Been a while..

Anyone remember me?

Been a while since I blogged, whats been up with everyone?

Let me try to cover a lot in this one blog.

First, I turned 17 on the 10th. So yeah. I didn't do too much that day, just went to school, then lunch with family, then a movie, then dinner with friends. So yeah, not too much. I had my party yesterday, and it was very awesome.

Here are some pics of me and my friends --

Yeah fine, maybe we're goofy. But hey, atleast we had fun.

Other than that, school has been pretty normal. We had an interschool basketball tournament, so we got to miss a lotta cl*sses, which is always good. I have exams from the end of September though, so that part sucks.

The love life has been good and bad. I got myself a girl, then I lost her sometime later. *shrug*

Now let me get to some TV shows, Movies and Writing:

TV

One Tree Hill season 6 is back. I've just seen the first episode, and it was.. okay. Different. Funny sometimes, weird sometimes, boring sometimes. Heck, I'm probably gonna end up watching the whole season anyway. *shrug*

Gossip Girl season 2 is back too. I've only seen the premiere. It was okay. Just.. okay. Couldve been much better, IMO. But heck, even the pilot sucked, so who knows?

Weeds has been pretty damn crappy this new season. So I haven't really been tuning in. Eh, maybe I will in a while.

Entourage season 4 is back too, which is great, but I still need to finish the third season.

Other than those, I've been watching --

Skins series 2. Series 1 was pretty damn good, Series 2 has been a little slow till now. But hey, it's still an awesome show. I'm also gonna start watching Big Love, sounds interesting. I'm even watching the Hills, but not regularly. Its pretty eh.

Bones season 2 has been great too. First crime-type show I've seen in a long time. Other than that, its been the same old TV.

*

Movies

Rushmore --

Rating: 3.5 on 5.

It was really funny, and when I found out how old it was, I was pretty impressed at how good it looked. The music was awesome too, just making it better overall.

Prom Night --

Rating: 3.5 on 5.

It wasn't a horror movie, not close. But I had really low expectations, and it beat them to bits. I mean, sure, it was cliche and everything, but I still found it pretty damn good. For a thriller. Not a horror.

What Happens In Vegas --

Rating: 3 on 5.

Cliche - yes. Boring - yes. Funny - also yes. Enough said. Don't miss the end. "You know why!"

Next To See --

1. The Killing Of John Lennon
2. Behind The Mask : The Rise Of Leslie Vernon
3. The Black Dahlia
4. Into The Wild
5. Journey To The Center Of The Earth
6. Righteous Kill
7. Water Horse
8. The Air I Breathe

*

Writing --

I havent done too much writing lately. I did finish chapter three of Pictures of You, but no one here reads it anyway. I also wrote another chapter of my crack! fic, Breaking Bella, so if anyone wants to read..

Chapter 4... We're So Safe

Cedric, Armaan and Jess make their way to Hogwarts. Bella along with Karen and Robin try to keep up so that the story doesn't become boring.

*

Well that's basically all for now. Gotta go eat yesterdays leftovers.

Later.

It was like citrus, the way it ate through me.

Hey everyone. Whatsup?

Been a long time since I blogged.

But I won't do a big ass blog about things separately.

Here's a couple of things that happened --

1. School started. It isn't as crappy as I'd expected it to be. Maybe cause I have only a few months left, I'm actually starting to like it.

2. I saw The Dark Knight. It was freakin' awesome. The Joker pwns all. Now I don't feel ashamed for painting my face and taking photos a bit ago. You didn't know I did that? Well, now you do.

3. I heard Riot! by Paramore. It was pretty eh, but I liked a couple of songs a lot. I'm ashamed to like them though, since they sound so bloody generic this time round.

4. I finished another Pictures Of You 2 chapter, its near 8000 words. An all time high... so woohoo! Have to still post it online. By tomorrow, definitely. For those of you who care, I'm even writing 2 chapters each of Dean! I'm A Woman and Hide & Seek 2 (12/21), asap.

That's basically all.

I have a Maths unit paper (like a mini-exam) tomorrow. It's not a biggie, but I'm still s*** worried, since it's Maths. Hopefully I won't mess it up.

Well, thats all. What's new with you guys?

Later.

I wish we all could win.

Hey everyone, whastup?

Life:

Well, school starts in less than a week. I am kinda tired of going out almost everyday, but I still think it beats going to school every day. On the bright side, I got my SAT result, and its..

2020!

I was so frickin happy. I was literally jumping up and down for 10 minutes yelling 'f*** yeah!' It was like a coffee meets crack commercial. But anywho, I got a 700 in writing, 680 in reading and 640 in maths. Woo! It's a great jump from my first attempt -- 1810. So woohoo!

Oh, and I'm looking for a good camera. Something sturdy, between 8 to 13 megapixel, hopefully with good focus, manual settings and zoom. Any suggestions, anyone?

Writing:

Chapter 4... Sleep

Bevin and the others return to the hotel after a night of partying. Brooke discusses her visions with Karen. And a visitor disturbs one of the teens.. but which one?

I'll update pictures of you 2 and 12/21 again, in a day or two.

Movies:

Capote

Rating: 3.5 on 5.

It was really brilliant, not a movie I'd plan on seeing again (not because it wasn't good, but because of its heavy subject matter). Phillip Seymour Hoffman acted brilliantly, as did the actor who did the part of Perry Smith. I felt horrible after it ended, and didn't know whose side to really be on. I tuned into Infamous the night before I saw this one, but didn't get to see more than 10 minutes of the latter, so I really can't compare the two. I hear this one is better, and I don't doubt it is Definitely worth a watch.

Made Of Honour

Rating: 3.5 on 5.

I don't care what people say -- copy of My Best Friend's Wedding? So what, I didn't see that one. And its from a guys point of view, how could it be the same? Sure, cliches are gonna be there, but arent there cliches in almost every romantic comedy? And I actually did laugh quite a lot, and except for a few mushy bits here and there, it was pretty alright. Worth a watch aswell, but for entirely different reasons. Mind you, pervy jokes are many. And dont miss the beginning, you'll get to see Patrick Dempsey somehow look atleast 20 years younger. It was creepy, but somehow accurate. But in the end, I didnt expect too much, and I wasnt let down.

21

Rating: 3 on 5.

Well, everyone told me it was alright. And it was.. just alright. But it was really fun at the same time. It was a little cliched, somehow, but the end made it different -- even if I did hate the end. But other than that, it was a great movie to check out. Fast paced, smart, and funny too. Definitely worth atleast one watch, its not all about blackjack, you know?

One Missed Call

Rating: 1.5 on 5.

Are you kidding? If I was seeing this in a movie hall, I'd have thrown things at the screen, begging for it to end. The plot went a hundred different useless ways, no scares whatsoever, storyline was quite laughable. Barely passable as a C grade horror/comedy. Key word in that sentence -- Barely. Give it to your enemies, make 'em suffer a bit.

The Incredible Hulk

Rating: 3 on 5.

Keep in mind that I hate The Hulk as well.. a what? Is it a superhero? Anywho, it wasn't bad. Good, actually, compared to the first, which was just.. torture. Edward Norton is much better suited, IMO, to play The Hulk than Eric Bana. The ending was not as spectacular as I expected, though, and the movie still left me unimpressed by the Hulk. Maybe fans of the comics will like it. It was passable, not crappy at all, worth a watch I suppose.

The Happening

Rating: 3.5 on 5.

I don't understand the whole 'this movie sucks' thing people have going on. Okay, it wasn't mindblowingly good (no pun intended) or anything, but it wasn't bad. Not at all. There were a few moments when I looked at my friend and we had the same 'wtf' expression on our faces due to some really stupid scenes, but other than that, it wasn't bad. I mean, really. See it and judge. Its pretty good. Especially the opening couple of scenes.

Eurotrip

Rating: 2.5 on 5.

I was expecting a lot. Maybe thats why I was so greatly disappointed. I mean, sure, it has Michelle Trachtenberg, and sure, its poking fun at European people , but other than that, it's pretty.. eh. Not that funny, leaving a few scenes, and Vinnie Jones and that creepy Italian guy. But hey, watch the movie, just for those three reasons. *shrugs*

A saw a couple more, lol, but I can't remember them. Must've sucked even more than One Missed Call.

Next to watch:
1. The Black Dahlia
2. The Invisible
3. Hairspray (does it suck? Cause I hate musicals.)
4. Into The Wild
5. Requiem For A Dream
6. American Pie 1
7. The Assassination Of Jesse James by The Coward Robert Ford
8. Transformers

*

For music, I've been hearing a lot of famous overrated crap I'm ashamed of lately, so I'll just skip telling you the titles.

Until then, later.
