Ok iam really upset i just finished explaining a topic in my union about the PlayStation 3 controller, and how it is going to be scrapped and redesigned. Now alot of people that ive heard from think that the original idea of the boomerang controller was a bad idea, but seriously it was amazing. Alot of people think that the controller would be uncomfortable, but you havent held it yet. I tried to picture holding the original PlayStation 3 controller in my head lol i looked at a picture of it and tried to see how it would look and feel like in my hands, and well i came to the conclusion that it would be really confortable. After imagning all this, sony comes out of no where and swift kicks me in the balls with there idea of redesigning it. Alot of people i heard from also hope it will be the same design as the PlayStation 2 controller. Its the next Gen console seriously let it be something out of this world, and the boomerang controller was what sony needed to get the message across that it is a next gen system. Anyways if they do go back to the orignal controller of the PlayStation 2 then atleast change the button design, and a sweet idea i came up with was that they should use gloomy blue light under the buttons layout.

           The best controller i have ever seen.........GONE!!!!

The only problem that I might have with it is if you get angry and decide to throw the controller, it might come back to you and whack you in the head.

I can't seem to figure out why people are so hateful to the PS3 controller. I mean, it looks like a PS2 controller with elongated handles. I don't see why that would make it feel any different.

I wasn't and am still not very fond of that controller . In a way I'm glad they scrap piled that design.

Calling the PS3 a "next-gen" system isn't a good enough call for Sony to completely redesign their controller. The Dual Shock layout is synonomous with the PlayStation, and is the easiest controller to use. Remember that when you say "next-gen", you're only referring to the next generation; the PS2 was "next-gen" about seven years ago, and the controller stayed the same.

It's a stupid thing to complain about, it's sort of like the people that used to make fun of the Xbox for it's size, the controller will be fine, but I got a question, will it have triggers?

Nah, I didn't like the banana controller. I'd rather have something that had like a little shorter handels and a fat middle part so it would be easy to move your hands to the buttons rather than getting your fingers stuck in the little holes on the controller if you know what I mean.

Well, it does look comfortable. It wouldn't matter to me if they changed it or not. Maybe they will come up with a better controller.

Sony must be having low self esteem to care about wut other people think of da PS3 controller. They're just changing da controller just becuz other people are making fun of it. (Not talking about u guys though.)

About Me

Well i like to play videogames alot, the systems i have are Playstation 2 and Xbox. My favourite games i would have to say are Far Cry Instincts, The Prince of Persia trilogy, Grand Theft Auto series, and Brother in Arms. I cant wait for Black to come out and iam sooo looking forward to Playstation 3 release. First person Shooters, Sports, Action Adventure are my favourite catogories in Gaming. I hope in the future to own Playstation 3 and xbox 360.
