Guys.., A R Rahman is a "TAMIL" (a SOUTH-Indian language) music director. All of his tracks which I’ve heard are so tuned to melody and uniqueness… you sometimes get drunk with his music!! There are a couple of other fantastic directors as well... (Illayaraja, Harris Jayaraj, Deva, etc) all from SOUTH-India. Majority movies from this region are never watched in other parts of India as such... instead, RE-MADE/Dubbed to other languages, story and music remaining the same. I have seen this for a number of movies (“Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein”, “Roja”, “Yuva”, etc) – all have its original/origin from Tamil movies. For a long time even I wasn’t aware of this TAIMIL… and for a bigger surprise, Tamil is the world’s most ancient language with proofs of their literature works being the oldest-surviving ones!!! I’m actually digging out some songs from TAMIL and believe me... they are all awesome superb!!!!
