What kind of games do YOU like?!

Some people can say, that games take a lot of our time and there's is no point in playing them anyway. Of course they would prefer better to be lying drunk in the bushes for a couple of days, but that is not an issue. Different people have different opinions and interests. I prefer to play and enjoy every minute with my best games, but that doesn't necessarily mean, that i don't like to party with my friends and to spend a lot of my time in the beautiful nature, heck, i have time to spend on everything: work, creations, travel, meeting new people (why not to play from time to time?)...

Many games are deserved to be played, it doesn't even matter which genre it is, until it has some really descent story to show to the player. Graphics seems to be a lot for modern players, but i'm an old-fashioned freak, who doesn't care about sprites much (i still play super nintendo games with square people as main characters that fight triangle monsters on a carton paper as a background). But music mean a lot to me, it gives a relevant atmosphere to it: creepy music in the dungeons, battling music in fights, meditative/psychedelic/trance music in mysterious places etc.

I can say i'm a game geek, i tried every genre there is and i liked most of them, but noticed, that the only genre, that can give you enough pleasure with good plot, music and atmosphere are RPG games. What would i do without them, i'd be a different person!

The Crystal Method Electronic-Dance
""
The first time i heard Crystal method it was in the `Fifa 98` PC game as background music. I was crazy about it, i just switched on the game, poped up the volume ind listened to it without playing.
Some time later i lost my game CD and i was disappointed. But i was lucky my friend got some of their records and exactly the same tunes that have played in the game. So i recognised one of my favourite artists very quickly and went to the shop to get as many albums as possible, and i wasn`t disappointed, their records are great. They made a lot of soundtracks for famous movies and movies with their music just looking greater!
Go buy it instantly!

Dead Can Dance Rock/Pop

This band's music is soft and friendly. Takes me to the lost parts of africa, to the depths of jungle or rain forest; either to any arabian countries, and i feel like taking part of traditional dances of a specific arabian country or some feast.
This band created soundtracks for the movies and did a great job. They should stick with Hans Zimmer to mix their abilities and present us some original creations they could make. I look forward to it ;)
Some tracks can be really moving, but most of them are relaxing - meditative like with ambience.

Juno Reactor Electronic-Dance
""
This one is the best for me in all times! I found this music a few years ago and fell in love with it instantly.
Each of the tracks take me to some strange different world (that i try to imagine, of course. And i would like to note, that it's TOO easy to imagine with the music like that - that's what i mostly like about it) - Africa, Asia, Western/Eastern Europe, Arabian lands and even outer space!
Dance, relax, imagine - i can do it all with this music! And it sounds wonderful, all the tracks were ment to be something different.
Thank you, Juno reactor, for suck a wonderful music! I'm waiting for more!

Plastikman Electronic-Dance
""
The good thing about Plastikman compositions is that they really lighten up the desire to put all of your strenght into dancing and keep moving till unable to move at all :) All of the tracks i listened to were a low-frequenced ones with a lot of bass put into it - it's nice to stick a cd in your car's player and drive through the city at night.
The bad thing about it that most of the tracks sound the same and it feels like this music was made by samples glueing program (Not that composer created his own samples).

Shpongle Electronic-Dance
""
This kind of music really helps you imagine things. I like to listen to it when i'm in the nature - beautiful sights and nature sounds combined with this music makes my head pleasurely dizzy.
Either i listen to it when i feel like it's time to relax, throw away your negative thoughts and dive into the "Shpongle" world.
Of course there are some moving tracks - keep them for the time when you feel like it's time to release your energy to the maximum :)
