Schwag week will be held May 1st through the 8th 

A large part of game marketing has always had a lot of shwag involved. Love it or hate it, shwag is here to stay. Just about any gamer has a piece of shwag they hold dear, be it from a trade show, promotional offer, contest, or even just a pre-order bonus. These items have a story to tell, and I think it's about time they were told. In honor of the E3 that was, I'll be hosting Shwag week in the first week of May.

How does Shwag week work? If you have a piece of gaming shwag, simply take a picture of it or include it in a video, then tell the story of how you came across it and why it's your favorite piece of shwag. After your done, send me a PM with your blog post, and I'll set it up to be included during the week. Every day I'll feature shwag from all around the community, and even throw in some of my own for good measure.

I hope to hear a lot of good stories from the community, and even see some nice rare shwag. So get cracking on that shwag, because Tuesday, May 1st is going to be the start of one hell of a week!
