I've missed this place so much! Its hard getting back into the flow though, especially with limited internet time having to run after my toddler who is just about to start the TERRIBLE TWO'S!!

She is into EVERYTHING these days, but cuter than ever so its hard to discipline her! =) Her 2nd birthday is 2 months away and, of course, I've already started planning her shindig. Its going to be Wild West themed with a miniature donkey to ride, horse racing (you know, with stick ponies), digging for gold, BBQ, Indians, Cowboys, Cowgirls and the whole she-bang!

So, before my LONG hiatus I explained that my computer was on the fritz. Well, its had two major overhauls and I am finally able to use it like a normal person! I did loose some files and photos that were not backed up. But I have since (nearly) gotten over their loss. At least its back to normal and virus free for the moment! My step-dad was awesome for saving what he could, clearing the hard drive and re-installing everything for me.

Oh yeah, I also had my wedding! Bridezillas *really* should have been there to document it, has I had several minor breakdowns and 2 MAJOR freak-outs. But once it was all said and done, it was a beautiful day with hundreds and hundreds of pictures to memorialize it! =) I've got hundreds uploaded to my MySpace page for those who are interested and have an account there. For those of you who dont and are interested, I'll post a blog with photos and info here soon. But, here's a group photo at the ceremony site.

For those of you who followed my journey to the big day while I was still able to blog about it, you can see that my plans were fully realized with the colors and ideas I had along the way.

Right now, amidst all the family drama I wont bore you with and day to day life its been really busy here in Texas! Married life is basically the same as "living in sin" life. =) Except with rings and an official document!=) And medical insurance.=) We are currently trying for second and more than likely final child so thats been, interesting. =) We are trying for a boy and I've been researching all the old wives tales about how to increase our chances of having one. As usual, I'll keep my TV.com friends and family posted on the trails and tribulations of the life of a DarkBride! =)

Gawd I miss TV.com sooo much, which means YOU, all the lovely people who are seeing this blog. You would not believe the crap I've been dealing with which has kept me from here. Let start at the beginning and maybe I'll still have some friends at this place when I can come back for good.

I took about a week's break originally to get caught up on all my wedding to-do's that needed computer time. As some of you know, its very hard as it is to get on the computer at all because of my 16 month old little girl. So I had to use what computer time I had to get some major wedding projects done, ie the invitations and enclosures that I am doing myself and the music.

So last week I download some music file and it has totally screwed my computer. Anytime I do anything and even when the computer is sitting here by itself pop-ups from hell come up w/o warning. So its slowing this thing down to the max. Plus windows just close out of the blue. It literally took me 20 minutes to get to TV.com, log in and to the post a blog page. Seriously. So all the computer trouble is slowing me down even further.

Not to mention personal and family dramas that are going on. Everything is just a mess right now. I've got 2 months and a week until the wedding and loads and loads and loads more to accomplish before with no help. I dont even know if my mom is still doing the flowers or anything else she promised. I cant get my computer fixed because my step-dad is mad at me. No one and I mean NO ONE is offering to help with anything so I am trying to do EVERYTHING by myself while trying to watch and care for Zoey whom BTW is getting into everything and the minute I take my eyes off her she is climbing up onto something and promptly falling off of it.

So thats why I am drowning.

I hope when I/if I get this computer thing under control I still have you awesome folks here to come crawling back to. My sanity is slipping. Its so sad that the only people in my life who can make me feel better are people I've never even met in person. Go figure.

::I Do Diaries::

I've finally found some shoes that I totally didn't loathe. See, I am a total heel girl. The bigger the better. And I am already nearly 6' tall. So heeled shoes put me at 6'2" and more. Well, my fiancee is only like 5'8" so I've had to give up my heel obsession so that I dont freakishly tower over him and I REALLY dont want to do that on our wedding day! But most flat shoes aren't that cute. I wear flip flops year round, but I want something a little more dressy for the wedding. lol! Anyways, I finally found the perfectly affordable pair -- in two colors! I bought both the black and silver because I am not sure what will go best with the ivory dress. Probably the black, but at the clearance price I got them for-I can totally keep both without it breaking the bank. Anyways, here they are! Along with a picture of what the fishnet hose will look like with the wedding dress. (I found the awesome picture on Flickr. This bride didn't wear the fishnets the whole day, it looks like only for this one picture. I'll be wearing mine ceremony, reception, everything.)

::How to I Do::

Right now I am kind of at a stalemate withall of my projects because I need more materials tofinish them. I thought I'd give you a run down of all the crazy tasks I've still gottado. Beware, its a LOT!Here goesrint and assemble invitations-reception cards-response cards & map inserts, print & design the rehearsal dinner invitations, get my guestbook to flow with the pen&base better, add ribbon and berries to the flower girl baskets, print and assemble programs, along w/my mom-assemble all wedding flowers,assemble the ring pillow to look similar to the pen base, download and burn cds to play at the reception,make more beaded flute rings,find a cake serving set and embellish it to match the rest of the accessories, print place cards,wrap the rest of the cutlery, along with the rest of my cooking team-make all the reception food, Burn CD guest favors and assemble packaging,assemble ring for a kiss bells with ribbon and tag, and of course all the decorating at the ceremony and reception sites. I know I am missing something but I am so off my cracker right now, I couldn't tell you what it is!

Thank you to everyone of you whom threatened to come whoop some bridesmaids @ss for me. You have no idea how it made me feel better throughout the day yesterday to come and see the supportive messages! My sanity was really put into question yesterday when she did that to me.

Luckily she called backlast night(sooner than the by Sunday night that she promised) and said she worked something out with her mom that opened up some more funds and she will be able to go and buy the dress and be a part of the wedding. Yay? Well, its going to have to be. I literally had no one to fill her shoes with this short of notice. I am still p!ssed that she pulled this crap on me, as stressful as all this is, the last thing I need is her calling up 3 months before the wedding and freaking me out for the better part of the day.

The bad thing for her though is I hold secret grudges and she will be none to thrilled whenits her turn to get married and I take out my wraith upon her. Whether I am a bridesmaid or not. Seriously. It may be petty, but even my sister is getting a taste of her own medicine when she gets married someday. You treat people how you want to be treated right? Well,none of them have been that great towards mefor my special day -- and payback will be a b!tch.

Anyways, the news last night that she was going to be able to make it was a huge relief off my shoulders. I wasable to chill out and for the 2nd night in a row able to pick up my Harry Potter and dive in. At 3am I finally finished and I have to say that with a tear streaked face, I was reallyhappy with what JK Rowling did with the book. Of course you'd always do it differently, but I understand why things unfolded the way they didand I will IMMENSELY miss Harry Potter andthe wizarding world that she's created. Luckily we've still got acouple movies to look forward too!
