Wow. That's the first thing I said after finishing hearing this entire album. MF Grimm and MF Doom are just incredible when they work together. Doom's catchy beats combined with Grimm's verses are just a thing of beauty. Grimm not only brings his gritty style into the mix, such as with the track "War Paint", but he also manages to bring some of his soul into his work on the track "10 Years Later", which he dedicates to a fallen comrade. Though some of the tracks feature previously heard beats from Doom and Grimm's respective collections, Grimm's new verses still make hearing these songs feel like a new experience. If you're fan of hip-hop in general, I highly recommend this album, and if you're a fan of Doom or Grimm, than this is an essential to your collection. Everytime these two get together they manage to tear things up, this album is no expection.

This is the first time I ever heard of MF Doom, and I have to say I am impressed. My favorite track on the CD is Hoe Cakes, but all the beats are nice and MF's words flow smoothly from one sentence to the next. There are also some funny lines made by editing the voices of the old Fantastic Four cartoon. However, the album takes a huge break in the middle with 4(!) consecutive skits. This makes the album nearly impossible to listen to all the way through. It would have been far better to separate them, but I guess it shouldn't impact the listener that much. Other than that, this CD is a welcome addition to any Doom fan's collection.
