Star Trek TOS Season 1 on blu ray

For the true purist, it's probably offensive what Paramount has done to spruce up the episodes, but in all honesty I think it's so COOL!!!!!!!! It's very pretty, the sound is amazing, the pictures are nice and crisp and clear again - it's like being a kid again and watching them all for the first time. That's saying something too, because I've been watching this show since I was six and I can't even imagine how many times I've seen each episode.

Glad to hear you enjoyed it, seems to be the general opinion. I am not a fan of Star Trek or sci-fi in general so I don't think I'll give it a go. Hugs

Oh, that's great!!! I just hate the fact that they edited the episodes from there original uncut form. Have fun!!!

Scott: I haven't noticed any editing as yet, but we're only just into the first disc. I'll let you know how bad the editing is - I wasn't kidding when I said I have no clue how many times I've seen every episode, but I'm sure I'll notice it if the cuts are severe. I was determined not to pay $100+ for each season on dvd when they came out, but this was only $60 and I just couldn't resist
