It's good to be back
Ihave not been around for a long time mainly down to school, going out and the cricket season starting again. I did get to go to the British grand prix at the sliverstone circuit which was brilliant for any F1 nut like me. I missed all of the E3 live shows but I did catch some of the highlights and was not impressed at all with Nintendo and Wii Fit, there felt like there was nothing for the so called "hardcore" gamer at all. I have however picked up quite a few games. 2 for Wii ,4 for DS , 3 for PS2 , 2 for GC and 1 gba game so, lots of reviews to write and posts to write.I can't wait to get off level 20,
Back soon!
A Wash Out at Headingley Stadium
Today I went to the 3rd day of the 2nd test of England v West Indies and I was very disappointed as there was no cricket at all but I did meet England Batsman Andrew Strauss, England Coach Peter Moores and West Indies Batsman Shivnarine Chanderpaul. So that made up for it and I bought a ticket for tomorrow so I am hoping to see some cricket!
EA games on my Wii!
The Cricket World Cup
Good News and Bad News in Sport
The bad news (for me) was Middlesbrough drawing with Manchester United 2-2 and now they have play at Old Trafford and just hope they can win but they did get a dodgy penalty.
The Good news is the Cricket World Cup is about to begin! Come on England!!!
I have one new game Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz for the Wii which is quite fun and relaxing to play but it gets hard.
See you soon!
100 Games
Just got 100 games, the last one I got was Red Steel and hope to be getting a whole lot more for my Wii and DS by the end of this year.
And Another Thing Week 1
I am going to start doing my blog weekly. So here it is, It's been half term so at the last weekend I got The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess and I have just finished the 3rd dungeon. Tomorrow I am getting Excite Truck and a new cd, Paolo Nutini, These Streets. My badly bruised finger has fully recovered so now I can play in goal for football again. School next week so that's going to be rubbish.
See you next week!
Great time to be a English Sports fan!!!
On the 2nd of February 2007 The England Cricket team recored a great and unexpected win over Australia in the one day International Triangular series winning by 92 runs and picking up a bonus point. The whole teams batting was brilliant (for a change) with Ed Joyce getting 107 runs and Ian Bell picking up 51 runs also. England finished the 50 overs with 292 runs. Then as play resumed and Liam Plunkett bowled Adam Gilchrist out with the first ball and at the end Australia were all out for 200 with Plunkett and Mahmood bowling well.
3rd of February 2007 The England Rugby team beat Scotland 42-20 in the Six Nations. Jonny Wilkinson made his return to England since the 2003 world cup final (against Australia) He inspired England, he was in every attacking move and he scored 27 points (1 try 2 con 5 pens and 1 drop goal) J Robinson got 2 tries and M Lund got the final try. So thanks to Jonny Wilkinson England could win the Six Nations. Good Luck to the England team that play Spain it could be a Hat Trick of wins!
