It's seems like I have been in one for the past months not visitingGamespot much at all with no real record that I've actually been here. Well, times are changing and I think I am leaving that graveyard and coming back to life here at good ol' GS. Gotta say it feels kind of good to be back. I'll keep my return blog brief...

Well, since this is the gaming website, might as well show you the new games. I'll just show you the new ones me and my brothers got for Christmas because there are other games that I've gotten while I was gone and forgot about. So anyways...

There you go, all four of these amazing games: Modern Warfare 2, FIFA 10, Assassin's Creed 2, and Batman: Arkham Asylum. I unfortunately haven't got the chance to play half of these games. Modern Warfare 2 is having problems and we haven't returned it yet, and Arkham Asylum has been hogged by my brother. The middle to games were actually my gifts. And I recommend them to everyone.

havent been here much huh.. well its becoming a habit... slow university net means NO to GS...

So the game is less that 2 weeks away.. and just like 358/2 days, i wont wait for US release... so i asked my cousin to buy me one (his money ^^) and post it here... might take a week after the game release.. hope not too long.. just wanna get a first hand experience of the game... before anyone else does.. haha..

last night i got a ring that says i will wait till marrage. i said to God 9-10 years ago i would but now i have this ring i can look at it and see that promise every single day and why i made it. in the bible it says 1 thes 4:3-4 "For this is th...e will ...of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;"

Well at the end of my last blog I mentioned how a job oppurtunity had arised but did not state what the job was incase I didnt get the job, and that is the case but ill say what the job is anyway. Well nothing much usually happens in little old pembrokeshire (My home county) but this month has seen fame come to a few of the beaches. Firts of some Harry Potter scenes for the last film have been shot here and now its the turn of the new Robin hood film. Now my dad is working as an extra on the film and is excited to be working alongside Russel Crowe and Ridley scott. Well my dad was talking to one of the crew on set and they sai dthey needed more people to work as well assisstants and that they were looking mainly for people who have just left school. Well I fitted the bill but by the time my dad put my name forward they had already filled the spaces. No job for me.

The worst thing is that it was alot of work I have missed out on and at the end alot of money. It seems a hard job because albeit temporary its a 12-14 hour day and for 21 days straight, at the end of which I would have gained between £1000 and £1500, which is alot of money.. Never mind hey im sure theer will be more hollywood actors back in our little welsh county soon haha

anyway, to the topic: battlefield heroes!the new game that's in open beta right now, most probably, youve heard about it, seeing as it's first page on gamespot for some time now. he main porpuse of this blog is to say that ive started playing, im a royalist, and i recommend people to join the beta, because the game is as good as out!

also if i see more people here play it i might create a Battlefield heroes union. ive never made or lead a union, and i think GS doesent have any other unions about this game. it would help me if you read this and want to join, please comment or PM me, youll be charter member and officer...

@ Gamespot: So I haven't been very active on GS lately, with all the RL stuff (Homework, social stuff, ect.) and I'm sorry to all the unions that I haven't been very active on :S I should be a bit more active when some new stuff comes out in MLN.

@ Gaming: I've been quite busy playing WoW, my main is at level 67/80 and I'm leveling a new alt aswell as making some cash Also, I've been playing a bit of AQW whenever I can - new games are always exiting as there's so much to come out that is your decision

@ Real life: As said, I've been busy with homework and social stuff. I went to a sleepover yesterday! m/ >.< m/ I've also been busy listening to the radio, as my cousin's cousin (my uncle's niece) is the lucky girl getting married on Mercury FM's secret Marriage! To the happy couple of Carly and Wesly! OMG, they are about to say the I do's!

Also. just a side note..in an entire conference dominated by next-gen games that have seemingly infinite detail, i have to give props to Capcom for having the guts to come out with Megaman 9. For those of you who didn't see the demo, basically the game looks, plays, and sounds just like the original megaman games for the NES. I'm not a huge fan of the series, but hopefully the risky move by Capcom will pay off and Megaman will sell well when it comes out in September

I'm all caught up on the Naruto manga. I kinda expected there was something more behind what Itachi did killing his clan and Kabuto seems like he's gone insane. Jiraiya is actually dead. Didn't think that would happen. So that means there is only one sannin left unless the Orochi in Kabuto takes over. My favorite akatsuki member is dead. It was Itachi.

Many of you may have noticed my inactivity here on GS. I still log on, check out the game reviews, download a demo, drop a random post. The activities of life have overwhelmed the free time I once had and rightly so. The journey I take is one all GS forum posters must make. It is inevitable, unquestionable, one could almost believe fated.

I made a AMV (animated music video) the other night when I couldn't sleep, and have posted it on my youtube account and here on GS. Enjoy

OK, time for another blog entry. This time, I think I'll explain my username: poochythegenius

I am a big fan of Yoshi's Island. One reason I like it so much is that it is one of the first platformers I was good at. Unlike most platform games, I could get hit by enemies as much as I wanted and not die (the most common way I died in other games). After a while, I pulled out my GBA again and started playing. After I beat B- I mean, the final boss, I decided to try to finish the game 100%. It was at this point that I discovered Rainiac666 and his play-through of Yoshi's Island on YouTube. After watching only one video, I was hooked. I had to see more. Rainiac has now finished his playthrough, but I continued looking at his older videos. One video was for the near-infamous level "Poochy Ain't Stupid." "Poochy Ain't Stupid" is a scrolling level that involves the player riding a NPC dog named Poochy over lava pits that almost completely cover the floor of the stage. Stop and think about that. You're riding a dog that you can't control over lava, and on top of that, it's a scrolling stage. That's insane! In addition, you are trying to collect all of the items to get 100%-it's almost impossible! Anyhow, I watched the video and came to a conclusion: Poochy IS stupid. I quickly came up with the username 'poochythegenius,'and when I came to GameSpot, I realized it was the perfect name for my account.

Anyhow, that's how I got my username. do you like it?
