Heyy friends!

So this is probably the 50th blog you've read about the new TV.com layout. But yeah. I really, really don't like it. The white is like blinding my retinas. Grr.

As far as TV goes, I just got into 'Bones'. And I'm really enjoying it. If any of you guys watch the show, you'll probably find this weird, but I actually prefer the Angela/Hodgins relationship over the Booth/Bones relationship (or lack thereof). Beyond the relationships, I like how smart the show is.

And yeah--with the Emmys. This is the first year I've watched the show all the way through. And coincidently, the last year. There was so many, too many, snubs. The only Emmy that was truly deserved was Jean Smart's. Other than that..Yeah.

So, monday was my first day back to college..for sophomore year. Wee! Surprisingly enough, this semester is looking to be my easiest yet.

Compared to my very stressful freshman year, I'm liking how this year is shaping up.

On another note, the fall TV season is upon us. I'm so stoked! Though with 11 (ok, 12) shows a week, its hard not to be..

In other news, I got back last week from a week in Riveria Maya, Mexico! It. was. amazing! So gorgeous! I needed a break, and a break was definitely what i got!

P.S. I'm thinking of starting a One Tree Hill fanfic. And I have a few ideas rolling around in my head, but I'd love some input from others. Right now, I'm thinking a Leyton & Keiren very fluffy piece..but nothing is set in stone.

Wow! It's been absolutely forever since my last blog post! Sorry guys!!

How's everyone's summer going? Mine's been ok. I took 3 summer courses: Abnormal Psych, Oral Communications, and Macroeconomics. Started at the end of May and just got done this past week! Got my grades a couple days ago..AND I MADE THE DEAN'S LIST! Yay me!

So other than that, I've just been hanging out with friends, movies, shopping..the usual. I saw Brooks & Dunn and Daughtry a couple weeks ago. Both were amazing! And I'm going to Mexico in a week and a half so I'm pretty excited about that. Should be fun!

And on the TV front, I just realized that I'm going to be watching 11 shows a week come fall. AHH!

Mondays: The Big Bang Theory, Samantha Who?, One Tree Hill, Boston Legal.
Tuesdays: The Secret Life of the American Teenager**.
Wednesdays: Pushing Daisies, Private Practice.
Thursdays: Ugly Betty, Grey's Anatomy, The Office.
Fridays: Monk**.

**Thankfully these two are "summer" shows so they'll be on hiatus until January soon.

So, on another note, I just got hard core into One Tree Hill, I'm talking Gilmore Girls level into. I adore it. It's so much drama, but its tasteful..I dunno..hard to explain. But its awesome!
My favorite two couples are Lucas and Peyton, and Keith and Karen. They're..*swoon*..

Well, I guess that's it for now. Hopefully, I'll update my blog again in the near future and not wait 3 months next time!

Ok, so disappoint doesn't even begin to describe what I feel about "Chasing Zoey". Nick hyped it up soooo much I was expecting like..I dunno..Casablanca or something. Yeah right! The only part worth mentioning was the Chase/Zoey kiss [which was pretty decent], and Michael [freaking about Chase and then about Chase and Zoey as BF and GF..] Anyone else majorly disappointed? Or I guess the better question would be who wasn't disappointed?

Moving on from "Chasing Zoey"..my freshman year of college is nearly over..thank goodness. And even though I'm going full time this summer too, it feels like I'm finally getting a much needed break!

P.S. May 15th is coming up..which means one year since Gilmore Girls ended..I'm wearing my tee shirt i made last year. Anyone else doing anything special?

So because of my mad love for ASP I'm devoting a blog to the cancellation of her "new" baby- "The Return of Jezebel James". Fox just cancelled it yesterday- after a 3 episode run. Uh, can you say rude? First off, they put it on on Fridays..and then they cancel it after 3 episodes?? Sure it wasn't GG but it did have Parker Posey and Lauren Ambrose on board, so how bad could it possibly suck?

Ya know, after the supreme being that was 'Gilmore Girls' ended [freakin' Alexis], I knew it was going to be hard for ASP to write another hit show, but honestly, Fox didn't even give her a chance to get the show off the ground.  

Amy Sherman Palladino is perhaps one of the greatest TV writers our generation has ever seen, as evidenced in "Gilmore Girls", but with the swift ending of her new show you gotta question whether the old saying may be true-

..Lightning doesn't strike twice.
