Help me choosing a sig.

Which one should I decorate my posts with?

Option #1: An updated version of my current Samus Sig.

Option #2: Braid Sig.

Option #3: Dead Space Sig.

I had some free time, so I made not one but two sigs and updated my current one, and now I don't know which one should I use D:

Thanks in advance, gentlemen.

Greetings to all.

Where are my side-scrollers?

I've been playing some very good 2D side-scrollers lately (you know, that awesome mix of platforming and shooting), and as always, I'm impressed by how fun -and addictive-they can be.

I've been playing Contra 4, Mega Man X and Castlevania Circle of the Moon.

Some mandatory pics:

I can only say the three games are awesome. The gameplay, the intense action, the challenge, the graphics, etc, everything is done how it is supposed to be.

So my question is, what the hell are Konami and Capcom doing?

It's about time for a Contra 5 and a new Mega Man ZX.

And Nintendo? What about a 2D Metroid on the DS? And SEGA? Where's my Sonic Rush 3?

And the other devs? The only good side-scrollers I can remember this year are Henry Hatsworth for the DS and The Dishwasher for XBLA. That's two in 6 months... That's not enough side-scrolling, I say.

What do you guys think? Do you want more ol' 2D games, or are you having enough fun in 3D-realm?

Greetings to all.

E-74'ed

Yup. My dear 360 is momentary dead.

Just after a little 5-hours-marathon of Gears of War 2 online and a couple of hours of Fallout 3 (has that game an end?), it happened.

"E-74 Please contact Microsoft consumer support"

For those of you that don't know, Error 74 is (another) hardware fault of the 360, somehow related to the video output, I've heard.

Well, that was one of the risks I knew I was taking when I bought it. Nonetheless I'm kinda disappointed.

Thanks to the warranty, everything will be free, but I still have to wait 2-3 weeks, short after I became Gold again...

*Sigh*

I'll be back to my Wii and DS. Too bad I'm broken and the last bunch of games I bought was for the 360, so I don't have anything new for any of both.

C' est la vie.

I'll play Super Paper Mario and Yoshi's Island again (my life's SO sad )

Greetings to all.

From Jacinto to Africa, when voice chat showed its value

I, personally, have always thought voice chat is incredible overrated and mostly useless, if not annoying.

90% of the people only scream, sing randomly, make bad jokes, racist comments, etc.

And, after all, why the hell would somebody want to random chat with a bunch on unknown guys?

Those were my thought until last week, when a possibility that hadn't crossed my mind happened:

What if you chat with somebody you know?

A good friend of mine (that studies in a different city) wanted to replay Gears f War 2, and since I had already done it on Insane, I decided to let him a hand and on the way get the nice achievement.

The result? Around 10 hours of godly co-op fun. Gears 2 campaign is smartly built for co-op play.

One week later came RE5, and after the shock because of the forced co-op, I convinced him to get it. We finished the whole game on Veteran and I'm glad we did it together. RE5 is a BLAST in co-op.

The point? I simply can't imagine how a co-op game would work without voice chat. Not only were the games themselves incredible fun in co-op, but also were the occasional jokes, anecdotes, and nonsense talk. The lack of actual contact would immediately cost the co-op experience half of its attractiveness.

We plan to play the first Gears, Army of Two and maybe RE5 again. The possibility to play all those games with a good buddy in such way makes Live more than worthy, imho.

Any suggestions of good co-op games?

Greetings to all.
