Hey guys, I just spent a while organizing my stuff on here so it's more accurate to the current me. All reviews were deleted, (But they'll be filled with more, as I've plenty reviews written on other sites that I'll put up here) my game collection is updated and now contains all games that I currently own and all scores for games have been put up that are in my own personal opinion! Also each game in my collection has been scored.
I kept my >2000 posts alone as even though my spelling/grammar was atrocious at the time I'm just going to leave them be! ![]()
Anyways, I'll see ye guys later and g'luck!

Iowa State Cyclones defeated the Universty of Minnesota 14-13 YAY!!!
By winning rather dull Insight Bowl the Cyclones finish 7-6 on the season
and send the Big 10 8th place team how with a losing record of 6-7.
ISU at 4th in the Big 12 Northern Division and Minnesota both entered this game with 6-6 records.
It was broadcast on the NFL channel which is the only reason anyone outside of the stadium was able to watch.
For those who are not familiar - this is American University level Gridiron football.
It does ![]()
I played it until 3am last night ![]()

Oh you won't believe how pissed off I am. Pretty much someone went up to the stockroom in work, went through my bag and took my money and phone. Now this is the first time I ever left my locker unlocked because I didn't have the key and thought just one day. What pisses me off more was the fact that the woman who did it was caught by my store manager trying to steal a top after she was trying to escape through the fire exit in the stockroom. After she was kicked out of the shop it dawned on me that my locker wasn't locked so I quickly ran upstairs and discovered these things missing (luckily she didn't take my DS or iPod). After that I screamed for my manager as I was suddenly enraged and quickly ran out to the shopping centre security, who promptly took me up to the CCTV room called the police and went about tying to find her on the monitors from the point she left the shop. However I only caught a glimpse of the woman, but remember what she looked like. Unfortunately she left or more ran from the centre after the incident. I spent an hour giving my statement to the police and helping to track back the woman on CCTV. We also tried to ring the phone, but she turned it off. Then I had to go back to work only to find out that the other girl working that day also had all her money stolen. Luckily the woman overlooked her mobile in the locker door.
At the moment its being investigated and they hope that they have the woman in their database. That's only if they can get a clear image of her face off CCTV. Unfortunately
my shop doesn't have CCTV (which we should) but security are trying to get it from other shops that she went into.
I've blocked my SIM already over phone and tomorrow I'm going to try lock the phone through the shop.

Is this TVR Sagaris:

And before you ask me, the team I will be racing for is Vibe. Which is an all TVR Sagaris team, which should make for an intresting championship.
Mainly because we are the only TVR team in the championship, that and in season 1 of the Tora GT3 "FM2". I ran a TVR Sagaris, which is like returning to a new friend.
But as far as my target, my aim for this season is to finish near the top 10 or in the bottom half of the top 10. Which will not be any easy task.
Moving On
Yesterday I watched Avatar 2D, and I must say it is one of the best movies I have seen this year. But I tell you this, the movie got me thinking.
The universe may have beings similar or like the Na'vi, seeing how it is a big place. That and if I was ever reborn, once I die of old age.
Then I would love to be born on another planet, and reborn as a being similar to the N'avi.
Don't you just love it when somebody says that they'll do something and they end up not delivering the goods? I know I do. In my last blog, I told you guys I'd do a video blog and, well, I didn't deliver. I'm sorry about that. Things have been hectic around the office and at home, with the Holidays just around the corner, that I haven't had the time nor the desire to do a DBoy's Den. However, I have some vacation time coming my way over the Holidays, and I'll do my best to make one.
Moving on to video games now. Just yesterday, I completed Assassin's Creed II. It took me a while to get through it, but it wasn't because I had a hard time with the game. I just took my time and did a lot of stuff on the side, like assassination missions and so on. I really enjoyed the game a whole lot. Everything within Assassin's Creed II is a huge improvement over the first game. The combat flows evenly and elegantly, as does the parkour, and the story and characters are a huge step up from the previous game. As for the ending, it's a lot let disappointing than in the first game. However, I found myself wondering where Ubisoft are going with the series after witnessing this somewhat eye-widening ending. Regardless, Assassin's Creed II is a fantastic game which you should check out, even if you didn't like the first game. It's a very strong contender for my Game of the Year, that's for sure.
The next games I'll be playing might surprise some of you. Actually, these are two games I've downloaded off of Xbox Live. One of them is a classic. The other one came out at the beginning of 2009 and is part of the Games on Demand. I purchased Indigo Prophecy and Red Faction: Guerrilla. Why those two games? I decided to get Indigo Prophecy after watching Giant Bomb's quick look on the game. Actually, I wanted to get that game a long time ago, but never got around to doing so. Also, with Heavy Rain coming in 2010 from the same developers (Quantic Dream), I thought now would be as good a time as any to check it out. As for Red Faction, I saw it on the Games on Demand service and decided to download it. Never got around to playing it in January, and I'd seen that a couple of people had been playing it lately, including GameSpot's own Kevin Van Ord. Should be quite fun destroying everything.
If you guys want to know what my Game of the Year will be, amongst other things, you're going to have to head on over to "that other website I write for" to get the lowdown. We're doing a Best of 2009 special over there, and I hope you guys will come on over and check it out. Also, I've asked for Borderlands for Christmas (hell, I didn't know what to ask for this year), so I might be playing that on Christmas day and afterwards. Add to that the video blog and I'll be a busy bee during the Holidays. Nonetheless, I hope to see you online during that time so we can get some gaming on together.
Have a safe and happy Holiday. See you guys soon.
I've pretty much been sucked into other things apart from hype at knowing a few things I'm getting for x-mas (like Left 4 Dead 2, and Tekken 6) and knowing my dear, sweet little bro is finally getting a PS3. However, I have managed to get some game time between some manga reading (Yotsuba&! and Gamble Fish) and D&D gaming.
I finally finished Dragon Age a week or so ago. I went through the game being good and am somewhat happy with the ending. I just wished there were more cinematics involved. I'll be taking a break before I go through it again as totally evil.
I had finished Tomb Raider even further back. I can't remember if I mentioned it, but I had started in on Force Unleashed. I'm still going through the junkyard area to kill Kazdan Paratus. I had to scale the dificulty back because I was having problems with enemies pushing me to my death.
Final Fantasy Tactics A2 is a thorn in my side. I can't seem to beat the end boss. I did some leveling and got some better gear, but I haven't had the drive to give it another go. I'm nearing burnout on that with all the time I've already plugged into it. It might end up being yet another RPG I drop at the very end. I'm trying not to do that, though.
Oh yeah, commuting is fun again! And the best part is, I'd forgotten about the pre-order, so it was like an early Xmas present when the post arrived on Saturday :-)
Yes that is what sleep is. I will pay the price eventually since I am now fully losing track of time and space...well time atleast. I'm starting an additional job next week too. It's more of an expansion of one of the other jobs but now I am incharge or setting up stuff so it should be fun. I'll be running a mobile classroom to do science experiments so it should be fun and right up my alley.
Games...I have to get Assassins Creed 2 still and the Super Mario Wii. I thought I was done buying games this year...oh well. The few days I have off this holiday season I am going to be making the most of. I have to decide what game to ring in the new year with along with my traditional Jersey Death Sauce.
I am so not ready for the holiday season but it is only a few weeks away now. Maybe the snow we are supposed to get today will help me get into holiday mode.
Time for me to feed some snakes...

I have only gotten through the initial part of it (on my lunch break), and I am already stunned. The graphics are amazing, the interaction detailed and in depth. I hated going back to work. I wanted to play! This will be a timesink for me for many days to come and I can see options for replay all over the place as it is. Now, I'm not going to go into full review mode until I've played more -- 30 minutes of play will not cut it -- but so far, I am absolutely thrilled with the graphics, gameplay, and storyline.
I have essentially just done what my friend SavoyPrime normally does once a year and cut my friend list on GS down. Kind of fed up of seeing people pop up with new blogs when a lot of the time i have no idea who they are. I had some people on there who haven't made a blog in 3 years and others who were banned..... went from 157 - 62. No offense meant if you got cut, but obviously i don't post in your blog, you don't mine and i don't speak to you so why bother eh? ![]()
Finally.
I knew I would grow tired of this place and decide to leave, or get banned without actively trying. I'm surprised I'm not banned already, but instead it has led to this. I don't want to continue doing this anymore.
I am leaving GameSpot permanently.
To put it simply, I'm sick of it. I'm sick of the site telling me that it's my fault there are HTML errors. I'm sick of pointless moderations. I'm sick of the same threads being reposted every month and I'm sick of the waves of old threads being bumped.
James Kozanecki sent me a private message at the start of this month. Part of it reads:
| kozanecki wrote: |
| We noticed that you've been moderated a fair bit lately and under the Terms of Service you're rapidly approaching a ban. You're a great forum poster and it would be a shame to lose you, so try to keep it clean and above board. |
Yeah well screw that. Lose me. I don't want to be a GameSpot forum poster anymore, and I won't let moderators have the satisfaction of moderating me anymore or banning me. I am clean. I am above board, but GameSpot's moderation system is flawed and doesn't allow for the least bit of fun, joke or innuendo. I will no longer subject myself to this virtual prison.
There isn't even a reason outside of the forum to visit this website and hasn't been for years. The news is always a day late, the reviews are late and the video content is bland.
This website is no longer relevant and has no reason to be visited.
So there's my reasoning. No real surprises there, but why exactly have I chosen to leave on the 22nd of September?
Before being a regular at GameSpot I used to post very frequently on a wrestling forum at wrestling.net.au. As seen by this screenshot taken before the forum was relaunched, I made nearly 6000 posts there! However after having enough of one moderator on the team who had hated me ever since I signed up I decided I would leave. I did so, on the 22/09/2007. The exact same date I registered there in 2003. Now I'm going to do it again. Same date, same signature, and just like last time I will never return. Even after writing this the similarities continued with one of my last threads on GameSpot being closed just like on the wrestling forum.
As for where I'm going next, I don't feel like writing anything on the internet for a while. I want to sit back, wind down, reflect, forget and refresh. I want to rid my mind of the evil of the past before moving on to something better.
But it wasn't all bad. The most important part of this website for me were the same people who read my posts and blog entries throughout the years. You. Your personalities, forum posts, blog posts, Community Games Nights and Pick-up threads kept me coming back all these years and I thank all those who gave me a laugh. You all know who you are!
And... I guess that is it.
It's time for me to stop. What you're reading now is the last thing I'll ever do on GameSpot before signing out for eternity. Time to walk away from almost 100 blog entries, over 1000 users tracking me, over 11000 profile views and over 12000 posts. It may be drastic, but this is something I feel I need to do and it's in my best interests that I say... Goodbye!
And then, there was nothing.
elektrixxx.....
So I see I haven't posted a blog in awhile so I figure I better just get a little something posted to keep with the times. School's started back up which kind of sucks for me. I had to leave my old school for very complecated reasons but now I'm the new kid in a different county. So far I still don't really know anyone to closely but I do have quite a few acquantices I talk to in the hallways andin class and such. I plan on joining lacrosse so that I get involved in school events and what not. Should be fun.
As far as gaming goes, I've been pretty idle. I've been playing Shadow Compex a lot, love that game to death. Well worth $15. I finally got around to playing God of War 2 so I'm also thoroughly enjoying that. It has a very epic feel to it, great fun. Lastly, I'm playing a lot of Halo 3 online. I love all things Halo so this should be expected of me but this is the first time I've really felt attached to Halo 3 like all the other Halos.
Anyways, I hope everyone is doing well!
Here's the spoiler free review of Clint Eastwood's "Gran Torino":

My next review isn't written, so it's up in the air what I will write about. If there are any movies (theater release to classic) that you want to see reviewed, definitely let me know. I'm not saying that I've seen every movie ever made, but if I haven't, and it's a good pick, I will gladly rent/watch it. Some goodies I've seen recently that I could review are "Crash," "The Hurt Locker," and "The Pianist."
Hello to everyone that I know on G/S ![]()
It is such a long time since I've posted a blog on here but you can blame pressure of work and Facebook. Hopefully I can manage to spend some time on my Unions now but if I feel that I'm failing I've decided to find new Leaders for both of them. I have been away for so long and it's odd but I don't seem to have missed much. All of the Unions are pretty quiet and G/S is the same as it ever was.
Beth has made me a new avatar and a new banner. For those of you who aren't familiar with the subjects I'll just say "Twilight". Yes I'm hooked on a teenage girls fantasy and I don't really care. Everyone is entitled to dream......and it keeps me sane ![]()
.
Not a lot has happened in my life since my last blog. Except that Beth finally settled into Uni life and did incredibly well in her 1st year. Mike has become a PS3 trophy addict and is driving me insane looking for games on Ebay with trophies. I read somewhere that all PS3 games that have come out this year will have trophies...he even played my Harry Potter and the HBP to get a trophy lol.
I hope that all of my friends on G/S are keeping well and are not suffering too much from "The Credit Crunch".
By the way I really should change my name to Babsthesuzuki because I've changed my car. I miss my little Yaris but I couldn't go on any longer without air con...it's not a luxury anymore...it's a necessity!!!!

the funny thing is i found episodes dubbed in Italian on a japanese episode.....yeppie
