This year is flying by, isn't it?

I mean seriously, it has gone by very fast. I feel like January was only a few months ago and the amount of work I've put in this year has been insane! I remember when my parents use to tell me when I got older that time would start going faster and they were not joking. Hell, I'll be 24 in a few more months @___@

Also, everything with my career has been spinning faster then I thought it would too. I remember when I could barely find work and now I'm up to my neck in it Beside the 3D models for my Evolve CG entry, I would like to create some more character when I have the free time. But like I said earlier, I'm doing more 2D work and studying colory theory to help solidify my drawing skills.

Well how have all of you been doing?

Elisabeth Blanctorche and more Rose Fan Art

Here are two of the latest Fan Art pictures that I have finished:

Elisabeth Blanctorche

Rose

For a while atleast, I'll probably be doing more of these in my spar time. After working on a game all, the last thing I want to do sometimes is play one

Here's another illustration I've finished(Uknowhowwedo)

Hey everyone,

Here's another illustration that I worked on, while I had some down time. I had A LOT of fun drawing this one:

Uknowhowwedo - By David J Barnes

Any comments or crits would be greatly appreciated and I'll be updating this picture on my site. I'm almost enjoying this more than I do animating

Besides the usual animation and modeling work at the studio, I've been doing more concept art for the Evolve CG Hunter Challenge. I plan on making a few collages of my progress within the next week (It's a good thing I'm built for multi-tasking, lol). I'll be posting more of my artwork soon

I've got new concept art and an illustration posted up. Come check it out :-D

Hey everyone ^___^

I've posted one of my concept designs for the Evovle CG Contest on my website and deviantart. Here's the concept art for Claire Beaumont I posted on Deviant Art . Also, here's another Illustration that I worked on for Dj Micha.

For the last few weeks, I've been mainly working on multiple projects and have been pretty busy. But whenever I have some down time, I like to make more Illustrations and sketches now for more practive. I've been focused on doing 3D work for so long that I've almost forgot how a good conceptual piece can make your work even better. I can't wait to announce the game that I'm working on, once I get the okay from my boss too.

Well, expect to see a few more concepts and illustrations from me in the next few weeks and I'll see you all later ;-D

Here's some Street Fighter Fan Art that I worked on :-D

In between me doing concept sketches for the Evolve CG contest, I've been working on a few fan art pics. I started on the one for Ibuki yesterday evening and finished it this afternoon. I'm trying to get better at illustrating. I also did some tweaks to my Rose fan art too. Any feedback her or on deviantart would be greatly appreciated

About Me

I'm a CG artist who specializes in 3D Modeling, Sculpture, Animation, Motion Capture, Character Rigging and Web Design. My other skills include Concept Art, Particle Effects, Lighting and Storyboarding. The International Academy of Design and Technology is where I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts. I've worked with MG Studios doing Motion Capture setup, animation and rigging in 2009. The game that I did the motion capture work for was All-Star Cheer Squad II on the Nintendo Wii. I also have had the pleasure of rotoscoping a music concert and doing some texturing for concept art on the 3D Animation feature entitled Pino using Cinema 4D. I've had a love for animation and cartoons since I was just seven years of age and that passion hasn‘t abated in the least. I enjoy working with my clients and pride myself on my ability to help their vision become reality. I make a point to approach every project with stringent organization and professionalism to ensure quality work every time. I'm quite fortunate to do what I love for a living and am grateful to all of my family and supporters who’ve helped me along the way.
