice and he writes his own lyrics for the songs he sings. You can currently find him playing Danny on As The Bell Rings. You might notice that I color-coordinated this blog to be Christmasy, and you're right, I did, lol! I'm just so excited for Christmas this year. I have a Wii on my list, and I probably won't get it because it's sold out EVERYWHERE! But I also have a bunch of giftcards to Target, Abercrombie and Fitch, Hollister, American Eagle, Aeropostale, Juicy Couture and places like that. That's pretty much all that's on my list really, but I'm just excited to be out of school for a couple weeks!
What's on everybody's Christmas List? And before I forget, Happy Holidays! Also, just thought I'd give a little update on my book that I've been writing...it's now fifty-two pages and definitely a lot more edited and improved since the last time I blogged! Because of recent events involving the firing of Jeff, i have decided to boycott CNet, and its sub-sites GS/GameFaqs/Tv.com/etc... and Eidos.
So am canceling my account here, removing my reviews/images, and more or less leaving the site. It will take me a little time to make sure that i have everything, but once i do, i won't be returning here.

Well all in all it was a pretty uneventful day. Not bad not good. Pretty boring. Nothing much happened cause of course it's the first day. My schedule has changed a bit from when I made a blog post about it. I couldn't take Calculus BC AP because they gave me German 4 AP that same period. G4 could be 1st but I can't have it then because I have band. So anyways I was left with having to take the less challenging AB. Also I don't have English 4 Dual Credit due to not registering. And they didn't give me Macroeconomics AP for some reason. But I don't care because I ended up getting a teacher that I've heard good things about. So my classes follow as Band, Statistics AP, Calculus AB AP, Lunch, German 4 AP, Economics, English 4, Off period. I have the same teacher for Statistics and Calculus so I don't have to move during the passing period
. I had that same teacher sophomore and junior year. I'm happy since he's one of my favorite teachers. Although the German teacher wants my friend and I to switch to 2nd or 3rd so we can have it with another German 4 student who has it 1st. I want to since we have the class with idiot German 2 students but then I don't want to lose my math teacher. Conflcts, grrr. Have lunch with my best friend so that's great. As for the off period. We had to go through some stuff before leaving, took long so my dad left. He was supposed to pick me up to eat then bring me back for band practice. Took a while to get ahold of him and then I waited for him somewhere's where he wasn't so I waited long than I should have. He had to bring me food since time constraints.
During band practic we were practicing a visual. At one point we bring our instruments up quickly into playing position. Well earlier that day I used slide oil on my trombone. Something I never do so it doesn't move smoothly. I could swing it around and the slide would stay. So I forgot about that so I didn't have the slide locked and wasn't holding it. So of course it flew off and almost hit someone. Needless to say I made a fool of myself and everyone was laughing.
I was wondering if anyone liked my new banner, and if not if they could tell me how I could improve it.

Well, after months of hoping, months of hyping, and weeks of hyperventilating, the sequel to my favorite game of all time is finally here. Despite getting mixed reviews, Phoenix Wright 2 is still an amazing game that manages to use the witty dialogue of the first game and add on to the compelling story. Here are my impressions of the first two cases... keep in mind I'm not all the way through Case
Warning major plot points and spoilers of the first tow cases lie within!
The first case was good. Phoenix getting hit on the head and getting amnesia was kinda lame... but it added allot to the plot since you had to resolve the case using information about Phoenix's reactions. It made for an interesting case that was quite fun. I was shocked when Maya showed up since I didn't expect the next case to be a flashback. It does take away allot from the next case since you know that Maya turns out fine, especially since AA depends allot on suspense, even if you always know that things will turn out alright in the end.
The new characters are a mixed bunch. Some good, some lame. Pearl is definitely he standout so far. She manages to be adorable without seeming corny, and is truly cute to watch. Her mother is also a good character, not really note worthy, but she has her moments.
The other characters are so good. The girl int he first case wasn't really the great, and it didn't seem realistic that she would be so happy when she was on trial, especial if her lover was just killed. Ine Miney is without a doubt the most annoying of the bunch. Her dialogue stretches on much longer than it should and the joke sarts getting old really fast. Fransiska is surprisingly stale. Granted not much has been shown about her yet, but even then she lacks the fierceness that made her father and Edgeworth so intimidating. She objects every now and then, but its nothing really to hard, and her arguments are easily shot down. I know that more will be shown soon, and I'm sure it will give her a better background, but she should still seem at least capable of giving you a challenge. Part of what made the first game so great was the tense action that aways felt like you were one misstep from a guilty verdict. Phoenix is the ultimate underdog hero, and taking that away makes things allot less exiting.
The character development thus far has been amazing. We get to hear some tidbits of Phoenix's view on the law when he mentions that there aren't any good prosecutors. This shows how much he believes in his clients innocents, but it also shows his naivete. Edgworth made similar statements regarding prosecutors motives in the last game. Its interesting to see the contrast between the two. Phoenix also showed his soft side when he asked Pearl to channel Mia so she would have to see her mother go against Maya. It was a nice look into Phoenix's compassion that's rarely seen.
Mia got allot of time so far. ts nice to see her back in action since she had so little to do in the first game. There were some touching moments where we got to see some of Mia's personality such as when she mentions that she misses Maya, or when she lies to try and protect her aunt. Its nice to see her tag team with Phoenix in court. Once again, this takes away from the underdog feel, but its still cool to see, if only for a while.
The mention of (major spoilers) Edgeworth's death was a shocker. I had heard a little about it before, but I had no idea it would be so soon. After Case 5, and that note he left, it makes me wonder if he didn't..... Well, I'm sure it'll be explained soon enough. Or maybe in that Fourth Case every one's talking about.
Overall, Phoenix Wright 2 is amazing. It's sad they didn't do much with the actual game play, but I'm willing to wait till Ace Attorney 4 for that. Now off to play some more....
Happppppy New Year all! I hope everyone partied hard last night and was able to stay awake for the New Year, because I did and it was pretty sweeet!
Also, I would like to say Happy be-lated Christmas to all. I hope everyone had a great one of those too! Mine was pretty dead but, what can you do about it.

Well not much going on recently however i have a bit of spare cash so have decided that now is the time to get those last few GBA games i missed out on. The two Legend of Zelda GBA games, Mario Party Advance and a few others. I must say that since the day i bought the GBA it has been nothing more then amazingly great fun and will for me be the one of the greatest gaming devices ever. Im glad that the DS has the GBA slot as it allows people who do not have the GBA to experience some amazing games. Not long now till Christmas and hopefully my Wii and i am really looking forward to playing it.
However, the new Wii will mean saying goodbye to the GameCube which will be sad. People could debate who won the last gen for days but to be honest i feel that we all won. By this i mean the Nintendo fans got what they wanted, the Microsoft fans got what they wanted and the Sony fans to. Being this age games played a suprising part in my life and helped me make friends and as much as i hated the PS2 i must admit it kept us all happy on those cold nights in my friends loft. I was the only one of my friends that bought the GameCube and i really do think they missed out on some amazing games and i do hope that they get Wii's and are able to pick up these modern classics. The Xbox also gave me some good times, i still remember getting it that christmas and enjoying the criminally underrated Oddworld: Munchs Oddysee. All in all last gen was my gen the one i will remember the way people look back at the old Nintendo vs Sega 16 bit gen with such fondness.
By the way i have just rated my entire collection, yup i was bored.
