Hey Everyone,

I can't believe it's almost time for me to graduate from college and I'm getting ready to start my internship in the Fall at Cartoon Network. They accepted me into the trainee program, so I'm hoping they hire me on permantley. However, I'm still looking at other internships and companies, so I won't put all my eggs in one basket. I've decided to used the DJ86 as my official logo on all my business cards and demo reels.

Speaking of demo reels, I'm currently working on mine, so I can send it out to every company I can. I'm also learning Dreamweaver, so I can build my own website to host my work on it. I've been tryig to upload my animations onto youtube and gamespot, but they are still too big (I'll get them up someday ).

I've also started practicing doing CG art, rather than signatures. I'm currently working on a Mermaid/underwater scene now. I would have been finished but my Production Studio II class for my animated short takes up ALOT of my free time. Once I finish it at the end of the quarter, I'll post it up for everyone to see.

Sup Everyone? Man, this last quarter was so hectic. I nearly spent all of my freetime at my school finishing up my project for my advanced animation techniques class. As far as logging on GS, I know I've been ghost a little but I'll be posting more over the break. I've also made a few new sigs, which I think look good:

I know I've said I'd post my animations I've done, but the file sizes are HUGE. I'll probaly try to run by the school tomorrow and use after effects to compress the files. I'm goind to make sure to include my character sketches and model in my next blog.

I told yall before that I was doing the internship at MSNBC in april, but I just did a phone interview w/ Nickelodeon studios and I've applied the the internship for Cartoon network. I like the fact that I have an internship lined up, but If any of the other two I get accepted for, I'm jumping on those.

Now, if you look above you, I've got a new banner for my profile. I originally made it for the Designers Central Union, but tweaked it to be my own. Hit me up everyone and let me know how you guys are doing.

Sup everyone,

For the last two weeks, I've been on vacation from work and school for the first time in 2 years. I was able to sit back and chill without doing any school work, went to the beach and spent some quality time with my girlfriend (which wasn't much last quarter at school because of the work load).

I got to hang out with my best friends this weekend that I haven't seen since July of 2004. We went to club Fuel on friday night. Me and my boy Marcus were acting a straight ass that night (It was free drinks all night, so what do you expect ) Than yesterday, we hung out all day. In the afternoon, we chilled at my house and played some games and then went to the Jerk Hut to get some Jamaican style food. That curry chicken was something serious. Than later that day, we went to the USF staduim to watch serveral fraternities do some step dancing (I have the footage on my phone and when I can find a free file conterver, I'll show you all some clip and my animations that I promised to show you guys months ago ) Than after the wathing the step teams perform, we went to the afterparty at another club on Nebraska street, than drunk and hung out some more until 4am. Finally, we all went home and I had a night cap before I went to sleep.

Yea, this whole two weeks was something I needed to break away from school and work for a while. Hopefully, I can plan another vacation like this soon.

Also, I'm going to start texturing the 3D character I've been modeling, shortly after I finish setting up the skeleton rig. I've also been drawing a few concept character sketches and I'm going to trying playing w/ a few painting methods. Oh, and I finished doing some animations for my 3D studio II course. Once I have those rendered out, I'll show them to you guys.

Sup everyone, I wanted to post a blog just sayin' whats really good? Geeeeeesh, ever since classes started on July 14th for my college I've had a project due every class and at the end of every class, for my 3D studio II class. I made a 3D model and character sheet for this one character I modeled, it look very nice (IMO )

Also, I've been working on my demo reel for to show my employers what I can do. I've also got a internship lined up for MSNBC, animating graphics for the nightly news and other shows. I've also submitted in some storyboards for Blue Sky Studio, in whiteplains,ny. I got a letter back from them saying they liked my work and wanted to see an animated storyboard from me. If they like it, then that intership is in the bag Thats the one I REALLY want, but if I can't go to Blue Sky, than MSNBC will be cool...As long as I can get my foot in the door, I'm cool.

Any way, I just wanted to say whats up to everyone, because I know that I've been ghost for week . And for the people who play Mega Man Starforce, PM me if you want to be added in my brotheband. Alright, take it easy everyone and keep in touch.
