Yes..she is!..Alison Krauss's soft husky voice brings that personal touch of hers..to all her songs! :-)
I love listening to her songs..especially "Now that I've found you", "Restless", the popular "When you say nothin' at all"..and last year's CMA award winner (for lyrics).."Whiskey Lulabye" with brad Paisley... :-)
She comes up with great songs time n again.. no wonder..she is one of the Country singers with highest number of Country Music awards to her name... :-)

I've heard Alan Jackson's songs quite foten..but one of my favourite has to be "Monday Morning Church"..such a lovely song..talks about lonliness..in deep meaningful lyrics..("If my heart was empty..like a Monday morning Church..used to be so full of faith..now it only hurts...")..
I also like "Its five O'clock somewhere" and "When somebody loves you"...talented singer...I had read it somewhere that Alan Jackson struggled during his formative years until he found succes in the late 80s and early 90s..I sometimes wonder how success didn't come to him easily..despite being so talented..but I know..that true success n fame stay only when there's talented n hardwork..
I also know that Alan Jackson is a great singer...!

I remember listening to "How did you get that lonely" and "In my hight school" on radio and liked the songs....I thought Blaine Larsen had a ncie full mature voice..must be in his mid-30s or 40s..later on I searched on the net for the aritist..and to my surprise that I found that the singer is a young teenager!
Honestly, his songs especially these two are worth listening..at such a young age he has composed n sung them very well!
Here's hoping more of such great numbers from thi young yet talented Country singer...I'm sure he'll carve a niche for himself soon...I have already told my friends..to atleast take a liten to his songs..
