FilmSpot

Interesting, my first blog post outside of TV.com. Apparently there is a new CNet website; [b][url=www.filmspot.com]FilmSpot[/url][/b]. It seems pretty cool- you can choose your own icon, choose your favorite movies and rate them out of 5 stars, post on the forums, etc. What I like the best is the movie trailers. :D The one thing that sets apart from some of the other CNet sites is how the levels work; I haven't quite figured out how it works yet. I think only blog posts and maybe forum posts level you up. Oh well, it's not important. All in all, though, it's a pretty cool site, definitely worth checking out.

In other news, it's midterm season! If it weren't, I would've posted a Christmas blog by now. I was delighted with my haul this year; a GameCube, four games (SSX Tricky, Soul Calibur 2, Super Smash Bros. Melee, and Super Monkey Ball 2), and an iPod nano (3 gigabytes). Oh, and some toffees. :D No socks, thank goodness. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to play the GameCube much because we have midterms next week. Every day I've been doing at least an hour of studying for each subject. However, a friend of mine is having a party next Saturday to celebrate the end of the midterms. So there is a light at the end of the tunnel, after all (especially because he has a Wii):D. 

Also, I'm glad TV.com has finally caught up with the other 3 sites and now allows us to customize our own icons. Fun fun! Well, I hope everyone has a good weekend, because I'll be stuck inside studying. :x Oh well, it'll be worth it to ace them all...hopefully...
