Oh dear, I better control my impulses. Shelled out five bucks for Assassin's Creed on Steam and played it for a little bit. It certainly is a beautiful game, though the story has a hokey start. Something about genetic memory doesn't sit well with me. I've read reviews that label the game as the first big disappointment for this generation and I'm eager to see why. For sure, this game is simpler than I expected. I guess I should have figured that since this is a console oriented game and not some complex behemoth like ArmA II.
