Holy crap, you guys. I got a ton of stuff. Along with the slightly fail things everyone gets but no one really wants, like clothes, I got this:
-The Fame Monster, Lady Gaga CD (from MY GRANDMA, can you believe that?
)
-This really cool pair of old school headphones (that immediately sent the cosplay wheels reeling out of control in my mind xD)
-Final Fantasy Advent Children on UMD (because I'd been looking for it FOREVER and couldn't find it)
-Mass Effect
-Dissidia Final Fantasy
-Assassin's Creed II
I went out to our new GS and bought the last four today. I REALLY wanted AC 2. I told myself that even if I didn't get anything else, I'd get that for sure.
And they were having a sale, I guess... or maybe it's like that all the time, I dunno. ANYWAY, it was a buy two get one free thing, so I went ahead and got AC 2 used, perhaps against my better judgement, so I could get a free game (which wound up being Mass Effect, and I've already been kicking myself for not getting KH 358/2, I totally didn't think about that.).
Since the game's only been out a month, I figure my disc can't be in too bad of condition. And all three of the games I got have their original cases, which I always like. I don't really like GS's generic cases. Of the three, I've only started playing Dissidia so far. But man, the opening CG BLEW MY MIND.
From my long journey of plundering and such. (Ok no more pirate talk)
-50 Dollar Gamestop Gift Card
-2 pairs South Pole Jeans (One Black and One Blue)
-Green Converse Hightops
-A Green Timberland jacket
-Mirror's Edge Through Steam for 5 dollars because of the holiday deal
Then the rest of the stuff I got a little bit earlier than X-mas but still are X-mas presents
-Blazblue: CT (Which you already know)
-550w Corsair Power Supply
-ATI Radeon HD 5750 (1GB) Video Card
Ill continue my 2009 list tomorrow. Actually il probably do multiple categories.
So what did I get for Christmas?

Games:
- Uncharted 2
- Tekken 6
- Brutal Legend
Books:
- Fullmetal Alchemist Volume 16 and 17
- Death Note L Change the World

I got a pack of San Miguel's off my parents and yes they will go down pretty quick sooner or later.

I've also got this wicked Manga bag as well, looks really cool.
My Christmas dinner went ok, my Grandad was still abit upset since my Grandmother passed away back in September
. My sister did bring her Wii down stairs and almost everyone in my family enjoyed themselves because we've been playing alot of Wii Sports and Mario and Sonic at the Olympics as well.
Me and my sister also had a few random laughs becuase my mother had those Sticky Window letters saying "Happy Christmas" and "Let It Snow", we both came up with Rude and random funny words and yes there was alot of sticky finger prints all over the mirror and window ![]()
Even Sackboy had his own mini Christmas, drinking Scotch Wisky mixed with Irn Bru.

This was a random photo I took ![]()
So how was everyone esle's Christmas then?
Just thought I would get on and wish everyone a Merry Christmas& a Happy New Year.
![]()
First off, Merry Belated Christmas
I can't believe the holiday is already over as I type this. I really enjoyed it this year, Christmas Eve was the first time we stayed home, nice change of pace, had my parents' best friends over and my aunt and cousins so it was good.
Christmas Day was a blast as usual, went to my grandparents, my other cousins were there, and we continued our 5 year tradition of playing Mario Kart: Double Dash and Mario Party 4
Lots of laughs and crazy antics ensued as usual.
So, this is what I got aside from money and some clothes:
- 64GB iPod Touch
- Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus for PSP
- Demon's Souls for PS3 (obviously opened this badboy up in October
) - The complete series of Claymore on DVD *
* - The second season of The Big Bang Theory
- 1/100 scale model of Kyrios Gundam from Gundam 00 (finally)
- $100 iTunes gift card
- 2010 calendar (as usual lol, not that I'm complaining
)
Mommy and Daddy did a good job this year ![]()
Oh and I got a little bottle of whiskey from my uncle that clears your sinus cavity in two seconds with one sip
"Smooth" my ass -_-
--------------------------
Ok, now for the Christmas Village my grandfather and I put up every year. Note that he couldn't find the box with most of the trees so it looks unfinished, to me and the pics are not final, I will get better ones since the entire village lights up too, I hope you guys still like it as of now, again I'll get better pics soon ![]()
Yeah I know it's a little late, but it's still technically Christmas.
Mine was pretty good. I got Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, three of the Die Hard movies, the movie The Big Lebowski, and a new iPod.
I hope everyone else had a great Christmas this year.
Since it's the season of giving, I thought I would just share some of these videos here.

So, like Thanksgiving, we hung out with my aunty, uncle, and my two cousins today. And HOLY CRAP. We seriously played Wii for5 hours today. XD
"Christmas is a day with the family!" TRUE DAT! We played Wii Sports on and off all day, along with Donkey Kong Country and Mario Bros. 3. It was so funny and cult-like, how we sat around the TV playing all day. It was just hilarious, and we got the old folks to play too (except my dad!).
I also got some of it on video tape, so I will consider putting up some video onto YouTube.
~~~
Anyway, I got some cool gifts from my family.
I got a prayer box bracelet, a little wallety phone purse, and $20 from the aunty.
Then my bro got me the cell phone, likeI blogged about at the start of the month, but he said he will buy me a Wii or PS3 card too, which is being too generous now.
My mom and dad bought me Death Note Season 1.
Now I have all DN dvds except for RE:light 2 and the L Saves the World live actionmovie or whatever. My parents also got me Bleach Season 2 part 1, Harry Potter 6 dvd/blu-ray/digital copy which she got for like $10
, Apples to Apples (one of the BEST card games you will ever play if you haven;t!), and I got the Zhu Zhu Pet and Snuggie I mentioned yesterday.
What made me happiest, actually, that out of my six years of collecting manga books... my mom actually bought me MANGA for the FIRST TIME in my life for a Christmas/special event present. I was so happy that she actually considered going to Borders and getting me manga.
Soooo, she got me a $5 gift card and these manga:
and omg... Hana-Kimi 4 is NEVER in the book store and she got it for me.
I was actually just at Borders three days ago and I was looking at the books and thinking, "OMGWTF BOOK 4 IS NEVER HERE" What a coinkadink. ![]()
~~~
Anyway, these are the gifts I got from my family. I'm pleased with what they got me this year. Last year I got my PS3, but I'm just as happy this year.
It was a heck of a lot of fun, and my parents and brother really liked what I got them. It's kind of sad in a funny way, but we pretty much bought each other all DVDs this year. (O.o)
Merry Christmas everybody!
Here's what I got for Christmas:
> An old survival knife from my uncle.
> PSP headset
> A storage case for my PSP
> A Logitec PlayGear Amp portable stereo for my PSP.
> Jean Shepard's "In God We Trust, All Others Pay Cash" paperback book
> A free pass to tour Dark Horse on the 29th.
> These two books from Dark Horse...

Don Bluth's The Art of Animation Drawing and Storyboard (both currently out of print and are rare)
> David Bowie's Space Oddity 2-Disc album
> Drawing supplies
> Terminator: Salvation and Star Trek on DVD
> $150 in cash
> An Olympus digital camera
I'm gonna use the $150 on stuff from the PlayStation Store, 'cause my PSP can do that. I hope everyone got what they wanted for Christmas. Merry Christmas to all, and I'll see you on the Dark Side of the Moon...or 2010. Whatever. ![]()
Linky to picture
I also got money, a wallet from a friend and a DS game: The World Ends With You, from myself
What did you get?
Hope you all had a fantastic day with your loved ones I know I did! This is certainly a time we can all get a bit silly and there is no doubt this was one of those days with singing, dancing and me proposing to my cousins gf which he has been with for 4 years...(hey he isn't making a move anytime soon and she was upset lol!)
We have decided to adopt two kids one Maori boy and one Japanese girl. My cousin was (understandably) annoyed but we told him he will live in the spare room, be godfather and teach them to be gamers so hes starting to come around to this crazy plan![]()
Well let's just get down to the presents shall we ![]()
$100 gift card
2 ds games (bangai o spirits, dbz attack of the saiyans)
lamp, towel, sheets, statue, music box, cup
ponyo art book (freaking awesome)
skullcandy earphones
bracelet, necklace
Pretty epic xmas in all
will edit with pics if I can get the site to work ![]()
So it's currently snowing in Texas (gasp!!) and not just in the panhandle where it's no surprise. It's literally been snowing nonstop today, and with temperatures not going above freezing, I get treated to a white Christmas!! ![]()
It's a rarity here, for sure. I'm sure anyone living up north is like "Meh. We get a white EVERYTHING." but you have to understand it's pretty amazing considering that yesterday, it is in the mid 70s and then it drops down to below freezing overnight. That's quite an achievement even for bipolar Texas weather. Ahh well.
Well, that's it for now... here's a pic of my car somewhat covered in snow, it may not be too impressive but the 50+ MPH wind gusts today haven't allowed much to accumulate on my car. The ground is a different story. Anyways, Merry Christmas everyone!!

...... Merry Christmas!!!
With Christmas only 2 days away, Sack Boy
has once again met a horrible and untimely death!!!
Those of you who have followed my blogs for awhile know that earlier this year, my dog, got ahold of the Little Big Planet game case, chewed it up and destroyed the disc. The good people at Play N Trade gave me their store copy so I didn't have to buy it again. Alas, the dog obviously doesn't like Sack Boy and once again has done the evil deed!!! I will not get it replaced this time.
With Christmas soon upon us some of you are probably looking around the house for your gifts and peeking to see
what you are getting. Remember, Santa sees everything you do!!! Also, one year when I did that it was hard for me to have a surprised look when I opened the presents. I just got in trouble last night because I found the cookie hiding place and ate a few. I was not aware that my wife has been counting the cookies!!!
She makes the best homemade cookies,
all German recipes and they will knock your freakin socks off!!! The cookies have now been relocated to a new hiding place and inventory has been taken!!![]()
There is nothing quite like ( in my book anyway) being in Germany during the Christmas season. It is so awesome!!! I always loved going to Nurnburg at Christmas time to the Chriskindlmarkt
So beautiful. Hand crafted Nutcrackers
,
Santa smokers
and of course, Gluhwein to keep you warm!!!
I once drank so much I could have sworn I saw flying pigs!!!
Man, I really miss Germany this time of the year!! ![]()
Don't forget to put out cookies and milk for Santa.
That is all. Oh, and in case I am not back to blog on Christmas Day, well then.... Merry Christmas!!!
Make it a great day!!! ![]()

10. And I have yet to see snow where I live

But Christmas is almost here just 3 more days.....So I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.

Merry Christmas, guys. Have I ever told you how much I love garlic? Because I really do. You know, I.. I downloaded End of Eternity's battle system demo. I just wanted you to know that.
After playing though the demo on both difficulty levels, I must firstly note that the instructions may be hard to read if you don't know Japanese.
Thankfully, it's not full of kanji and uses surprisingly much katakana (not as much as FFXIII, though), so I got the hang of it pretty quick. Anyways, there's also a tutorial trailer available on the Japanese PSN, so you should download that if you have some problems.![]()
The Newcomer version is fairly easy for anyone, though -- the screen practically tells you which buttons to push. Square for target selection, X for attacking. You have a certain amount of attacks to use. Between attacks you also have the chance to push square for special actions, like jumping into the air like a gazelle with 7 guns attached to its horns or launching the enemy high up in the air so you can combo more. You can move freely, and every time you beat a bunch of enemies, you progress to another room, filled with some more enemies. And so on.
Seriously, I can't describe it better -- just go and download it, dammit.
The battle system's a fun change from the usual, and pretty damn cool looking. So yeah, do check it out.
Did any of you follow JUMP Festa? There was some pretty good stuff there. Not only another lot of Vesperia DLC announcements (Raven as Heihachi, Yuri as Mitsurugi, Flynn as Chopin!?) and Last Window (Hotel Dusk 2) or Etrian Odyssey III first screens, but real news as well!
In other words..
The new trailer for FFXIII Versus! Well, more like a teaser. The phrase "Real or Fantasy" lingers on the screen for a second, and then up pops the video. Noctis (main dude) stands by a highway and gets into a vehicle. Then across the screen come phrases "Work in progress" and "Revelation will come next time". Oooo, what revelation!? Also, I hope "next time" doesn't mean E3.. x.x Damn it. That's the trailer for ya, though. You weren't allowed to have cameras in there, so that's why you probably can't find the vid.![]()
In other news! Mistwalker CEO, Final Fantasy creator, Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey producer Hironobu Sakaguchi mentioned in his Mistwalker blog that the new RPG he's been teasing since March 08 will finally see daylight in March 2010!
Or, at least, we'll catch a glimpse of it. Hopefully it won't be another disappointing game, like Blue Dragon or Lost Odyssey. Just sayin'.
Even MORE Square news! Tetsuya Nomura, most known for producing Kingdom Hearts, was interviewed in this week's Famitsu, where he mentioned TWO new titles!
"There's a title that's yet to be shown that's progressing faster than expected," he commented on one. He didn't mention whether it's a new IP, but said: "Development is progressing smoothly. Voice recording has started." About the other, he informed that "It's not totally new, but there's one more more unannounced title. Please look forward to the announcement." How mysterious! ![]()

Anyways, that's the news for ya.
Now, what's been keeping me busy? Well, besides reading books, I finished Braid! The story and ending, just.. wow. Wow! The game was simply awesome. I'll post a special blog about it next time, so please look forward to that. Also, if you've got a tenner to spare, use it on Braid.![]()
Been playing a lot of Disgaea 3, still haven't gotten the Platinum in Katamari Forever.. Luckily, Vagrant Story will come to EUPSN today after all. as sir Ben said!
Oh, speaking of him, I ordered myself a little something that's strangely similar to his avatar.

Cool, huh?
Sure, it might not arrive before new year, but I'll still be in Christmas spirits at the time.
That's my blog, see y'all around and have yourself a MOTHER OF FREUD THAT HURT!! Stop with the orange launcher already!
It's been a very long while since I blogged, not that I haven't had anything to post about. I could post about my doings of the past month but then that would take away from what the purpose of this blog is.

Neko The Kitty is a comic that one of my friends writes, draws and does pretty much everthing.You have to read it, its actually very funny. He started it back in 2002 and since Neko has gained an auidence, though not as large as the likes of vgcats or ctrl, alt, dlt, but I'm just giving a handby helping to try get him more of an audience.
Hope you like!
Just a warning, some of the fillers can be a bit adult and even weird at times.
Just trying to pass the time before I go out for what's hopefully a massive snowball fight today. So just thought as it's nearly the end of the noughties I'd share my thoughts about what's happened in gaming these last ten years, and ask you lot to share what you think were the most important moments in video games from 2000-2009.
Well this decade compromised two console generations: the current HD generation: PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii with the DS, PSP and iPod Touch and before that there was the GameCube, the Xbox, the GBA and most importantly the Sony PlayStation 2.
Technically the consoles came forward in leaps and bounds, you can now play games online against other people over the internet. People may look at that sentence, take it for granted and go so what? But it is actually a massive achievement and a big thing. Of course no console does it like the 360 (at the price of 40 quid a year) and that has proved its strongest point in a time where console owners criticise each other to death.
Internet Browsers and Hard Drives allowing consoles to become more like TY connected computers add lots of value to them, making them more of a full blown Media Centre, and the gateway to HD where (nearly) everything is crystal clear and vibrant in a jump out the screen kinda way. Motion controls, touch screen and on screen camera fiddling (ooo errrr) also gave different ways to play games, and made the Nintendo Wii a smash (in the case of TVs that got broken by hyper kids). Games were marketed towards the more casual audience and everyone seems to be playing now, even if it is on rubbish like Cooking Mama
Hardcore adult gaming has also come forward with games like Bioshock, Manhuntand Mordern Warfare pushing the boundaries.
But let's not forget the generation that came before where we are now, because the last generation which was all about the PS2 was home to some of the greatest games and series' ever.
The Final Fantasy series (gotta mention it) enjoyed what is in my opinion the greatest game ever, went in the world of Online RPGing and challenged you with monsters that have faaaaaaaaaaar too many Hit Points. And Japan recently got the chance to play the newest installment in the series, lucky people.
Sqaure Enix also merged with Disney to let you run around beating up Hades, Jafar and the rest in an attempt to overthrow the eternal daaaaaaaaaaaaarkness. And you loved it, don't lie.
Naughty Dog proved it was the best after losing Crash Bandicoot by creating two incredible franchises: Jak & Daxter and Uncharted, with a blend of action and platforming mixed in with great storytelling and production values, blurring the line between game and hollywood action film. Of course, those who liked shooting people in a less innocent way bought every new GTA and Call Of Duty in droves, and why not? Most of them were great.
Japanese developer Team ICO only released two games but each one was an event. Mario took off into space and Sonic and Crash got progressively worse. Original IPs and ideas were in full flow throughout the years; Mirrors Edge, Okami, LittleBIGplanet, Professor Layton. The list goes on, espescially when you take a lot at all the Indie style downloadable games (which is another big porgression), so if anyone says this decade was about buying GTA, Wii Fit and COD like sheep then they are wrong.
OK so there's some short ramblings, feel free to comment and ramble along and share your thoughts on it.
Happy Xmas Possible Online Perverts ![]()
So, it is snowing nonstop for the next two weeks here in Indiana and I am not too thrilled. It's cold in my house and I am covered in blankets as we speak and I really don't want to do anything. But I won't have to. I was laid off temporarily by my job on Tuesday of last week. They are bringing me back in when the holiday season is over. Hurray for just sitting here and freezing and doing nothing all day. However, it is nice to catch up with you all and write a blog for once. I was going to introduce my newest phone, the HTC Hero.
That's the older version of it. I got the newest version with the Android 1.5 capabilities. It's really neat in my opinion. Though it does have a big update coming soon, to Android 2.1! It was only 99 dollars upon new contract that has everything I need on it. 69 dollars a month is not bad compared to what I was paying last time. Woohoo.. it's a nice phone, and I like it. That's not the main thing about this blog though.
I just thought I would rant about stupid drivers who do not even try to be drivers. These kinds of people upset me because they often wreck and blame it on the other person even though they did all the problems. In such case, my mom was sitting at a red light wanting to turn to the left and in the middle lane. It was dark and the lights were on and the signal was on as well. This was before all the snow came, by the way. Some guy ran into her from behind at full speed (about 30 mph) with his van and didn't even slow down. No skid marks on the road. Her tiny little blue car spun out of control into the area where she was turning and nearly got hit by other cars coming the other way. She almost hit an antique store that was across from her.
He got out and apologized over and over, some onlooker called the police and an ambulance. My mom went into shock and the ambulance had to take her away. My dad arrived on the scene as fast as he could. He realized that the lights were still on and went to talk to the police. The policemen told my dad that the man said that she was sitting there with no lights or turn signals on and he ran right into her because of it. My dad was like, "how do you explain this?" The lights were on. They looked for the skidmarks and there wasn't any. The light was red when my mom was sitting there, so even so, he'd have to stop to turn.
We found out later that he did this before to someone, and sued them and won. Although, he still had to pay the other side money for what happened. So, more than likely, he's going to ride his case if he can make some money off of my mom. She was released from the hospital about 2 days ago and is doing better, but still hurting a lot. She was lucky that she wasn't hurt a whole lot more than she was. Though, she is afraid of what might happen to her from this creep who could be a con artist... Swindling his way through life. My mom was an innocent bystander in this and he could have killed her. Does that even matter anymore to people? Isn't this supposed to be the time of goodwill and peace? I would love that if people weren't so inconsiderate such as that man... All I can say is, what comes around goes around, and he is not winning this one.
Thanks for stopping by and listen to me rant about my job and my mom's accident. But hey, at least I got a brand new phone out of it.
