If you want to clear out a neighborhood, turn this on. It is horrendous. I can almost hear my ears bleed as I listen to this defouling of a masterpiece, from the Rising. This comes from a video shown at the end of the Rising Tour and I think it did the job. I can imagine it did the job, crowds must have run out to escape the video.

There are some songs I hate, I hate Countin' On a Miracle from the Essential. But I love this one. It really catches me. If you let the voice sink in and bear it one or two listens things will get better. It's catchy and it brings a sense of innocense when his wife and children provide the backing vocals.

I liked Springsteen as an acoustic singer. Nebraska is a masterpiece, but the sound quality throws it off. The Ghost of Tom Joad is alright, but I couldn't find myself listening to it over and over again.
Now, I'm here. I'm listening to Devils & Dust nonstop and I just can't get enough. Every song is growing on me.
This is an album that grabs you and doesn't let you go. The only thign you might let yourself do is flip around the album to hear the DVD tracks.

I love Dylan. This is my favorite studio album of his. It's really catchy. It's one of the best albums ever recorded. I find myself listening to this album a lot. I really think the best albums haven't been produced in a long time. Dylan went electric with this one and he creates a masterpiece.

The Bootleg Series, Vol. 5: Bob Dylan Live 1975 - The Rolling Thunder Revue""
In 1975, Bob Dylan and the Rolling Thunder Revue went around and pretended to be a medicine show. This album was released containing preformances from 4 of those shows. What it captures is a masterpiece. Dylan is on the top of his game, the band is incredibly responsive. This is what Dylan should be known for. None of the songs on this album should be skipped, each and every one is a further dive into the perfection that was achieved by the Rolling Thunder Revue.
