E 1999 Eternal

E 1999 Eternal, made by the greatest rap group ever is the greatest rap album ever! Every song on this album is great, which you can only say for a few albums...like Warren G's Regulate the G-Funk Era and Wu-Tang's Enter the Wu Tang 36 Chambers. What I loved about this album was that it was a completely laid-back chill album, the type of music I love and what Bone masters at. My favorite song on the whole album is East 1999. No choruses, no pauses just all of Bone rapping and quickly passing it to the next member in a smooth, and awe-inspiring way. No other group can trade of verses back in forth like Bone. They play freakin hot potato with their verses so effortlessly. And the beat for the song was awesome, sounded like a beat you'd here on a horror flick. Other stand-out tracks were 1st of the Month which unique beat gave it a flavor unlike most songs at that time. Budsmokers Only and Buddah Lovaz were great weed-dedicated tracks...especially Buddah Lovaz. Loved the beautiful beat and Bone singing on it gave it a nice topping on it. Die Die Die was great especially when Bizzy says "Naw bitch you lie yo funky ass on the ground, now!" was real funny. And Bone ends the CD with style on Shotz to tha double glock.

A timeless album and like I said there hasn't been a better rap album before or since on the level of E 1999 Eternal.

Thug Stories

Ok, before I start this review I just wanna say that I'm a Huge Bone Thugs-N-Harmony fan and supported them from the first song I ever heard of them. So when I heard they were coming back and doing their first album since Thug World Order which was alright, I was excited! Even when I heard Bizzy wasn't on it and that's another thing. Peeps always say without Bizzy Bone ain't the same that's true, but it's not like Bone is horrible without him and this album proves it...so enough with all this let's go song by song.

1-Intro: Awesome intro, 2nd best Bone intro ever, 2nd to Da Introduction off of East 1999 Eternal. 10/10
2-Call Me: Decent track. If ya like the calm, smooth Art of War Bone then you'll love it. 7/10
3-Thug Stories: Nice beat, vivid depiction of...well, Thug Stories. 7/10
4-She Got Crazy: Loved the beat for this one. It was new hearing Bone using one like this but they made it work great. Loved the chorus..."I jumped up, got my coat and walked outta the door, cause she got a lil bit crazy." 8/10
5-Don't Stop: This song feels like Bone from Thug World Order, and that's not a bad thing in this case. Nice song, real nice. The chorus is cool with the squeaky little lady voice in the back. 9/10
6-Do It Again: Loved It! Loved It! A great party track here. All of Bone was on it for this one, the beat, lyrics, everything on this was perfect! 10/10
7-So Sad: A nice 70s throwback beat with a little hip-hop thrown it. Cool beat. Bone talkin about Slimely, Grimey women as Krayzie put it. 6/10
8-Fire: This track here has Top 10 written all over it if Bone pushes this one. Awesome beat, Wish and Krayzie did an awesome chorus together and all 3 Bone members flowed beautifully on this. 10/10
9-What You See: Bone going back to their violent roots on this one. Cool like "Coming to get ya" beat...murda music, I guess you could say. Liked it. 7/10
10-Stand Not in Our Way: Cool beat, cool song, liked Krayzie's chorus on this one. 7/10
11-Still No Surrender: Krayzie had a nice chorus on this and Wish did good backing him on it. Loved the beat...great song. Nice follow up to the original No Surrender. 10/10
12-This Life: Sounded like a movie song for like Star Wars or somthing...wasn't to impressed with this one, this didn't really excite me. 4/10

This album lived up to this expections because most weren't really expecting much to be honest...I'll admit I was one of them. I expcted some good music but went beyond what I though I was gonna get. Some classic bone tracks on this, some decent, and some...no...you know what I mean. If you're a dedicated Bone fan like me. Get It!!! If not, it's up to you
Final Tally: 95/120
