And so it begins
And so, today is the day it begins, the day that begins something big for us gamers. Today is the day the 2007 gaming avalanche begins, for today, Madden 08 was released and it's the first of many games coming out this year. This will be favorable for gamers of all kinds. For nintendo gamers, we've got Mario, Smash Bros; Metroid and Zelda, which are all games we know and love. There's also resident evil: Umbrella Chronicles, but aside from that, no notable 3rd party game, still, pretty good lineup, since all the nintendo exclusives are bound to be incredible games.
For Playstation fanboys (don't take it bad) tere's got LAIR, which looks just plain awesom, God of War for the psp, Warhawk and of course, multiplatform games, such as Orange Box, Assasin's Creed, Oblivion GOTY edition which adds shivering isles, Army of two, Rock Band, Guitar Hero III, Stranglehold, Call of Duty 4 and the list continues going and going. Oh, and don't forget that cool new psp which has some video output.
For Xbox 360 gamers, there's the best lineup of exclusives, we've got Mass Effect, Blue Dragon, PGR4, Eternal Sonata and of course the almighty and all-powerful marketing bomb and godsent console FPS game, Halo 3, which will let us all finish the fight, as for 3rd parties, there's pretty much the same for ps3 owners.
PC gamers will finally use all the massive power of their incredibly expensive pc's with crysis, the game which makes reality look bad, and they will also play gears of war the way it was meant to be played, and they will be able to play other 5 new chapters, there's also bioshock and the orange box, and even though orange box is also out for 360 and ps3, we all know games like that were made to be played on the pc.
That's a lot of games, but 2008 will continue this with something for all of us: mario kart, metal gear solid 4, halo wars and resident evil 5 are some of the games we shall play after 2007's gaming avalanche.
