Recent Reviews
Nobody has reviewed this yet? Jeeze. Well I just purchased this album recently. Catch 33 introduced me to Meshuggah, followed by I. I loved their stuff, but wanted to have it in a more accesible form. Catch 33 needs to be listened to as an album, and of course I is twenty minutes long. So I finally found DEI in best buy and snagged it. It was everything I was hoping for. The brilliance and brutality of Meshuggah in one solid album. All the songs are great, but as the critic said they may blend together for new listeners. Sometimes they even blend for me, but I don't mind because it rocks. : ) This is must have for anyone's metal collection!

Holy Monkey. No one has written a review for this yet. Well let me say that this a wonderful album! Geoff's vocals are great - sometimes smooth and sometimes brutal. Tight guitar and drumwork. The lyrics paint vivid images and stir emotions mostly of anger and sadness. But it makes me so happy! Hehehe. All together, the lyrics, vocals, and instrumentation create a rich, dynamic, emotional package. All of the songs are well written and are individual and contain a variety of themes including politics, love, and simply, life. Some may complain its just "more whiny emo." That's bs.

Ya SchecterHound was me.
I don't appreciate the critic's review on this one. This is a great album. I have no problem fully enjoying the music these guys offer. Their music is catchy but I don't mind having it in my head. I like all the songs on this album especially Dynomite, Alive, and Let's Talk Turkey. It rocks!

I spotted this album while shopping at my local record store and was intrigued by the cover art. So I went home and listened to some samples offline. I had been listening to a lot of Death Metal as usual at the time, and the clean vocals and production of this album was refreshing to me. So I decided to pick it up and I the album has grown a lot on me since I first listened. I enjoy the guitar and keyboard solos and the vocal harmonies are nice. My favorite tracks are Gravenimage, Victoria's Secret, and The Misery.

This album is so phat. Muahaha! It makes me happy. This album is full of sick instrumentation by each member, though I must say Paul's guitar stands out the most to me. Still that's probably because I play guitar - the whole band is extremely tight. The blend of brutal and peaceful sounds is refreshing and the band's take on each is flawless. My favorite tracks are All Bodies, Selkies, and Laser Speed.
