This album really does tell a story. About a man gradually growing more and more insane as time goes on. It's a great album that deals with common teen pressures and the life and mind of a person who is in a constant fight with his insanity. Some of the songs are so revealing and gruesome you don't even need a movie to feel the person's pain. It's just absolutely amazing what Pink Floyd has done once again. All in all this album is something that should be enjoyed by anyone who wants to know how they stand in the world. This is one of the few albums that actually made me think, an album that helps you better understand the world around you and the basic facts of life.

This is one of the greatest albums of the 1970's. Dealing with threats that not only corrupted the government of the 70's, but also deal with the problems of today. This album is struck through generations carrying out some of the greatest work on the guitar, drums, and synthesizer you're ears will ever have the pleasure of listening to. This album is not to be played one song at a time. Dark Side of the Moon is THE song. And the 9 parts of the songs are just chapters. The album is almost telling a story of an anonymous person. It's telling us that no matter what we do in life we'll hardly amount to anything. It deals with Greed, Racial issues, and the fact that even are heart is racing against us in a battle of time. Even people today will be amazed at what Pink Floyd has done to music. It's something that's completely different and yet something totall makes sense to everyone.

First off I'd like to say that I'm not some 30 year old longing for the days of old music. Hi I'm 16 and 1970's rock music is some of the greatest tunes that you'll ever have the chance to hear. Pink Floyd is no exception. And even though many people think that Pink Floyd is all about head music (and it is) it delves so much deeper than that. Their music could define the age. Alot of their songs are about the common culute of America. People scraping to get to the top, but figuring out that we all have the same fate. Surreal and thought provoking are only a couple things that can describe this band's greatness. I have listened to their albums over and over and still sparks question marks about what exactly this band is about. Their music never gets old you pick up the pieces of the puzzle that is their albums one by one and you enjoy all the way through.
