Unstoppable! Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia. COMPLETE!
Yep, I took down another game. Another satsifying ending, I suppose. Although, honestly, not really remarkeable. Still a nice ending. ![]()
This one took me a bit longer since the final boss was insane. I basically spent a lot of time leveling up and finding better equipment and items and such. I sold some items to buy potions and other restoratives.
But, honestly, the last fight took less than 2 minutes. It was epic when the boss went down.
But now I'm onto beating Final Fantasy IV, and Baten Kaitos 1. Final Fantasy IV I know is going to take me quite a while yet, but I'm making really fast pace on Baten Kaitos. I started playing again only 2 days ago and I'm already on the second disc, with over 20 something hours into it. Apparently the game is about 40, so hopefully I'm a little over halfway there.
The voice acting is unbelievably bad, so I turned it off and the game's much more involving and immersive. Maybe they realized how terrible their voice acting was and decided to give the option to players to turn it off. More games should have that. ![]()
So the games I still have left and am willing to try to beat are the two mentioned above, Final Fantasy X, Majora's Mask, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, and maybe Paper Mario 64.
On FIRE! The World Ends With You. COMPLETE!
Yep, I beat the World Ends With You. I beat it at level 51, which I'm told might be a bit underpowered. Still, that's just how I do things. ![]()
The last boss was epic, but not as hard as I thought. Still challenging, but well designed. Once you figure out how to beat it, it's still a challenge, sort of like a Castlevania boss.
Speaking of which, that's the next game I'm going to beat. Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia. I got stuck because, although I knew what I was supposed to do, I couldn't find the area again. I got lost. But that's about to change.
Can't stop me! ![]()
Final Fantasy XII! COMPLETE!
Finally, after 63 hours, I beat Final Fantasy XII. Took like, 2 years, but I did it. Anyway, epic last boss and cutscenes and satisfying story conclusion.
Balthier is awesome.
Now my next target is The World Ends With You. I'm extremely close to finishing it, but I want to train some more so I don't go in unprepared.
I guess that's just one more game to knock off my unfinished games list. ![]()
Stop with the union invites
I must get at least 4 or 5 of these a day. It spams my inbox with unions I don't want to join.
Now, I know that you union people just select your entire friends list and send a mass invite, which I can understand. I was a union leader once too, and I did that once or twice.
But doing it multiple times a day every day for many different unions is just annoying and frustrating. So stop doing it.
This is my warning. Stop sending me union invites, or else you're off my friends list, even if I like you. I'm sick of it.
This is also a bit of a hint to others to never send me such invites, unless I ask to join and you allow it or so on.
There are a certain couple of users that seem to do it a lot, but I won't mention who they are. They should already know.
Thanks.
And since I'm doing a blog entry, might as well post a little about what I'm playing currently.
Recently, I've gotten back into The World Ends With You, and the reason I got stuck was some silly box puzzle. Even after solving it, I have to say it's really poorly designed. But that's the only major problem I've had with the game.

I soon reached a boss fight, which I found ridiculously hard. I had extreme trouble beating it. After dieing countless times, I resorted to Gamefaqs. That's right. I used an FAQ. ![]()
It said that the boss fight was one of the simpler fights in the game and should not be a challenge whatsoever.
Well, that's embarrassing, but I managed to beat the fight because I changed the difficulty to easy, and even then I was having trouble. Turns out, I was severly underpowered. So I decided to face a couple of regular monsters, and after about an hour of playing, I had gone up 17 levels. That's insane. How I had even managed to get as far as I did, I don't know.
Yeah, I can hear you laughing shadowsurvivor1. ![]()
So now I'm adequately leveled and I'm nearing the end of the game. Before I go to my final fight, I'm going to level up some more, just in case. It doesn't take too long, and it's fun, so this is one game where I don't mind level grinding.
And other games I'm playing are Counter Strike: Source. But that's about it. There's not a whole lot to talk about that. Except, my computer's really weak and has trouble running that game, which makes it hard to play without certain graphical modifications. ![]()
Also, Battlefield Bad Company. It's awesome.
That's it for this entry. Thanks for reading. Unless you're IronBass. ![]()
Unfinished games - We all have them
I'm pretty sure everyone has them. At least one or so. I'm a bit of a procrastinator when it comes to gaming, so I have lots. ![]()
It's usually for some small reason like, I don't know where to go and I refuse to look at a walkthrough, or the boss is too hard or something.
Here's my list of games I've yet to beat, and the reasons why I stopped playing:
Final Fantasy IV DS - Playing it now
The World Ends With You - Got stuck on a ....puzzle
Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia - Couldn't find where to go
Final Fantasy XII - Playing it now
Final Fantasy X - Playing it now...but I'm stuck on a boss
Baten Kaitos - I decided to finish my other games first before I really got into this one. So it may be a while.
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles - Playing it now
Secret of Mana - Impossibly hard, got stuck on a boss
Majora's Mask - Wanted to beat my other games first...
Mega Man 9 - Got stuck on the last level
Eternal Sonata - I'll play it when I finish my other games
Tales of Vesperia - Lost interest after playing Symphonia 2, since Vesperia's combat is way slower
Paper Mario 64 - Got stuck and lost a bit of interest
Shining Force II - Finish it when I finish my other games ![]()
Zelda NES - Got stuck
Battlefield: Bad Company - Got stuck
Golden Sun: The Lost Age - Haven't actually started, but I'll start when I finish my other games...
I think that's it. How about you guys? Is there anyone perfect enough to not have any games they left unbeaten, except for maybe the one they're playing now?
