Doom Tuesday's Adam Bernache has decided to hang up his football boots and retire from the game at the age of 36 years old. The Striker was a trainee at Doom Tuesday (Then called Doom City) and has spent his whole career there. Bernache will go down in Doom Tuesday's history books as one of their greatest players of all time. For Pyott it is a big loss and it will be hard for him to find a replacement like him. Atestormorial match was held for Adam Bernache's final match before the new 2007/08league season begins. The match was Doom Tuesday v Doom United which ended in a narrow 4-3 victory for Tuesday.

Both Doom clubs enjoyed a successful 2006/07 campaign in League Two as Doom Tuesday were crowned the new league champions of the division after picking up 129 points with 42 wins three draws and only one defeat against rivals Doom United.

Doom United too were promoted to league One after finishing second with 82 points picked up. The highlight of their season was when they beat rivals, Doom Tuesday in October. However, their lowest points was the return fixture at the UAc stadium as they were hammered 6-0 by Tuesday.

Wrexham was the third club to clinch promotion after finishing third in the table with 78 points. The Dragons were up and down in the play off places but in the end they managed to gain automatic promotion on the last day.

Lincoln City was the fourth team to gain promotion but they did it the hard way via the play offs. The Imps finished the season in fifth with 74 points on the board.
