So, you think you have the worst job ever?

Read this:

This weeks worst job

You may think that your job is bad, but pity me for I am a Worm Taster. I'm sure you know what a Wine Taster does - he checks the quality of wines before it is bottled. You probably know that a Cheese Taster checks how good cheeses are before they are sent to the supermarket. But what about a Worm Taster? Well there are a number of Worm Breeders around the UK - they sell worms to the fishing tackle shops who then sell them to people who go fishing. Worms come in a number of breeds - some are more attractive to fish than others breeders are always searching for the perfect worm - one that the fish can't resist. That's where I come in - I spend each and every day sniffing, feeling and, of course, eating raw worms in an effort to find those new breeds that the fish will like. It's a bit of a tasteless job pardon the pun - but being confined to a wheelchair it's the only one I can get near to where I live. On top of that the pay is minimum wages. The only perk I get is an abundance of free worms so my family eat worm pie twice a week. Of course they don't know what they are eating, I tell them that it's mince pie.

Now, whenever I'll feel down and bitten up by my job - i'm going to read this!

Bleh!

Photos from my trip to Switzerland

I was just thinking...

So I got back from my trip to Switzerland and Italy.
I've made almost 600 photos there.

But what I was going to say (write) here is that I've learned pretty interesting stuff while I was traveling through there.

First and the most important thing - never call Italians "terrones" (dirty hicks). At least not before you're certain there not from south of the country. It turns out those from the south get very angry about that. They are very serious about themselves, I guess. They might kill you for that. So don't unless you like danger.
Next - the man at the Milan Central Train Station International Information Office speaks only Italian (no english, no german, no french, no spanish and don't even bother to try polish language on him, my friends!).

Also I've learned that Switzerland is a very beautifull/clean/hygenic country.
Everything there is carefully folded. And packed in airtight bags (even the vegetables).
Don't even try to cross the street in unallowable place (huge french-speaking policeman will give you a ticket!!).
Overall Swiss people are very polite, friendly and hygenic. Unfortunatelly they don't get my sense of humour (too bad, we could have a great time).

So do I advise you to go there?? YES!!
Those countries are beautifull, colorfull, they have great food and are very tourist-friendly.
So don't belive in the words of old hag (well, maybe belive in the "terrone") - just go there and enjoy!!!!

Now for the best part -some of the photos I've made in Switzerland

I hope you liked it

P.S. I almost forgot! About the "terrones" - I didn't called anybody that, i just witnessed it. Scary...

Your smile, shine a little light, alright. Don't hide, shine a little light...

A simple song can make you smile...even if just for a minute.

A little bit of something / my passion (photography, that is!)

So I decided to share with you my passion.

I think the most wonderfull thing in a photograph is that it shows the World as a beautifull and good place. We are constantly amazed by the beauty of simple things we see on photos. Things that are just left unnoticed as we pass them by and rush to live our busy lives...

This is what I do in my spare time:

And another one:

And the last one, so you won't get bored:

Backing down can become a way of life

Everything starts with a drawer. That is just how it goes. First there was the drawer where your mom put all of your socks, now – in a grown life - you can see how people put their opinions and assumptions about each other. All of cliches eventually land in a drawer. We drawer them. We organise and fold them, so whenever we need them back we can take them back to our world. They're cool, cause by using them we don't have o think. Thinking is tiring and dangerous – we might change our perspective. If we change our perspective we might get to the point, that we were wrong before. Nobody likes to be wrong.

I remember the first "big" decision I've made. I was, what – six, seven? When I've said "no" and I felt all grown up. My Mom bought a tickets to the Circus. After 45 minutes of a "great show" the ring master announced a short break. We got outside the tent.

"So, did you liked it?" my Mom asked

"Yeah, it was cool" I said.

After about ten minute walk she asked me:

"Do you wanna go back and see the rest of it?"

I think I didn't know what to say.

"No, I don't want to" I answered. I felt big. I felt older, like an adult. Well, almost like an adult. after all, I've made a decision. First time I said "no" about things I used to said "yes". Well, nope, not this time.A long time past 'till I realised I've made a mistake. That was my birthday and the whole circus thing was a an unconventional way to celebrate them. I've never been to a circus before. And never after. I have no idea how much I've made my Mom sad. But I know, that I did.

Through years, I've made a lot of those choices. First because of a stupidity. But after some time I got so much used to the fact that I'm not doing things, not enjoying myself, or simply – living my life, that whenever came to decide to start, I always was to scared to try. I felt so much safer in my own, controlled environment.

I am 23 years old and I have no idea how to deal with people. I don't know what to say when they're sad or need comforting. I feel the empathy but I have no idea how to show it. I can't read people. The older I get the harder the learning is. But I'm trying hard.

Those few friend I have, those few people that I let into my heart, who stayed with me and support me through all those years – I treasure them. They made me a better person and opened my eyes on the real world. The world full of beauty and small disasters. With happy and sad times. I watch their struggle and I learn form them. They told me that it is not a shame to be vulnerable sometimes. To cry. To be clumsy sometimes and laugh about it. They told me how to share feelings and opinions, how to fight to be yourself and feel good about it.

Every day is unique. And time is running so fast, that before you notice, it is tomorrow.

Try hard not to waste it.

Overall, I feel very lucky. Actually, I believe I am.

I wouldn't trade my life. All the mistakes I've made before lead me to where I am. And I hope I heading it the right direction. I'm not going to give up.

And about those assumptions in the drawer – trust me all, you still don't know me at all. But think of me what you want. I really don't care.

Peace to you all.

Quiz

Ok, so I have a quiz for you guys

It's something I read yeasterday in a book:

Question: If you were supposed to go vote for the ruler of the world (and you knew that your vote is going to determine who wins it) who would you choose:

Candidate A - Likes to drink absinthe, a lot. was making bussines with shady people (not once), He's half-blind.

Candidate B - Likes to drink whiskey, smokes a lot of cigarettes and cigars, He's overweight and had at least two affairs during his marriage.

Candidate C - He's vegetarian, doesn't like to drink alcohol, except beer (ocasionally), never had troubles in marriage, he also was given Goverment Order.

Remember - your voice decides which of the will rule the world.

I'm so curious what would you say.

Ready?? GO!

How cute is this?

So, this is what my brother gave me recently:

A Mosque shaped alarm clock! With an Azan call to prayer as an alarm. No more trouble with waking up. No more getting late to work. This little beauty will wake up even the dead

If I could have any job in the world I'd be a professional Cinderella

Oh, I am - weak, beautiful person who gives up with such grace. What I need is someone to take hold of me - gently, with love, and hand my life back to me. I guess, I'm just sitting here and trying to decipher what's written in braille upon my skin.

I'd really like to meet Tennessee Williams. I like the way he speaks aloud about our deepest secrets and he does it in this special way, that they sound like music. In memory everything seems happen to music.
