!~New Most Excited Movies List~!

Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At World's End - Pirates 1 great movie, Pirates 2 great, come on what chances are their of Pirates 3 incredibly sucking?

Spiderman 3 - come on who isn't hyped up for this after that amazing trailer

Ratatouille - gotta have an awesome Animated feature next year

The Prestige - I don't what it is about this movie, but it just looks cool.

Apocalypto - Mel Gibson is an awesome director. And I loved Passion. I can't wait to see what he does with the mayans.

TMNT - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the coolest tv cartoon ever! Now in a full CG movie. Yes!!!!!

Children of Men - Clive Owen is a great actor and with the way the story seems to be going from the trailer, I'm willing to bet this'll be good. Although there do seem to points that could lead to it being bad. (one being the effects that are caused to the baby through the mothers actions or environment, which I hope they get right)

The Departed - Two words... freakin amazing! http://movies.yahoo.com/mvc/dfrv?mid=1808745378&s=rc_d&rvid=7-391973&i=4&spl=1&ys=9HPw54kubE.A7rVNxfuxjg--

Great list - it's prompted me to look up a few titles (haven't heard of Ratatouille or Children of Men). I'm definitely looking forward to the obvious blockbusters on there, but especially The Departed. There have been two films released recently with an Oscar-style campaign (The Black Dahlia and All the King's Men) which turned out to be real stinkers. But Scorsese is talented beyond words and, yes, his film is adorned with an ace cast. Ebert (or Kevin Smith rather) and Roeper liked it a lot, so that's a plus in my book - should be a great release.

Well, what did ya think about it? Honestly, I felt a little conflicted watching it what with all the swearing and all (although it is a Scorsese movie). It's undeniably one of the best pieces to come along in awhile, but I don't think Marty'll get the Oscar for this one.

Yeah I have the feeling something in the next 2.5 months will come along and the Academy will like that better. But the cursing didn't bother me at all. I found a lot of it funny, and added somewhat of a feeling a dimension I guess to life in Boston. That's atleast how I feel about it.
