President Obama
The election is finally over. Personally, I'm happy with the outcome. I voted for Obama and I sincerely hope that he can live up to his promises and do good for our country. I was a little disturbed to see OT's response though. Here are a few of my favorite replies from the election thread in OT:
"America died today, they sold their soul to satan and will get cerberus. I am ashamed to say I live here."
"WE NEED LEE HARVEY OSWALD NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"Obama sure does want to deny being white in any way..
Screw Obama and his reverse racist crap.
I guess racism is okay as long as your 'black' as Obama.
RACISM IS WRONG PERIOD.
I'm also not going to pay forever because I'm white for racist acts others made in the past or tolerate racist attitudes towards me from anyone..any color..for any reason.I treat everyone equally and I want the same treatment back.I'm sick of the racist **** and paying for the past I had nothing to do with..
At least his big bobblehead makes an easy target..
BOOM HEADSHOT!!!!"
Now, I know that not all McCain supporters are like this and that there are Obama supporters that are just bad but it just pisses me off that there are people like this. It's stuff like this that reminds me why I stopped going to OT so much.
Happy Election Day
2nd Jack-o-Lantern (Cars)
Just finished the 2nd carving. This one's the main guy from Cars that I made for my cousin. Fortunately, it was nowhere near as hard as The Joker.
This Year's Jack-O-Lantern (Joker)
Every year I carve at least one pumpkin around Halloween. I just finished one tonight and it was probably the hardest one I've ever done. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out so I figured I'd post it here for everyone to see.

In case anyone was wondering, I got the stencil for this at zombiepumpkins.com.
Working Man
I just got back from my first day at my first job. I'm working at Michael's, which is an arts & crafts store that I've only been to about 2 times in my life. We just did training today and it didn't seem too bad. I'm probably not gonna remember everything they taught me today but I should be able to get the hang of things within a week or two.
While we were walking around the store learning about restocking, our trainer asked a customer if they needed help and the customer just went off on her about how the store never has what she wants in stock and how she has to waste her time and gas money going to other stores to find things. I'm hoping that I don't have to deal with a lot of those kinds of people.
I start my first day of actual work on Wednesday and I get paid $7.25 an hour. I'm excited about the money but not too thrilled about the work. There was also this girl in training with me today who looked exactly like my ex-girlfriend and even had the same name. I don't really have anything to say about that, I just thought it was a little weird.
