FilmSpot
Interesting, my first blog post outside of TV.com. Apparently there is a new CNet website; FilmSpot. It seems pretty cool- you can choose your own icon, choose your favorite movies and rate them out of 5 stars, post on the forums, etc. What I like the best is the movie trailers.
The one thing that sets apart from some of the other CNet sites is how the levels work; I haven't quite figured out how it works yet. I think only blog posts and maybe forum posts level you up. Oh well, it's not important. All in all, though, it's a pretty cool site, definitely worth checking out.
In other news, it's midterm season! If it weren't, I would've posted a Christmas blog by now. I was delighted with my haul this year; a GameCube, four games (SSX Tricky, Soul Calibur 2, Super Smash Bros. Melee, and Super Monkey Ball 2), and an iPod nano (3 gigabytes). Oh, and some toffees.
No socks, thank goodness. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to play the GameCube much because we have midterms next week. Every day I've been doing at least an hour of studying for each subject. However, a friend of mine is having a party next Saturday to celebrate the end of the midterms. So there is a light at the end of the tunnel, after all (especially because he has a Wii)
.
Also, I'm glad TV.com has finally caught up with the other 3 sites and now allows us to customize our own icons. Fun fun! Well, I hope everyone has a good weekend, because I'll be stuck inside studying.
Oh well, it'll be worth it to ace them all...hopefully...

My midterms won't be that bad, though, because you pass as long as you get a 60 or higher (not too difficult).
And of course, with all the new features, bugs...
