Luke... I am your father!

I dislike the new layout. Many of us are doing something about it. Follow these rules and join the Dark side.

on 9/29/08 log out of tv.com for 24 hours. also follow these rules.

1. Blog about this - Particularly important on Monday Sept. 29 to declare you are logging off for 24 hours and to post the "gone dark" avi

2. Comment in all your favorite show forums AFTER you have changed your signature line to the new banner. BUT keep your comments about the shows and in line with the topic of the thread or you will get them deleted.

3. Leave comments on all your friend's blogs (again, comments that are appropriate to the blog)

4. Change your avi now to the "gone dark" one

Why do this?

There are limited ways (without getting TOS mods) to call attention to our protest to those outside our circle of friends.

The avi and signature lines are totally acceptable ways to do this.

Every forum post you make has both your avi and signature line as a part of it.

Every comment you leave on any blog has your avi.

These things (particularly if seen spreading across the site) may peak curiosity. So if anyone clicks on your avi and you've blogged about it, they will know what's what.

If anyone clicks on your signature banner (if you use it) they will automatically go to my original blog and know what's what.

The blackout is for the 24 hour period in your timezone.

One click on the site during that period will count as you NOT taking part in the protest. Be sure to check to see bookmarks and "auto-login" features are appropriately set so you don't "accidentally" negate your participation.

Please don't let up. I have had several messages from now several mods and staff saying that we have already been noticed and that now the attitude is "wait and see if this is a big deal or not" on the part of management.

IT IS a big deal, it is our voice and we deserve to have one. Moreover, we deserve to have our requests for changes to the site WE BUILT listened to.

Remember to log back on Oct. 1 with your "Top 5 Changes" list and please keep pushing for the support of your friends. Thank you very much!

Particular thanks to tjaman for the avi and for the signature banner.

The avi is here:

To add the signature banner:

Change ALL the { } bracket combinations to [ ] and then save it by going to your "prefs" option, then to the "Boards" tab and paste the option in your "My Signature" box.

Nothing going on here, kids...

First of all, there is absolutely nothing wrong with these videos. The problem is with the gutter-minds that we all have.

Barney! How could you?

There goes my childhood

And there goes someone else's childhood.

Satanic video game... of course.

Glitch: double post.

Prom and Superfriends.

Yay. I went to prom yesterday. I had fun, despite learneing that I couldn't dance these new-fangled hip-hop beats. I'm more of a ballroom guy. I did, however, get some nice, hard-core booty dancing in.

I was driven by my cousin. We had our own Caddilac van. Afterparty... not so much. We went to a club. On the first wall I saw, "Occupancy by more than 75 persons is both dangerous and unlawful."

There were ALOT more than 75 persons. It was "Dangerous and unlawful" times 4

I danced for 5 minutes, decided it was too hot upstairs (really, there were at least 100 people at the top dancing and sweating), and went downstairs, only to have to constantly dodge vomit, as my Ivory rental tuxedo seemed to look like a toilet to many random drunks.

I left for home about 4AM, glad that I had not fallen asleep early, as I heard the most hilarious line from the greatest comedian ever: Mitch Hedberg (RIP)

Mitch: I got in an argument one time, but it sucked cuz I was in a tent. The thing about arguing in a tent is that there's no way to leave that would properly express my anger. What'm I conna do? Slam the flap?

Okay... Maybe I was tired, but the three of us were ROFL'ing.

Anyway, I rejoice. Theredrobin is back.

Oy... I'd rather be turned over to Azula.

I took the AP Calculus Test today... As I just signed 5 pages of stuff saying I won't reveal the questions, I'll just say that it was a b*tch

It was just... not cool, man.

My trip to Disneyworld(land?)

"The most Magical Place on Earth.".. My left testi-er- earlobe! more like "Where a PB&J costs 7 fricking bucks." or maybe "Where rides can cause injury to the groin" or even "Where the Hotel Staff Breaks Into Your Room and Steals Your Cell Phone, Leaving the Room Door Open So That Other Hotel Tenants can Subseqently Trash Said Room." and finally: "Where You Meet the Girl of Your Dreams and Can't Get Her Phone Number because the Hotel Staff Breaks Into Your Room and Steals Your Cell Phone, Leaving the Room Door Open So That Other Hotel Tenants can Subseqently Trash Said Room."

I went to DisneyWorls(land?) in Florida as a senior trip.

Day 1: My phone (BlackBerry Pearl) Was Stolen while my roommates and I were at the pool. We returned to our room to find all our stuff trashed, and our suitcases in the bathtub... full of water.

Day2: Ditched by the posse. Gone to Epcot (Phoneless) Searhing for them. Didn't Find them. Went back to hotel after riding Mission: Space. Got tons of crap yelled at me by chaperone for going phoneless.

Day 3: Grad Nite. Magic Kingdom park open till 4AM. Went on everything(It's a Small World included.) entered Arcade at 3AM. Met awesome, super-hot, Puerto Rican chick who understood all my Avatar references. Was too busy getting my ass kicked at Tekken to ask her name and Phone number. Struck up conversation with her after our game of Tekken, which was cut short by her cell phone. She had to leave. Instantly. Dream Girl: Gone forever.

Day 4: Sunday: Went to MGM Studios. Rode Tower of Terror. Hurt groin. Unfortunate and painful. Merits no further description.

Day 5: leaving. uneventful until bus ride home. Bladder caved in. Used Souvenir mug as last resort. Is now "Boy who p!ssed in a mug on the bus."
