hot damn im back.
although this post is a couple of days too late.
im back and ready to start picking up mp3.com agian
that is, the metal forum.
since there was an odd relation to my activity, and the activity of the forum.
and i figured i uphold about 98.6% of the metal forum's activity.
praise me, whatever.
im back love.
NEWSFLASH: crisp production< astounding atmosphere
i've been getting this lately:
"filo! i cant hear all the instruments, i'd rather be able to hear it."
me:"what good is a crisp production if it sucks?"
them: but you cant have a lousy production for death metal and gothic metal!
me: ever wonder why those two genre's originality are spread far and few?
now now, dont get me wrong, i love a crisp production
BUT
the best music i've ever heard (agalloch, abusiveness, opeth) all have iffy production
but in exchange, you get this... in lack of a better word, fantastic atmosphere
Pshaw
as a bunch of people now know, im expanding my mp3 horizons by requesting msn screenies
...something is telling me im going to regret this
I win, you lose.
i shall talk about why i am better than you.
recently, i ordered Mournful congregations's dawn of mournful hymns.
FYI: its the compellation album that contains all of MC's old works
and by the laws of underground metal, a bands' demos are their best works.
so, all the demos in one + underground doom band + ordered from japan= damn good album.
now, i shall wait out the excruciating two weeks and i shall get my clammy little hands on it.
O snap, starting a blog
myess, now all i need is fo people to see it now

any metal listener who likes originality should certainly buy it (dont download it cocksuckers this is worth the money)
this band has always been able to creat orignal and brutal music with death metal mixed with egyptian chant music
this album is argualbly their magnum opus.
their music here is brilliant, progressive, and downright heavy as f*ck.
songs like Sarcophagus is surprisingly melodic, while others like Execration Text are insanely brutal
step 1: buy this album
step 2: worship it like the egyptians worshipped Ra
step 3: buy the album agian, nile deserves every penny
they sound very similar to soilworks mid era works (predators portrait, NBC) lets hope these guys dont end up like soilwork also.
my personal favorite song, "reborn" has a pleasant blend of harsh and clean vocals, and agressive, yet melodic riffs
keep up the good work

im an egoist asshole, i feel im better than you, and i'll do anything i can to prove it, kthbai,
