Wolf mother is a Heavy Metal band from Aulstralia that is blowing up like a hot air ballon. Though most of there stuff hasn't hit the states yet (don't worry it will probably) these guy show how much I've missed Sabbath. Granite these guys are gonna need a lot more then 1 album (as of June 2006) to be able to get up there with Sabbath these guys got a lot of potential that shows with there songs. If for some reason you only have 5 dollars, get a iTunes card, download iTunes, and buy the Promo album( about 4 or 6 songs from the album but they are some of the best ones) AND ENJOY.

WOW 2006 has been a great year for music and it is only getting better with these guys. The Album is like taking Black Sabbaths Paranoid mixing it with a Axl rose(Guns And Roses) like singer and putting it with modern tunes(Believe me it it sounds wierd but it is a good thing) and you got the makings of Wolf Mother. The Songs are mostly Sabbath like sounds and the Singer does sound like Axl Rose and Ozzy combined(He actually is reaaaally good). You can tell these songs are inspired by the 70's if you have listened to even 30 seconds of 70s Sabbath or any Heavy Metal (not Death) between the early 70s to 80s. This album shows off what these guys can do very well, with the Awesome Guitar playing, Great Drums and Excellent Vocals and Even better Lyrics these guys can be the final nail in the coffin for a lot of bands, one being The Red Hot Chili Peppers(hey I like them too but RHCP has slowly been losing there luster ever since the early 00's) and may even put the almighty Sabbath to rest for good(again I like them too but jeez these guys are gettin old and Ozzy can't sing the early stuff much longer which sucks cause that it the best stuff Sabbath has done to date.

Jack White(White Stripes),Brandon Benson,Jack Lawrence(The Greenhornes), and Patrick Keeler (same as Jack) come together in there first album, Broken Boy Soldiers. BBS is a short but sweet album that is one of the few albums this year that is a must own.
