Star Trek 2-disc Special Edition & Dragon Age: Origins Collector's Edition

Earlier tonight I picked up Star Trek 2-disc Special Edition from a local Wal-Mart for $27.83 ($28.30 after employee discount and taxes). Shortly afterwards I ended up going to "another" Wal-Mart location to see if I could find the Dragon Age: Origins Collector's Edition (the one in the steel DVD jewel case) as well as a DVD/CD shelf, since it is currently employee appreciation period at work. So we each have 3x 20 percent-off coupons. Well I managed not only to find the Collector's Edition at the Wal-Mart I went to, but also was able to combine both the game and DVD/CD shelf (which holds a total of 240 DVDs) together for a 20 percent-off deal on just ONE coupon ! Dragon Age: Origins Collector's Edition was $68.83 and the shelf was $49.76. After the employee special discount and taxes, the total came to $107.20! I'll let the rest of ya do the math on how much each item came to . As for the other two coupons, well I gave them to my parents. So it's a good thing I was able to use the ONE coupon on two items .

And LAST and finally just the other night, I picked up two sets of OCZ 6GB DDR3 PC3-15000 Reaper Triple Channel kits for $175.99 each kit (plus a $5 discount since I purchased two of them). In total that's 12GB of memory for my new and upcoming system build. Total cost after the $5 discount and taxes was $392.74.

Prince Of Persia on PC...........for ONLY 0.98 cents!!!

Hours earlier tonight, I stopped by a local Wal-Mart just for the hell of it. I ended up finding Prince Of Persia for ONLY $0.98 cents! So picking it up was somewhat of a no-brainer. Yes even thought I know many have criticised the late Prince Of Persia for being too child-oriented like, you can't lose for something less then a $1. Hell the DVD jewel case is probably worth that exact same value . Along with that......I did pick up a bottle of extra spicy Mott's Clamato. I ended up spending a total of $5.46 after employee discount and whatever applicable taxes. But otherwise overall, that was a decent find. It's THOSE deals that allow me to have the BIG collection of PC games that I have. Now it's all a matter of getting the time to have them played .

Past week and 1/2..........

Well since my last blog entry, I finally got the Asus Rampage II Extreme mobo and an Intel Core i7 920 CPU last week. The cost of both as a bundle unit was $683 Cdn ($771.79 after taxes). For any info you can check out the link on this bad boy mobo! As for DVDs, I picked up Ice Age: Dawn Of The Dinosaurs from work for the special release day price of $17.97 ($20.31 after taxes). And finally earlier today I picked up another WD 1TB Greenpower II HD, except that this one has only 8MB cache since the store did not have any 32mb cache versions left. My older 120GB Maxtor drive which I use in my Linksys Netwoork Storage unit crapped out a few days ago, so I'm getting this one as a replacement. Cost of the new HD was $81.50 ($92.43 after surchanges and taxes). I also spent an extra $13.99 ($15.81 after taxes) for a 50 pack of CD-Rs, since I'll be burning some CDs soon. I earlier today paid a visit to my instructor at the private college I attended just over a year ago, and manage to get a copy of Windows 7 Ultimate. So I'll need to burn that to a CD. Lastly.....I just recently had my Acura TSX Aero kit installed and figured I'd post some pictures. So enjoy!

Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen 2-disc Special Edition DVD

I picked that up earlier today at Wal-Mart for $26.83 ($27.29 after employee discount and taxes). Also I not too long ago replaced the spark plugs in my car (a 2004 Acura TSX) myself and tomorrow morning will be taking it to the dealership to get the lower Aero kit installed. I'm looking forward to seeing how it will look after installed . I originally yesterday tried installing the side portion, but gave up after I found it difficult to slide the original panel off (which was to be replaced). I guess sometimes you just gotta swallow your own pride !

New stuff and developments in the last few weeks..........

Today I bought a brand new full-tower case for a soon to be up-coming PC system build. The case I got was the Cooler Master HAF 932. I had heard great things about the case, plus I LOVE the way it looks as well . The case costed me $180.79 cdn after taxes. I also sometime last week bought a Western Digital 1TB Greenpower 32mb cache HD for $87 along with 25 ft RJ45 Cat5e network cable which came to a total of $108.82 cdn. The reason for purchasing that was for my Linksys Network System which I had bought last year on Boxing Day. I have YET to setup that unit . So I wanted a larger HD to compliment my 120GB HD that I was also going to be installing with that unit. As for DVD movies, I did pick up Defiance and Nixon for the price of $10 each ($22.60 if taxes are included).

About Me

Well I love computer games that's for sure (if my game collection doesn't say so, I don't know what does). Anyhow I don't have much to say at the moment, but when I get the chance, I'll type something much more informative. ..........actually to tell you the truth, I totally forgot about this........and currently too lazy to bother! Oh well.................
