Yet another 360 bites the dust
Man, I'm beginning to lose track here. But anyone who has read my previous blog posts in regards to the hardware issues with the 360 will know that I will not be getting another one at this point.
I'm not even going to rant & rave, I've done that before & I'm pretty much completely over it at this point. My PS3, Wii & HP Blackbird PC pretty much guarantee that my gaming needs will be more than satisfied without having to worry about subpar hardware & horrible customer service with the 360. Good riddance to bad rubbish...

It's a dangerous trend, one that too many gamers excuse because they like the games on it, and it's sad, honestly. I understand many people have had no issues, and to them I say: consider yourself lucky.
The 360 does have some good games on it, but no game, no game is worth what MS is pulling on consumers. While it's not unheard of for a system to have problems, it's unacceptable that two years after the fact it's still a very large scale problem, one that MS doesn't seem to be in a hurry to fix.
I still have my 360 (#6) and it's working pretty well, save for a scratched to hell FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage disk from a few months ago, but maybe part of the reason it works is because I hardly ever play it. The hardware issues have grown too tiresome for me to deal with anymore.
That, and the fact that I don't like most of the games on the 360 as I'm more of a single player story driven gamer, and thankfully the PS3 has come through big time for gamers like me who enjoy those types of games.
Sorry about yet another 360 dying on you. I completely understand your frustrations and I'm completely behind you on saying F'off to MS. They do not deserve your money, and you, as a paying customer, do not deserve to be treated so poorly. Move on, forget the 360 and get back to enjoying gaming again, rather then saying a prayer every time you turn your 360 on.
This statement may come off fanboyish to some, but it's not. It's just the words of a fed-up consumer who's tired of being screwed time and time again.
We, as paying customers should not have to deal with this, and I, for one, refuse to be taken for a fool. Maybe a few select gamers can't do anything about MS's poor business practices, but we can tell them to F'off and save our good money for good products.
Good luck and sorry for leaving such a long comment on your blog.
The sad thing is, this one didn't even die from the red rings like pretty much every other one has, it just started making Chewbacca noises & basically gouged 3 of my game discs so bad that they became unplayable.
But like I said, the PS3, Wii & my new HP Blackbird desktop are more than enough to satisfy my gaming needs & at least I know they're going to work when I turn them on. I'm actually so over the 360 at this point that I'm not even pissed. It's just one of those things that was beyond my control & I'll be just fine without it.
Here's hoping you all have better luck than I did!
That is part of the reason why I resist to buy a 360, I'd be heated if it broke even once!
ps . i also have a ps3, wii , gaming rig and all the previous consoles but nothing really compares does it?
